Change background screen from gray to color in Comments panel
When selecting edits in the Comments panel with the new 2019 Acrobat Pro DC, the background of an active comment is in a light gray screen. My previous versions of Acrobat Pro displayed selected comments in a light color, which made them easier to read and locate when working on a document that has hundreds/thousands of comments. This should be added as a global preference option in the Comments panel.
1 voteIn the latest update of Acrobat DC, we have modernize the commenting experience and at the same time, made it very clean and intuitive to use.
As part of this update, we have changed the background color of the active comment as dark grey color to differentiate from other comments.
On hovering other comments, the background color of the comment changes to light grey to bring the comment in focus. However we will consider your suggestion for future updates.

Where is the "detect pen hardware" checkbox?
Where did the "auto detect pen hardware to enable markup" go? It was in preferences/commenting/making comments. Without this feature acrobat is worthless for commenting on a touch screen with a stylus. I can't imagine anyone would think it was a good idea to remove, hopefully it is just located somewhere else. Also note, STOP CHANGING the UI!!! This is the last issue I will ever try to resolve. I am sick of having to google how to undo new "features". In the future I will simply move on to a more consistent software.

Open comment>Right Click>Add Checkmark
Please also note that both the sort and filter options are available for the check mark.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and will consider adding the check mark by default for future updates of Acrobat DC.However there is one workaround to make the checkbox appear in one step by using the keyboard shortcut SHIFT + K .

Adobe default prints to pdf instead of printer.
Allow users to set the default printer to an actual physical printer rather than having Adobe continually default to "printing" to pdf. Multiple times a day I have to "re-set" my printer preference from "PDF" to the physical printer. After a few hundred times, I find myself deeply irritated with Adobe engineers and designers.

Leave my program setup the way I left it in the previous version!
I set up my tool bar the way I like it, the way it works best for me. You want to add buttons that I don`t want. Like Share. I don't need it. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of it to clean up my tool bar.
If you have something new that might be handy for some, just give us one of your annoying start-up suggestions for 'what's new' and then leave us to decide whether we want it or not.

Unable to convert files to pdf
I purchased the Adobe PDF Pack in August 2018 but now, each time I try to convert a file, I get a message saying that my trial has expired and I must buy to continue. Please tell me how to fix this or return the money I paid. Thank you.

Maintain file size with comments
Saving simple comments (text box, etc.) to pdf files increases the file size 1+ MB. Chat Support checked into this for a couple hours and could only verify this was happening. Please fix this bug ASAP.

Hotkeys for highlighter and highlighter color
Hey could you guys make a shortcut for highlighting on PDFs that would be GREAT HELP! This is for Adobe Reader DC. There is no shortcut for highlighter and highlighter color. It would make reading PDFs faster, more interactive, and easier to read especially on Desktop/Laptops.

Creative Cloud
Low internet connections compromise the efficient use of applications. Can you allow a connection to CC each time we open applications to approve our user licenses and then log off to work offline? I'm experiencing fixed bugs between InDesign and Acrobat DC 2019 when exporting to PDF from InDesign and abnormal work delays in InDesign. Uninstalling applications and reinstalling them as suggested by your customer service does not change the problem. This suggestion is a waste of time.

Checkbox for comments on a shared review
In the Send for review there doesn't seem to be a checkbox in the dropdown only resolve. Why is this different to reviewing a normal pdf with comments? Even shift K doesn't work to add a tick. Shouldn't commenting be the same across the board in acrobat whether you are just opening a pdf or opening a shared review?

Load Google Contacts only Once (for Sharing PDF's Faster)
I set up my Acrobat DC to use my Google Contacts as default contacts when sharing PDF's. I have around 1,000 Google Contacts.
Each time I press the contacts search button to select contacts with whom to share a PDF, Acrobat loads and parses all the contacts. It is slow.
Instead, load the contacts once. Allow some method (a button?) for re-loading if the user (me) thinks the data needs to be refreshed.

Add "Comment" features in toolbar to "Send for Review"
The new "Send for Review" feature is fantastic! But it would be EVEN BETTER if it included all the features (Such as "insert text" and "replace text" the stamps feature, and even inserting an audio recording, for some examples. Not

Make Adobe Acrobat 100% ADA compliant so Blind users can actually use it
Currently, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is not 100% ADA compliant. Specifically, one cannot create or edit PDFs if one uses a screen reader to navigate around their computer screen (i.e. is blind/visually impaired). I currently use JAWS 2018, Windows 10, and have Acrobat Pro DC. I've attempted to create and edit from combining PDFs, using copies, etc. I've even tried using some of your tutorial items to test with and have had the same results (ex. Bodea's Brochure -- the brochure your website tutorial has specifically for practicing editing).

20080 Action Lists no longer can save to folder
The Action Wizards that are custom setup can no longer save to a pre-specified folder.
Previously action would save to a designated folder when "Save to Local Folder" was the option.
It no longer saves at all even though the operation is checked.
What should happen is it should be saved in the folder specified as previously.
I'm running MacOS 10.14 and using Acrobat 20080 on a MacBook Pro.
1 voteFor saving the file to a particular folder you can click on File menu > save as.
The popup opens up now select ‘choose a different folder..’
Now you can save your file to your desired location.
