  1. It is a Bug, not an idea.

    When trying to insert a calculation into a form field to show the new date (also with other simple calculations), for example

    var f = this.getField("Heute");
    f.value = util.printd("d.m.yyyy",new Date());

    I can insert it, but when clicking OK the field is empty and nothing calculates.

    There seems to be an error, snce this has worked befor – or I am doing it wrong, but I cannot see how.

    Any ideas?

  2. Sadly , there is no way to trigger the Custom Action Items created in Acrobat DC Conditionally:
    Examples:
    1. If the Page number is > 5 then RUN Action item else Skip.
    2. If the bookmarks are available/unavailable then RUN Action item 'x' else RUN Action item 'y'.
    3. If the Page orientation is A3 then Skip Action item.

    It gets harder because:
    Even with Custom commands it is not possible to Call/RUN an already saved Action Item.
    Example:
    if (this.numPages > 5) -> Call/Run a Action Item "eX;Set open Options" -> Then Save the file.

    You can't do it,…

    Hi Bruno,

    Can you please share the steps where you are facing this issue. Also, if it is file specific, can you please share 1 file as well.

    Thanks.

  4. I have to fill out form repeatedly with different information each week for something for class. I edited it a bit the first time and then set it up to use as a "template" for myself in the future. However, I am trying to delete a portion in "Fill & Sign" where I circled things (I had to do a bunch of ratings on a scale of 1-5) and change them for the new week and it will not let me delete or adjust the old circles I made. I can't figure out how to do this or find any…

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting your concern.
    As of now, Adobe scan app is not implemented for Windows. We will update you if its done in near future.
    Thanks.

  6. When printing long documents (books etc.) it would be great to be able to add blank pages, that does not exist in the PDF in order to get a correct double sided print.The size of the blank page could e.g. depend on the page size before the blank.

  7. AABDC needs 'Smart Lookup' capabilities like what is in MS Word 2016 to be able to look up phrases, not just SINGLE words.

    I want to be able to highlight something such as a persons name and then 'right click' on it and have a 'drop down' link to Google search the name or other selected phrases.

  8. Acrobat DC's Save As dialogue is horrible. Why does this product need to differentiate from a typical Save As--even from the rest of Adobe's products? I want to immediately be able to choose Desktop or Documents or whatever, and not have to click an additional "Choose a Different Folder..." button, just because my save location does not appear in the recent short list.

  9. I spend all day compiling pdfs from multiple files and these 2 features are driving me crazy! In the newest Acrobat Pro DC version everytime I access the thumbnails panel it goes back to a long strip of pages stacked one above the other, I generally prefer to have 2 or 3 pages in a row and it never remembers this and always defaults back to 1. The other thing I hate is opening all new files in the same window - I regularly grab a page(s) from one pdf and drag into the other pdf and now I have…

  10. I am in adobe acrobat signed in under my account, but adobe is still asking me to sign in upper right hand corner. Clicked and signed in 5 times trying to authenticate to be able to sign a document. Each time it says that I am signed in to my account, but the widget still says sign in instead of my name and my saved signature is not there

  12. My professors take out certain parts of their powerpoints so students have to go to class to be able to fill in the PDF of the powerpoints. But, sometimes, I need to fill in equations but there is no way to add them like you can in Microsoft's equation editor.

  13. I work for the Federal government and was issued a copy of Adobe Acrobat DC. I have Adobe Flash Player 27 Active X and 27 NPAPI as well as Adobe Reader XI(11.02.21) installed on our system. I am having problems combining Adobe forms, I feel as if there are some radio buttons missing in order for this task to be completed. the page I singled out is blank, it should not be, there is data on that page. The 2 documents are not combined after hitting the COMBINE button, they are still two separate documents. Can you please advise if…

    Can you share the versions of Acrobat|Outlook you are using.
    Also check if the file: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 2015\Acrobat\PDFPrevHndlr.dll” is present on your machine, if not please repair your product,

  17. I just want to be able to quickly and easily select the "hand" tool or the "select" tool. One minute it's in the tool bar - the next minute it's not. I cannot work out the logic for when they do (or don't) appear or - more importantly - how to make them a permanent fixture in the tool bar.
