  1. For many years I have been programming Acrobat forms for my employer as a non-IT specialist.
    I have put a lot of private money and free time into programming.
    Now my employer will no longer provide Acrobat Pro on a rental basis due to your too complicated licensing model. Please offer computer licenses for purchase again.
    Otherwise we will have to switch to another PDF software.

  2. No basic functionality in the top menu (Reduce File, etc.), no immediate access to a Marquee Zoom tool because the tool bar has to be opened in a separate tab every time I open a file before I can use them. I'm shocked that Adobe is still pushing on with this awful excuse for a UI. It's convoluted and a waste of user time, let alone visually inconsistent with all other Adobe products. Lots of user complaints relating to the same issues but, as usual, Adobe don't appear to want to fix it, just carry on shoe-horning what they think…

  3. Version is compatible only with few fonts.Eg when I download tata mutual fund statement it shows in proper english in other apps..Where as in this app it shows me Portuguese and alignment is completely rubbishy....Never faced such type of issue earlier

  4. After downloading a password-protected document (with password protection but authorization for form processing and saving) can only save once.

    When trying to save the document a second time (also under a different name), the error message appears:
    "The document could not be saved.
    The file is either read-only or used by another user.
    Save the document under a different name or in a different folder. "

    Unfortunately, the document can not be saved under a different name and / or folder.

  5. It would be helpful if the Adobe Admin Console had an area where you can see when an account is created or deleted. We have Enterprise licensing and i'm surprised that this info is not available, especially for audit purposes.

  6. Setting a reminder feature is helpful, and sometimes we have the need to update the reminder schedule (ex: the reminder is set for every other day and we want to update it to once per week). I contacted support and they said I could try cancelling a document and resending it with a new reminder schedule. Is there a way to update the reminder schedule without cancelling the document? This would more user friendly for the sender and receiver of the document.

  7. We used to be able to actually ADD text to our pdf's, I am not seeing where or what I need to click on to be able to do this as easy as with the previous Adobe Pro XI version our company had.

  8. I have two things to say:

    1) "Reopen PDFs from last session" doesn't work for me. The setting is ticked in the relevant menu but on launching the Acrobat, it is greyed out.

    2) Inb the "Recent" panel there are checkboxes for recently opened PDFs. I think there should be an option there to select using the checkboxes the PDFs the user wishes to open and opening them.

  9. The way the tools lay out in Acrobat 11 are very easy for page replacements. Because the documents we work with are lengthy and complex, I'd like to see Replace tool much easier to work with.

    I want to see simultaneously:
    * Bookmarks or Thumbnails
    * The PDF pages (current document)
    * the Replace tool icon ready to use

    In the current product (Acrobat Std DC 2019.021.20056) has an icon for Replace that is hard to find, and when clicked, you are forced into a visual layout that is rather difficult.

  10. Within PDF's we often create notes and comments. The text font and size sometimes needs adjustment. Having used MS Windows all our lives we are conditioned to simply highlight the text, right-click and a pop-up box appears with "properties" listed. Unfortunately with Acrobat DC Pro "properties" is not an option. Now we must navigate 4 layers deep into the menu: View > Show/Hide > Toolbar items > Show Properties Bar

  11. I do not have an idea, I have a complaint. We pay for adobe and we use the adobe sign on a daily basis and on a daily basis I have issues with the website not responding and I have to try multiple times to get it to work. Today I have tried multiple times to send my documents to be signed and all I see is thumbnail not yet available and it is not displaying my docs. Super frustrating when there are deadlines to meet. My idea would be to have a working program.

  13. I purchased a monthly plan of Acrobat DC. I was not able to install via Adobe Creative Cloud. Therefore, I downloaded the installer from the Web, and have succesfully installed Acrobat DC. I am now asked to provide a registration serial number. Where can I find this number?

My enterprise has subscriptions to individual Creative Cloud apps (e.g. PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc), as well as "All App" subscriptions (i.e. the entire Creative Cloud bundle), as well as Acrobat Standard, and Acrobat Professional. Adobe should provide me with alerts when it detects that a user is over subscribing. For example: (1) If a user is assigned an All Apps subscription, an alert should be raised it they are also assigned any other subscription. (2) If a user is assigned 3 or more individual Creative Cloud apps (excluding Acrobat) an alert should be raised since it is more cost effective…

  15. For my enterprise I subscribe to multiple individual Creative Cloud products (for users who need 1 or 2 products only, since it is more cost effective than an All Apps subscription). I might have 9 of 10 PhotoShop subscriptions assigned, 10 of 10 Illustrator subscriptions assigned, and 11 of 10 InDesign subscriptions just assigned. That means I have to true up InDesign by 1 even though I overestimated my PhotoShop and am 'overpaying' until I am allowed to true it down.   16. We just notcied a strange behavior of Acrobat/Adobe Reader (DC 2019.021.20056) and found the root cause:

    There's a generated PDF that uses standard fonts which are referenced through the AcroForm default resources entry, too. Strangely the font has a Name entry in its dictionary:

    We add 2 signature fields with our own tool and certify/sign one field. This results in a valid document, which you can download here (https://customers.setasign.com/adobe/document-with-name-in-font.pdf). Do not wonder, there's really only a single line on the page.

  18. I received this document via email, and it previews fine in my Outlook Client, I downloaded and opened the file to sign, and Acrobat Pro would not display the file correctly. I was under pressure to sign the document, and I ended up downloading Foxit Reader and it read and allowed me to sign the document for free. Later I viewed the same document on my Android device in Acrobat, and the same error was reproduced. I contacted support and they were unable to resolve the issue.
