  1. Unable to uncheck headers and footers option after comparing two pdfs.

    This is not an idea. I am not able to uncheck headers and footers option after comparing two pdfs. Because of this I'll have to go through obvious header and footer changes, which is a waste of time.

  2. Selection Bug

    it happened unexpectedly - i can not trace the trigger. ever since, selecting text/graphics in PDF DC produces pixelated multicolor mosaic that makes it difficult to spot lines/text elements

  4. Change the "update" button to "upgrade"

    While installing Photoshop and Lightroom today, the installation screen showed that I had an existing install of Acrobat DC. I've never heard of Acrobat DC... so I assumed it must be part of the Acrobat system - and I elected to update the installation by pressing the "update" button. Unbeknownst to me, it uninstalled my Acrobat Pro XI and installed a trial version of Acrobat DC. I called the Support Line and waited AN HOUR AND A HALF to speak to a tech support representative to find out how to revert back to my Pro XI. By the time I…

  5. No extract button

    I download a large pdf document every day. This must be broken up into smaller documents, but there is NO EXTRACT BUTTON! I have to open the "Page Thumbnails" and highlight what I want to extract, then right click, hit "extract" and go from there. It takes so much longer!

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
    You can use the extract button by following below mentioned steps:
    1) Open a pdf
    2)Click on Organize pages
    3) Now click on extract
    4)Now you can select the pages you want to extract
    5) Also you have the option to ‘Extract pages as separate files’

    Hope this helps you.

  6. Acrobat crashes

    Environment: Mac OS 10.13.6
    Acrobat Pro DC version 2019.010.20064
    Build: 19.10.20064.311007

    Steps:
    1. Open 2 PDFs and tile them vertically
    2. Activate the Comment app in both documents.
    3. Collapse the Comment sidebars on both documents
    4. Select some text and click on the Highlight tool in the commenting toolbar
    5. Observe that both Comment sidebars expand automatically (undesirable behavior).
    6. Type Command+W to close PDFs without saving.

    Result:
    Acrobat crashes.

    Expected:
    Documents both close without a crash.

    Acrobat Pro DC version 2019.010.20064
    Build: 19.10.20064.311007

    Steps:
    1. Open 2 PDFs and tile them vertically
    2. Activate the Comment app in both documents.

  10. tracking anonymous views on shared links

    Send and track used to track anonymous views on shared links. For instance, I generate a PDF and a customer posts the link to their website, I could track the number of anonymous views and downloads. I I can no longer do that directly from Adobe, I have to log into the old cloud. The new UI in the cloud does not display this information either.

  12. Flattening transparencies results in duplicated pages

    When flattening transparencies in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (2019.008.20071) on single pages the pages are duplicated in the document after flattening.

    I would like to be able to generate a table of contents using bookmarks within a PDF. While there are some third party plugins that will do this, it would be helpful to have this feature within Acrobat.

    Can you please try signing out from your application. Go to Help > Sign out.

    Sign in again to the application and try to use Fill and Sign.

  17. Modifying Sticky Note Orientation / Size

    When adding a sticky note to a document, it faces the wrong way. I wish there was a way to rotate it so the talk bubble faces in the direction of the text, as well as resizing it, or at least, allow it to scale with the text. If I resize the document, the icon doesn't appear to stay locked. I've use the arrow on the bottom but would prefer the talk bubble.

    Is there a way to adjust the orientation of these icons?

  18. Reordering pages

    In the previous version of Adobe Acrobat DC, in Organize Pages, I could select a thumbnail and move the page to a new location. What happened to that feature? I am beside myself as I used that feature ALL THE TIME!

    PLEASE BRING IT BACK or tell me how to move pages now that it is gone. I don't have a select page range option which I saw on different forums. WHAT AM I MISSING

  20. #Bug: Adobe Acrobat PRO DC not responding on Surface 2 ...

    Hey,
    When I'm using Adobe Acrobat PRO DC on my super powerful windows surface 2, it always got stuck (not responding) for 10/20 seconds.

    Since I'm a pro client and surface has quite good features (illustrator is running easy), it's not nice to have this every time.

    I'm wondering if I'm the only one and if you can solve it.
