  1. Using the find tool to search for text within the PDF, the search will either find text your didn't ask for (see Error image) or if there are multiple results, sometimes all the consecutive results (Capture 2) will be hidden behind a blank/white box that I cannot interact with.

  2. I have a fillable form that was given to me that has a lot of text in one field. The text extends beyond the border established for the field and a scroll bar appears on the right hand side of the field to allow me to read it.

I need to print the document with all of the contents in it but can't figure it out. Either I'm doing something wrong or there is a problem with the form or Adobe can't do it. Any help you can provide would be helpful.

  4. Since InDesign CC2019 has the ability to import PDF comments for quicker apply of text corrections, it would be of enormous help, to be able to change the comment type in Acrobat.

Some proof readers e.g. use the markup comment type to change text. But InDesign doesn’t allow the markup comment type to be executed with a simple klick on »Apply«.
Or they use »delete text« comment type, althought they wanted to change text. But in InDesign »delete text« simply deletes, but doesn’t insert the comment’s text.

So if I’d be able to change the type of a comment easily,…

  6. I think adding a feature to spell check all content within a PDF would be greatly beneficial for everyone. Our company uses spell check within Word all the time to ensure no egregious errors are present, but when documents are pulled into artwork, we then lose that ability to do a spell check. Many companies work strictly out of Acrobat for most of their process, but the only thing spell check is able to review on the artwork is comments. If it could review all content, it would help save errors in printing which would save companies money. If you…

  7. The "Highlight Current Bookmark" option currently makes the outline of the bookmark icon a little darker or bolder, but I can barely tell the difference to see which is highlighted. Could the "highlighting" be changed somehow to make it stand out a little more? Maybe the fill color for icon of the current bookmark could be a different color or darker shade.

  11. The recent update to Adobe Acrobat DC (20.006.200042) has removed the action button from the Prepare Form menu.

I am unable to add buttons to form like "print" or "email". When opening older forms, the print still works, but it is unedible the action you can do. The email button goes off to an unknown link.

In addition, the DC help still list the old way to add and edit these action buttons without listing a new method to create or edit these buttons

  13. There are tooltips on all software helpers, which you can activate or not. But when it comes to making a tooltip yourself, nothing allows it ... When we have small references on a text (for example by exposing, 1, 2, ...), this it would be really useful to be able to introduce the possibility of adding a tooltip there when the mouse passes over the small number. Currently, it's impossible, or a real hassle !!

  17. If we create a tagged PDF from InDesign, the contents item for hyperlinks is missing. This can be fixed with Acrobats single preflight fix: Create Contents Item For Link Annotations.

However, this broke already in 2019 and still is broken in 2020!
In 2018 it works in one go.

In 2019 and 2020 we have to run it is many as five times before it is actualy applied!

We save the document each time under a different name, sometimes the third time we run the fix it sticks, sometimes after five times, sometimes not at all.

    Now we heard this…

  18. The steps: Replace Pages, Save.

Acrobat loses all the text, leaving only fillable fields.

It doesn't happen for all PDFs.

This is the third version of Acrobat that has this problem. Isn't it time to fix this bug?

I have looked several times on the Internet for references to this bug, and have found nothing.
