  1. I did NOT give consent for Adobe to save my signature into their cloud service!
This feature of saving my signature outside my computer should NEVER be activated without my permission!
Signing could and SHOULD be performed only locally by using local images and file, there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED for using your cloud services.

  2. Mac Acrobat always stuck when opening a file from document cloud. Though it is downloading but the system regarded as it was dead. Also, when scrolling in file, or in viewing PDFs, the frame rate is low, about 15 frame per second, or even lower,(5fps). When the search box is open. It is not so friendly on Mac compared to the acrobat on iPad or iPhone, or even the web version!

  4. When clicking on a bitmap image with Output Preview's Object Inspector, the image resolution reported is incorrect. It works as expected with color and grayscale images, but not bitmap (1 bit black and white). My test image is 3"x3" @ 600 PPI. When clicked on with the Object Inspector, Output Preview reports 129,600 PPI.

  5. I have a Mac and a PC, both with Acrobat DC Pro, both with MS Word 2016, both on same enterprise account. When I use the Acrobat tab to export a PDF from Word, it works on the PC and fails on the Mac. On the Mac, Acrobat DC Pro will start to launch, then it warns me I need to be connected to the internet and signed in (I am both). I have tried with and without Creative Cloud running and signed in.

  6. For legal and compliance reasons, my industry often requires large numbers of items (50+) to be available in our dropdown fields.

These items often require review and/or quick corrections/edits, and it can be very frustrating to scan for the needed item in the list when the display box can only view 4 or 5 items at a time.

It is also a frustration when the horizontal length of a field is longer than the box size.

Allowing the box to be dragged at the corner to increase the x and y lengths would be a small but tremendously helpful ui…

  7. I have been disappointed with Acrobat Standard DC in touch mode. I could find nothing in your support section that helps me with this. In full screen mode, the highlight tool does not operate. (I can only use it to underline or strike through). Page navigation is tough. I have not found an easy way to get back to regular mode once I am in full screen mode. (I have to close the program and open it again.) It seems to me that given the high cost of the software, Adobe should have developed this feature so that it works…

  8. I use bookmarks to store documents similar to how they would be stored in a file cabinet. Occasionally, I need to move the pages withing the document which requires two stepsl, (1) move the pages; (2) move the bookmark. I suggest allowing pages to be associated with a bookmark. Once the association is made between pages and a bookmark, then when you move the bookmark to a new location, the pages would move with it. I would then extend this feature to allow bookmarks to be dragged and dropped between files.

  9. Consider hiring a proofreader so users can understand you. On this page I found "If you are still using Acrobat 11.x or other older versions, please note that those are no more supported by Adobe. Try out the latest, Acrobat DC.
In case your concern is not addressed in the latest version, please report the issue against Acrobat DC."

I am not a proofreader but I can tell those sentences have issues with English grammar that affects their clarity. As a tech company surely you want to convey to users that you pay attention to detail, are smart, intelligent, and…

  12. It's absurd when you working on a form and have to look up information to complete the form and then the form disappears. I realize Safari is a joke and the "built in" that drive you towards one of "their " products. But I am paying a monthly fee for playing hide and seek with documents?

  13. I would like to be able to insert print breaks (force next page to print on top page in duplex).

Currently, the only way to do this is to add a blank page, however, this looks very odd when viewing the electronic version versus the printed copy. It would be nice if there was a way to force certain pages to be treated as a first page for printing purposes (conceptually similar to how a page break forces the next line of text onto the next page)

  14. I would like to be able to 'fill' a blank box within a PDF with a certain color. Stopping at the borders. That way when I print the PDF that box appears highlighted. Currently, I have to manually create a shape within a box and fill that yellow, that is time consuming and doesn't look professional for my customers. Please build an 'auto-fill' function to fill blank boxes with a desired color.

  16. I am getting issues with scrolling documents - for viewing or editing - on Acrobat DC on Windows - all software up to date.

As I scroll down instead of the document moving clearly I get multiple repeats of the individual lines making the document unreadable.

It is only resolved by scrolling up a few lines and the document 'catching back up' with itself

This 1st occurred when I had Acrobat DC open on 2 windows - it now seems to happen after the program being open for a certain period of time - 15 - 20 minutes, whether I…

  18. I create stamps and place them in my stamp pulldown menu. They remain there for the rest of the day. I log off my PC at night. Log back on the morning and open Adobe Acrobat DC. Open a PDF and try to stamp with one of my create stamps. The ones that were at the top of the pulldown as a favorite yesterday is no longer there. I then have to open the stamp and make it a favorite again.

  19. Enterprise accounts should be able to increase the "time out" time period for Shared Device Licenses from 90 minutes to 1 day or until logout/login. There should be more customizability within the Shared Device License apps so that it is not bugging you every 90 minutes to make sure you are still the same person you were 90 min ago. If it reset every time the computer was logged out, restarted, or even customized to give a specified time until it rechecks, that would make more sense and be much more user friendly. The verification of "Is this still you"…

  20. I just had my computer repaired which required a migration of my old computer SSD to a new SSD. Before that, I used to be able to open up several PDF files at the same time in their own window, which is how I like to work as I frequently have to review multiple documents at the same time. I would like to know if that option still exists and if not I would like it back please.

Also, the icons have changed on my desktop (why; that was your brand and was easy to depict from other doc files?).

I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.
For openign several PDF files at the same time in their own window you can
1)open the preferences box by going to edit menu > click on preferences or by pressing ctrl+k
    2) In categories select ‘General’
    3) In basic tools uncheck ’Open documents as new tabs in the same window.

For “fit a page to the full Adobe view screen” you can
    1) Right click and select ‘Document properties’
    2) Click on Initial view tab and select your preference in ‘Layout and Magnification’

I hope this will help you.
