  1. Pre-existing document metadata that is used for documents stored in SharePoint libraries should be useable by the home section of Acrobat when I select on that connected library. Currently when I select on a connected library, whether it is a SharePoint library, or a OneDrive library the only metadata displayed on my documents is Title, Modified & Size (see attachment).

These are not helpful when I need to filter and sort through hundreds of documents to check out and update one. I would like the ability to customize my displayed metadata columns and to filter out documents that I may…

  2. When I search for text on the page, the "highlight" that indicates the presence of that word on the page is IMPOSSIBLE to see. We need some way of really making text STAND OUT. For, example, in the image below I've searched for the word "chair." Can YOU see it? (hint: 22.18)

  3. In 'Edit' menu, under 'Deselect All', please add an 'Invert Selection' option which would deselect currently selected pages and select currently non-selected pages. This is easier than typing page numbers manually.

    Thank you for reading!

  4. As of November 2019, Adobe "had no plans" to address the issue of comments printing on single pages instead of a summary in its truest definition - all comments on one page. 12 comments scattered across 6 pages, and contained about 1/2 a page of text characters required 12 individual pages for a "summary." ANY CORRECTION OF THIS ISSUE YET?

  5. Please add an 'Invert Selection' option which would change the current page selection such that all pages previously deselected would be selected and vice versa.

    Thanks for reading

  6. If I could highlight a sentence and have the ability to cut and past to different page or place in working document it would be easier because the text boxes are too small or too big

  8. when you open a document in acrobat pro DC, it defaults to view full page width. not terribly helpful 99.99% of the time. i always went straight for the toolbar to hit the 'fit height' setting to view the entire page instead. well, seems that an update had taken that option and had hidden it. you now have to go digging for it in the view menu, which takes longer than a quick flip of a button on the toolbar.
i have also noticed that a lot of the lesser-used settings for viewing pages have replaced this simple and helpful…

  9. A page-wide reticle centered at the pointer location to easily read plot axes. Especially useful to digitize graph data.

Extra feature: Click, and the reticle stays centered there, allowing one to zoom in/out to read axis for instance. Click again to free the reticle.

Extra feature: Angle of the reticle should be customizable in the case of tilted scanned documents. Width of the reticle line as well, why not :)

  10. Scrolling is slow on mac version when search bar open and more than 2 or three words are highlighted in a document. It is EXCRUCIATING and really needs to be fixed.

  11. It would be helpful to allow users to be able to select from different highlighting options for search results (bolded, color options, highlighting entire search result). I have a very difficult time detecting the slight shift from black to blue. A better option would be a brighter color (selectable) highlight of the entire word, instead of shifting just the color of the text.

  12. When scaling page content with the preflight the links are not scaled together with the text, but instead maintain their original size and position and for this reason are all in the wrong places after scaling the page content with the preflight. Is there a solution for this problem?
For a submission I have to create a huge report consisting of a lot of documents. It is required for the report to have a continuous header on all the hundreds (or maybe even thousands) of pages. In order to insert the header I have to scale the content of the…

  13. When searching document, the highlighted colour is light blue.

Surely the purpose of this function is to highlight the search item, not make it slightly more noticable?
I'm very surprised to find that the search highlight colour isn't adjustable. I would, for example, set it to neon pink!

    Thank you for your time.

  14. Acrobat Reader DC freezes up. this started about 2 weeks ago. Ehen opening a PDF some time i can scroll for a short while then it freezes or some times it freezes as soon as it is launched. I've been through all of the suggested steps nothing so far helps. what next? I don't get an error code. Operating system is Windows 8.1. It worked fine on windows 8.1 earlier so I assume an update was pushed that was not compatible with my machine.

    Help

  15. I am a musician who is beginning to use Adobe Acrobat DC to annotate scores. All music notation software (that I'm aware of) integrates continuous horizontal scrolling between pages, reflecting the way that sheet music is actually read. Without being able to scroll horizontally in Adobe Acrobat DC, annotating music scores is very cumbersome as one has to re-find staves when scrolling vertically and cannot make annotations across pages.

My feature request is the implementation of both horizontal scrolling and continuous horizontal scrolling between pages as an additional method of page navigation. Being such a simple feature, I'm sure it…

  16. why does not the DC allow me an option to open a new file on a new tab than in a new window, which it defaults to? I wish this option was available.

  17. When user scroll up and down pages, thumb nail page in the left hand pane is not that much recognizable. I think system will be better showing thick solid line surrounded around the thumbnail page even user scroll the page without magnifying it. Hope this will make sense to you guys. It is simply dotted line surrounded, which is not recognizable.

  19. I would like to suggest that there should be an option of viewing two pages simultaneously with different page no.
Currently two page view is available for the adjacent pages view .

  20. In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2020.013.20064, there are "Rotate Left" and "Rotate Right" buttons under "Organize Pages" that can be added to the Quick Tools. However, clicking either of those brings up the rotate pages dialog box instead of simply rotating 90 degrees left or right.
