  4. Since the newest update, the send feature now requires a few more mouse clicks. Before the newest update, it was a one click send feature which myself and my colleagues would agree was much more user friendly than this new feature. I would like to have that brought back.

  5. When printing to PDF, a sound is made when the AcroTray notification pops up stating the PDF has been created. This is extremely annoying to myself and my co-workers and there is no option to turn off the sound. I print to PDF continually throughout the day and there must be some way, other than turning off all notification sounds on my computer, to stop this annoying feature.

  6. A few days ago I began receiving an Acrobat sign-in prompt every time I access one of my Adobe documents. There is no way to make this go away and I have absolutely no interest in ever logging in. The result is that I waste vast amounts of my life saying NO to the login prompt and then having to face it again the next day and the next. I may have to switch to another PDF editor that doesn't torture me this way.

  7. Recently updated DC to version 19.8.20071.303822. Previous version had a button at the bottom of the page that said clear recently viewed files. Now I have to check block each individual PDF and clear them. The last PDF it does not give the option to clear instead it asks about delete. I don't want to delete the file, I just want to clear the screen of recently viewed PDFs of files. Also if I try to select it with the others I want to clear, the clear option disappears, what is up?

  9. If you create custom radio button element in Indesign it will be rendered wrongly on acrobat pro (and reader) if

    Preferences >
    Forms >
"Show border hover color for fields"

    is turned on.

Once you turn that setting off, acrobat renderes the form element as expected.

Attached indd, pdf and two screenshots to demonstrate the behaviour

  11. This is a bug report for Acrobat Pro 2017.

When creating a new form "button" with an icon appearance, it is not possible to select the first page of a multi-page PDF as the icon image.

    • Create a new button field
    • In the Properties dialog box for the button choose the Options tab
    • Choose "Icon only" from the layout dropdown list
    • Click the Choose Icon button and select a multi-page PDF
    • Try to select the first page of the PDF as the icon image.
    • Only the 2nd or later page can actually be selected (even though the first page will…

    Hello,

    Thanks for reporting this issue.

But we are not able to reproduce this issue at our end.
Thus please let us know your Acrobat version and OS details.

Moreover, are you facing this issue for every file? If not, share the sample file.

    Thanks,
    Gaurav

  12. Like many users I was caught off guard by the automatic October 2018 update that significantly changed things (for the worse, as usual). I wasn't even aware that Acrobat had automatic updates turned on! All the other CC apps simply notify you via Creative Cloud when an update is available, and I choose whether or not to install it. Why is Acrobat different?

Apps from other companies have a prominent dialog during initial install that asks whether you want to install updates automatically or not. I don't recall ever seeing this type of notice for Acrobat.

    At the very least,…

  14. When making a document ready for review in the new Acrobat DC 19.8, if I want to add people from my contact book, the program crashes immediately when pressing the button.

Every time, even when just booted up.

I added my error in the following text.

  18. When I insert or replace or add, I want it to say in the Comments box that this particular task is being done, as it used to. When I have deleted something, nothing at all appears in the box except an ambiguous icon. How is the person reading the comment supposed to know what was done?

  19. Cloud based digital IDs are getting common, convenience (applicable for use between different devices), cheaper and my desire feature - 2 factor OTP (One-Time Password). Why Acrobat Pro DC does not allows cloud based digital IDs? I don't feel there's a competition to Adobe Sign if this is included. More importantly, tag line for Acrobat is "complete PDF solution", it will be ridiculous to switch between 2 Adobe software just for signing with cloud based digital ID.

P.S.: Took me quite a while to realize the difference between token/certificate digital ID and cloud based digital ID. My effort was wasted…

  20. A customer explained that he opened a document shared for review in Acrobat. He was working with a colleague who was adding comments in the same review on the web. While comments were syncing periodically, he wanted the option to manually check for new comments in addition.
