  2. Automation of watermark placement

    Would like to set up drop-app that would automatically place pre-configured (pdf) watermarks, one for the first page, another on the rest.

  3. Bug Report

    When I make a change to a file with Adobe Pro DC and try to save the file, Windows Defender is blocking access to the "Control Folder Access". It says to add the Adobe Pro DC exe file as a safe app. I can not locate the path. I have Windows 10 Creators Update OS.

  4. Taskbar icon for Acrobat and Reader are exactly the same

    How about having a different taskbar icon for Reader and Acrobat! There are some users that use both and it would be nice to be able to distinguish which program is which by looking at the icon! Like we USED to!

  7. Bug: Cannot convert PDF to Word when temp folder is Directory Junction in windows

    Cannot convert PDF to word when temp folder is Directory Junction in Windows.

    Steps to reproduce the issue:
    1. Create a Directory Junction for %temp% using mklink /J %temp% X:\temp_dst
    2. Try convert a pdf file to word (also as powerpoint, excel)

    Environment:
    OS: Windows 7 x64 Traditional Chinese
    Acrobat Version: 2018.009.20044

    Expected result:
    Word file create correctly.

    Observed result:
    A dialog say: "Save As failed to process this document. No file was created."

  8. All replies should be not be hidden be default.

    Comment rplies are hidden by default and can not be changed. So when you hover over it or double click the comment. You do not see the reply. And so can get missed.

    If my understanding is correct, you purchased some product but could not downlaod. Can you provide some more details please? Exactly which product/version did you purchase? Did you purchase online? If so, did you receive an email with the download link?

    Hi we are not able to reproduce the problem in house.
    Can you elaborate little more here and also please provide the version of Acrobat you are using.

  11. designer's pdf inspector

    It would be great to have a pdf inspection mode to easily select items in the pdf and get printing specs on it like the ink type (pms, cmyk) and color used (pms 281, C100M60Y0K6), the font, the resolution of an image as dpi at the current used size, etc.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your valuable feedback. We have recorded it in our database.

    However,Before printing you can check default value through:
    Go to ‘PrintProduction>outputPreview’
    Select ObjectInspector from preview drop down and you can check default value.
    Hope this will serve you purpose.

  12. Combine Files and Organize Pages converts some text into block shapes

    When I use the Combine Files or Organize Pages Tool, some text in the PDF files, in which all text had displayed correctly, is converted to square block shapes. The problem seems to correlate with the size of the combined file. As file size increases, more text is converted to square block shapes.

  13. Inability to file pdf files in alphabetical order

    I have recently upgraded my Mac operating system to Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.1. Since doing this, I am unable to use the Mac Finder in alphabetical order to drag and drop / file pdf's from Adobe Acrobat Pro onto my Mac flash storage (the folders are no longer in alphabetical order and are displayed in a random mixed order). The same applies when you print to pdf and then try and file on Finder.

    I would note that Finder itself accessed directly (i.e. not through Adobe) works as it is designed to and you can select any of…

    Hi,
    How files/folder are sorted in any finder window is solely the business of your operating system and not Actobat. Are you facing this just with Adobe PDFs?

  14. inserting a blank page throughout a document at specified increments.

    In a large PDF document, having the capability to insert a blank page or a specified page at certain intervals throughout the document would be a great time saver.

  15. Exporting files to Word automatically defaults to "Do not spell check" .

    When exporting a PDF to Word, the files automatically default to Turn Spell Check off. This has caused numerous errors in my documents as spell check is an necessary function. This is under the Review tab, language Function in Word. I don't understand why Adobe would default to that. It did not used to do that. At the very least, you should offer the option to the individual doing to conversion to have the choice in their setup.

  16. Adobe Send & Track Add-in for Outlook stops email signature coming through when sending PDFs

    Installation of Adobe Add-in for Send & Track should not be automatic. It blocks the email signature of the user in Outlook 2013 from appearing when he/she wants to send a PDF by email directly from Adobe or other program which uses the Outlook API

  18. javascript window expired

    I can't open PDFs, I tried everything from disabling javascript, turning protected mode off, to formatting my laptop. It always pops out with a javascript window expired. I've attached a photo below. If I disable javascript I am able to open the file but there is no content, if it is enabled then once I open the file it the pop up appears and when I click ok it closes the file.
