  1. THE SYSTEM IS WAY TOO SLOW. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAS CHANGED BUT I REALLY DO TO ENJOY USING ADOBE, IF ANOTHER OPTION WAS GIVEN i WOULD USE ANOTHER SYSTEM. I DON'T LIKE THAT I PAY FOR SOMETHINGTHAT DOESN'T WORK.

  4. When opening some documents, the text is being replaced by wingdings. When checking what font is used in the Acrobat editor, the font is named "Z@RFC4D.tmp". The original font that's displayed when the file is opened on another computer is basic Arial. Colleagues at work have no issue when they open the same document.

    I had to reinstall Adobe Acrobat to have it fixed. Then, it happened again a couple days later. I'm using Adobe Acrobat PRO 32 bits with paid license.

  6. You had a good layout, then you had to go change it. You fixed a problem that did not exist. No need to church it up, you had a good thing going.

  7. I don't like the new 2024 format and understand that the previous format will not be available after the end of 2023. 2024 is hard to navigate. Confusing with switching left and right displays. Not happy with the new version at all.

    1. Since the last update to Acrobat DC, searching an Embedded Index file using a script fails: No results are ever found. The same search command, using the same Index file, can be performed manually, and once that is done the script works, but not if it is executed on its own.

    2. To reproduce:

    3. Create an Embedded Index (.pfx) file for a file.

    4. Run the following JS code (adjusting the file-path of the Index and the search term, of course):

    var cIdxPath = "/C/Test/MyIndex.pdx";
    search.query("search", "Index", cIdxPath);

    This results in 0 results, and the search doesn't seem to "kick in" at…

  8. I would really like the ability to scroll with a touchscreen pen or finger when the highlight function is on in Adobe reader. I rarely use the full width of the screen while reading pdf's, and an ideal function for me, when in highlight, would be: when dragging the pen across text, it highlights; when using the pen in the margins of the page, it writes, and when using the pen off the page and along the unused spaces on the sides, it scrolls.
    As it is, you need to toggle the highlight function on and off to scroll, which…

  9. When doing a Ctrl-F for "2040" in the document found at https://s1.q4cdn.com/695946674/files/doc_downloads/esg/PG_CTAP.pdf , the find function finds lots of text that is not "2040."

  10. As a proofreader, I like to use the read-aloud feature. Acrobat's, however, is now unusable. It crashes on my Mac. I cannot read paragraph by paragraph. If I pause to insert a comment, it restarts reading from the top of the page. If there are columns, pullquotes, figures or tables, sometimes it reads across the width of the page instead of vertically. It's just a mess.

    I used to be able to use my Mac's built in read-aloud feature, which allows me to select text to read out loud. That no longer works in Acrobat, although it does in all…

  12. Instagram has become the fastest growing social media platform around the world and the platform comes with many features. You can easily interact with your friends and family on the platform. Nowadays Instagram users use abbreviations between the text and WTW is one of them. But many of the users don’t know what does WTW mean on Instagram. Well WTW stands for “What’s the Word”.

  13. Add ability for Adobe Admins to resend account setup emails to the user, or add something on the creative cloud login homepage that alerts users who have not setup their e-signature services.
    I've had several users who had issues with sending documents for e-signature and Adobe support tells me it is because the users hadn't setup their e-signature services by clicking on an Adobe welcome email. The welcome email never came though so there was no opportunity to set it up. This welcome email was not blocked however, it was just because the user's email wasnt synced to our spam…

  14. The free trial banner in Reader interrupts user input about 5 seconds after Reader is first launched.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Make sure Reader is closed
    2. Open a form with fields
    3. Quickly click in any field
    4. Wait about 5 seconds

    Environment: Windows 10 and Windows 11 with multiple of the most recent versions of Reader

    Observed result:
    The field will lose focus about 5 seconds after the opening of the form, but only on first initialization

    Expected result:
    The field should not lose focus

  15. The "get started" splash screen pops up when I open EVERY SINGLE PDF, even if Acrobat Pro is already open. This is clearly a bug that needs to be fixed. No setting in Preferences turns it off. There isn't even a "do not show again" tickbox on the splash screen. I can't do anything until I close the splash screen, which I have to do 50 times a day. This is the worst.

  16. Recent upgrade made it much more difficult to rotate PDFs. It actually asks me to upgrade Adobe Acrobat to be able to perform this basic operation. It's frustrating.
