Error in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro Installer
I download the acrobatproDC_dlm disk image on my Macbook Pro running 10.12.5 using the Chrome browser.
This download proceeds normally. After mounting the disk image and starting the installer app, it fails as 29% saying: "Safari must be closed in order to proceed". This comes up in a dialog box with Retry and Close buttons. Retry always fails with the same error message. Close, of course, closes the installer.
The trouble is that Safari is not running!
I finally figured out that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC was running and this was the cause of the installation failure.
Please correct the…

Comments and Annotations need marching ants
In previous versions of Acrobat, it was a LOT easier to see which comment on a page was selected. There sue to be marching ants. Now, there is just a thin blue line that doesn't march. Please bring back the marching ants so it's easier to see what is selected. Our eyes aren't getting any younger!

The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available
I have filled up a form using Foxit Reader. When I tried to open the form with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC I got error "The document enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document".
I tried some other PDF programs, no issue when opening this form.

Shortcut for Create PDF from Scan
Create shortcut on Home page to "Create PDF from Scan". A lot of users primarily use Acrobat to create pdfs from paper. It shouldn't take 4 mouse clicks to get this done. Also, there is now no way to use keyboard shortcuts to effect a scan. Alt-F-R-S is as far as one can go because the new blue Scan button does not have a keyboard shortcut.

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC should work as Acrobat Reader after 7 day trial
I think Adobe Acrobat Pro DC should work as Acrobat Reader after the trial period ends. This way, like in my case, people that want to buy a monthly subscription on and off can still use it as Acrobat Reader and don't need to install Acrobat Reader separately.

Feature request: Resize page feature
I don't know how this happened, but I exported a print out of a web page that was sized at 8.5x11 as a PDF, and when I opened the PDF in Adobe DC, somehow the page size turned into 13.17x16.78, and now when I print the PDF, it cuts out everything on the page that is outside of the 8.5x11 paper size. I have been trying and trying to just resize the PDF to 8.5x11, but I can't find this feature anywhere - and I've really been looking hard! So if there was a way you could add a feature…

how to improve adobe acrobat dc
I have been using adobe acrobat pro 9 for over 10 years, and recently I have to switch over to acrobat DC, and find it bizarre.
1. First, the user interface has been completely redesign, not allowing one to switch back to the previous UI.
2. Also, I find the number of key strokes needed to do a simple task, has greatly increase. I do a lot of cut-and-paste with my old acrobat, and it was convenient. With the new DC, after finally figure out how to do it, it involves a lot more key strokes. A regression!

Support Installations and Upgrades on macOS Case-Sensitive Volumes
This request is being submitted at the suggestion of Adobe Support which was unable to provide effective support for Case Nº 0189220198. Of the 252 applications currently installed on our macOS Sierra system, only Acrobat Pro XI cannot be reinstalled or upgraded because the storage volumes are formatted as case-sensitive. The previously case-insensitive system volume on which Acrobat Pro XI version 11.0.20 had previously been installed was converted to a case-sensitive format. This was done by imaging the volume as a DMG file using Disk Utility, and then after reformatting as case-sensitive, the volume was restored using the ditto command…

BUG: multiple actions assigned to keyboard shortcut ~
Currently, typing ~ is assigned in Acrobat to BOTH "insert text at cursor" AND "output preview." It is completely unpredictable which action will result when I type ~.
I need to be able to bring up the "insert text a cursor" function without having to mouse all over the place.
Please fix this bug.

Allow Send For Signature Signed Forms to be Returned to a Separate single Email Address
We currently have an Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Team Account with 2 users. We will be adding more users once we are more familiar with how this will work for us as a company.
One problem that we have is that when our Employee1 sends an Adobe Form to a customer A using "Send for Signature", once Customer A signs the form, the signed form is returned to Employee1's email address that is registered with "Manager Your Team"
When Employee 2 sends an Adobe Form to a customer B using "Send for Signature", once Customer B signs the form, the…

Add tutorial to add an index to a book. Your instructions for it are WAY TOO VAGUE.
I have been trying to add an index for a 278 page book in PDF. I spent an hour on the phone to tech support in India and no one there seems to know how to do this.
I also need to be able to VIEW it and install it into this PDF to publish it. PLEASE add a tutorial on how this is done, step by step, without CLOUDING the issue with terms like "catalog" and "metatdata" that do NOT contribute to the objective.

Please try if this helps: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/creating-pdf-indexes.htmlThanks

Acrobat DC (Pro and Strandard) crashes because of memory usage
When using large files, like the attached one, Acrobat crashes when it reaches a memory usage of more than aprox. 3.500 MB in Windows Task Manager.
I could reproduce the issue, just by opening the page miniatures and a little scolling. It happens on different computers with 8 or 16GB RAM installed and with different Acrobat versions (DC Standard, DC Pro, XI Standard)
The reason for the memory usage are probably the pictures in these files.23 votesThanks for reporting the crash. We are able to reproduce it with your files. We will work on a fix soon. Will let you know once available.
