  2. Send by email does not work (bug).

In windows 10 pro 64bit and latest Acrobat pro DC it is impossible to send a document via email. It is not abble to connect to the smtp serv er of the 1and1 email service by any plausible setting (SSL/TSL/plain).

Wen I try to do the same with my gmail account it sais it is not possible to compose the email.

    1. Open PDF
    2. Open Set Page Boxes - TrimBox
    3. Add a value in "Top", "Bottom", "Left" and "Right": For all sides you can see grey guides in your document. Expect for the right side. The right guideline is somewhere outside the document.

I have to use this really often so it's quite annoying not to see where the guideline is placed. That means a lot of time for "trying".

    Hi Sarah

I tried using it myself and the guidelines are visible for all four sides. Can you please share some files where you see this happening (and also a screenshot of the issue so that I can be sure we are on the same page).
This would help us investigate the issue faster.

    Regards

  3. I created a nice form, loaded it to the web, tested it and when I clicked the "Submit" button - nada! Researched, tried other methods and when I finally called support, I was told that Acrobat DC can't/won't email completed pdf forms from the web! But maybe it would work if I could find someone who could code the javascript for me. So I found the javascript (I can do some coding) and this.maildoc() doesn't work.

Why bother with this? It was a huge waste of time. There are on-line pdf form companies that charge less and claim to offer…

  5. I am in adobe acrobat signed in under my account, but adobe is still asking me to sign in upper right hand corner. Clicked and signed in 5 times trying to authenticate to be able to sign a document. Each time it says that I am signed in to my account, but the widget still says sign in instead of my name and my saved signature is not there

  6. Everytime you make an update you make it harder for me to find my edit document button. I just opened one and absolutely none of the icons or right click provides me with edit. Finally I find if I highlight text THEN hit right click I get the menu that allows me to edit. Why take down the one in the header and make me have to do additional steps (highlighting) to be able to edit. I hate when companies adopt the Microsoft culture of calling "improvements" just moving essential commands and options around and saying it's new. At least…

    Hi,

Sorry for the trouble that you are facing here.
you can easily use the edit app from the Right hand Panel Menu, Tools center and even on Searching for “edit” in the Tools search in RHP when any doc is launched.

Let me know if you see any confusion here ?

  8. One of our clients is experiencing issues with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. We have an Internet Explorer/ActiveX application in which a user can view PDF files through Internet Explorer's 'Adobe PDF Reader' ActiveX control.

When the user closes the control, Acrobat DC's AcroRd32.exe will close a moment later. If the user opens another PDF document too quickly after closing the first one, this new instance of AcroRd32.exe will not shut down properly even after closing the control.

Adobe Reader DC does not have this issue, but there it appears related to the 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' checkbox under 'Security…

  9. I get the confirmation licensing message after logging in, but it always stays as 'log in' on the top right instead of my name. Restarting and clicking the login box sometimes fixes it. Longterm issue.

  10. "Remove Empty Pages" was a feature in Preflight that has since been removed. What a great option to have, very disappointed with it's removal. Is there another way to identify blank pages using Adobe? Or can this option be added to an account? When working with 1000s of pages, selecting blank pages for deletion is very tedious and costly for the client. I have several users that could utilize this tool.

  11. I'd like the option to crop multiple pages in one go instead of individually. e.g. Document with non-print marks. Instead of creating separate PDF with InDesign or other desktop publisher, I'd like to crop all the pages in one go.

  12. Be inability to stamp a sheet with a keyboard command is mind-boggling.I know I can select the stamps options menu with Command K but from there that is no way with the keyboard to apply the stamp to a page. This dramatically lengthens my workflow when having to apply stamps to multiple sheets in the document.

  13. I would like to be able to adjust the leading for multi-scroll fillable type. I often have to adjust my art in InDesign so that the type matches the lines on forms.

  14. We would like to be able to send more customized emails to our customers instead of the template Adobe Sign Email. Such as, instead of an automatic email being send out that reads "your agreement has been cancelled" we would like to edit this email to read "your agreement has been rejected".

  16. I am running Windows 10. Since the last Adobe Acrobat Pro update, the program has been absolutely awful. Opening a document is a minute long process much less doing anything else to it. I had to download another program to be able to view PDFs for work. Very frustrating. Been like this for at least a month.

    Hi,

You can always check the recent files you opened, but as designed after system restart Acrobat will not open those files for you by itself.

    Thanks

  19. Acrobat needs an append option... or the ability to print multiple docs to a Portfolio.
All of the competitors have an option to print multiple files and add to single document. Acrobat even allows you to append scans to exiting pdfs. Why is there no option that does not require you to save multiple pdfs and then combine them. Seems easy enough... but when you have users refusing to switch platforms because they email statements to customers all day, the added steps of saving and combining documents would literally add hours a day to their workflow, You are not going…
