  3. We use Adobe to compare PDF file that comes from two different system.
Left side is our internal and right side is from another system.
We copy over the format of the other system for us to compare it perfectly in Adobe.
But no matter how we adjust the alignment and spacing, we still encounter below discrepancy flag.
As you notice, the text are exactly the same.
And also how come the font size of the PDF that comes from our internal system become lesser when convert to Adobe (from 8 to 7.98)

Can you help us how to sort…

    Hi,

There’s a difference in the font size between the characters in the files shared by you because the application used to create the two PDFs is different. Please try comparing the PDF files created using the same application and let me know if you’re still facing the issue.

    Thanks
    Adobe Acrobat DC Team

  4. Can't open pdf in Acrobat DC. The wheel spins and the program has to be forcefully quit. The program stops working as it prepares the file for reading.

  8. pdf documents not opening properly, with blank pages. It is worse if I try and scroll through the article soon after opening it. It will also loose text from the after a time not reading the document. This may be after the computer has been put to 'sleep' for a period (even a few minutes). It reports the error message 'Insufficient data for an image.' The new version is MUCH worse that previous versions. Please sort it out Adobe.

  9. Acrobat DC began closing automatically, again. This is two weeks after I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled. Whether I open a pdf file from the Explorer window or open Acrobat and then select the file to open, the program closes automatically 10-15 seconds after it opens. After reinstalling the program, the problem continues. I have already tried the suggestions from an earlier post (updating the software from the Help menu, repairing the software from the Help menu and running Acrobat distiller). It does seem to be checking my registration status, but does not remain open long enough for me…

Kindly share with us your machine details and Acrobat version.
also, requesting you to try ‘Repair’ once-

Reader or Acrobat, or the resources they rely on, could have been damaged. Repairing the installation is a quick troubleshooting safeguard.

(Reader) Choose Help > Repair Adobe Reader Installation.
(Acrobat) Choose Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.

  11. When zooming with the scroll wheel, Acrobat freezes and I get a spinning beach ball. The files I am working with are not large, but they do consist of lots of lines/content streams sometimes. If anyone can offer support for this, it would be greatly appreciated. I encounter this issue multiple times a day and it appears to happen only if I am trying to zoom with the wheel right after it opens and Acrobat is still trying to load the creative cloud profile, or when I have been working in the file for a period of time and try…

  12. When I have the Page Thumbnails sidebar open and I switch between different open PDFs Acrobat refreshes the whole thing, including all the pages which can be slow and locks-up the whole UI. Why can't it cache the thumbnails when I switch between documents? It becomes very painful if I have a long PDF with 100+ pages in.

Run the attached action and save your random PDF.

Also are you facing this issue with a particular document.

  15. Select Acrobat DC Preferences>General>Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer. Tick the box to choose this option, close preferences, then reopen it to discover Acrobat DC has unchecked it. Must generate hours of laughs around Adobe's watercooler. Using Windows 10.

Much has been written many many forums a fountain of sorrow from other users feeling the same pain. Please, guys. Fix it?

Your response team gives us a non-working solution, telling us to increase the size of thumbnails in Explorer to a point where content can be seen, but those thumbs are already being displayed at maximum size in Windows…
