Private commenting on a shared PDF in Document Cloud
I sometimes need to generate a share link to numerous participants to a PDF for commenting without but would like participants to feel free to annotate safe in the knowledge that their annotations are private and won't be visible to other recipients of the link.
Would be great to have another little toggle appear after you've said you want commenting that you want to have the comments visible to everyone | only the document owner.

No longer able to email a document as an attachment
I seem to be unable to share a document in an email as an attachment, only as a link. This is very frustrating for people receiving. Can it please be set up so that they have the document as an attachment as well?

Problems with getting comments - people without adobe think they need to log in
I really like the ability to share documents via the cloud but we have issues using it in our company. People who we share with don't see the "guest option" and refuse to get an adobe account and thus don't comment or request we share the original with them. Thus we have had problems with adoption and had to revert to sharing through mail. I think you have tried to make people get an account unknowingly this is discouraging adoption across a wider audience. I suggest a quick fix with the visual design to make sure that both options are…

Expiry date for PDF files Share link
To secure PDF files, we do password protection and share via link.
However, once file is shared via link, this link is still valid for ages and anyone who knows the password can download.
Can we put a expiry date for this sharing link so that we can control the PDF files expiry protect our files. This will some what restrict any 3rd party websites/apps trying to remove password from PDF3 votes -
I have Microsoft Outlook and I send all my PDF attachments thru this email.
I have Microsoft Outlook and I send all my PDF attachments thru this email. Your October 2018 update no longer recognizes Outlook default that automatically sends an attachment to an email.
Now we must every time get diverted and click on attachment and continue to attach every single PDF in an email to Outlook. This creates a lot of work for no valid reason. EVERY user of Outlook is now going thru these extra steps for no valid reason. STOP IT.
I am surprised that Adobe management who probably use Microsoft Outlook have themselves not wondered why they are now…

Disable Download
When sharing links through the Send for Review feature, have an option to prohibit downloads, copying, or editing beyond comments etc. More control over this feature will prevent draft documents from floating around.

Send PDF as E-mail attachemet
Since the latest Adobe update (version 2019.008.20074), it now requires to save the PDF, then the right pane appears and you need to select "Send as Attachment", then select default and/or custom mail application before the mail application is actually launched. This is so cumbersome compared to what it was in the previous versions.
Why make use jump through so many hoops when it worked fine before? Can we set our defaults so it will turn into a 'One button' operation, or are we at the mercy of the adobe bureaucracy?3 votesHi,
Apologies for the inconvenience caused!
Could you please follow the steps in the below article to use the email icon to send PDF directly as email attachment.Link : helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/send-email-attac..
Please let me know in case of any concerns.

Unable to use share function
After clicking on send button it says I need to be connected to the internet. I have shut down and restarted everything. Our IT department looked at it and says our settings are all correct and that it looks like it is on the Adobe end.

Duplication of Sender Message into Comments
When we share for review, the sender message option is causing duplication of email notifications.
Even if we do not input anything into the sender message when we share a file, a generic message is added into the email notification that is sent to all recipients, and then 30 seconds later, that generic message is added automatically as a comment to the shared file. The comment generates 2nd email notification that is going out to all recipients letting them know there is a comment added to the link. So for every shared file, each recipient gets two emails back-to-back.

For Adobe Cloud shared reviews, there needs to be a way to give another user access to all your reviews.
For Adobe Cloud shared reviews, there needs to be a way to give other users access to all your shared review documents. All of our shared reviews have a deadline. So, a team manager or a backup when a person is sick needs to be able to access those reviews and PDFs. This is critical for business continuity.
Going back to SharePoint or server-based reviews is not an option.

email attachment button
The email as an attachment button is no longer available on the menu bar (Adobe Acrobat Pro V 2023.006.20320).
Now, one needs to press SHARE then wait for the options to click the email button. Can the SHARE button be available as a side panel, full menu bar or allow customization of the menu bar.
Currently, steps have been added that waste lots of time.

Monthly usage report
I wish I could have a simple usage report.
In order not to damage privacy there could be a tool that indicates the last use with large variables:
less than a month ago;
more than a month ago;
more than three months ago;
more than 6 months ago; etc. as happens with the console of the non-competing software Autocad.
Thanks best regards

Adobe Collaborate: I don't have permission to view MY OWN shared PDF file?
As the title, I shared a file. Users have left comments.
When a user leaves a comment I get an email which links to my shared PDF.
When I click on the link to the file, I don't have permission.I'm logged in using the same account, same email. I only have the one account.
What gives?

Request E-Signatures link is "Dead"
It would be great if the "Request e-signatures" feature worked. Not really a new idea, but a good one nonetheless.

tracker
Tracker and cloud based sharing are not compatible. There needs to be a clearer tracker functionality for shared Cloud based share. Needs to be clear for sender and reviewer.
There is an error if trying to initiate tracker on a cloud shared review.
