  1. After sending a request for e-signature, there is no provision to edit a wrongly entered email address especially if the document is to be signed by many people and the wrong address is in the middle of the signing order. Attempts to edit are thwarted by the restriction of "this document has been signed and cannot be edited"! If the document is still being e-signed and not completed, editing should be allowed and if a signed member's signature has been interfered with, then a notification should be sent to that member to verify before the document is finalized. Currently, I…

  3. On macOS we can set our own shortcuts to most application using the System Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts> Application Shortcut tab.

This is a basic accessibility requirement to my mind, and if it doesn't exist already, it needs to exist.

But there needs to be Menu Bar commands in the Acrobat Menus to actually hook to that function in the first place. Far as I can tell Acrobat doesn't have menu commands to do that.

All the other Adobe apps I use in Creative Cloud suite (most of them) have a a command for that (shortcut "`"/"~" keys) but I…

  4. All I want to do is:
    - Combine PDFs
    - Remove pages
    - Rotate pages
    - Basic editing

I'm not going to spend $450 USD on Acrobat Standard, and I'm certainly not going to waste money on a yearly subscription for a product I only use a few times a month.

If an "Acrobat Lite" version were offered for $150 USD or less, I would purchase it, but since they don't, Adobe makes $0 off me.

  5. New Acrobat GUI with controls on left > Scan & OCR > Correct recognized text > previously could begin typing into "Recognized as" field. Now have to click into field before beginning typing. And previously could hit "Enter" to Accept but now have to click on Accept. New GUI is much more time consuming having to use mouse. Please return putting keyboard entry control into first character of "Recognized as" field and allow Enter key to do "Accept". Thanks.

  6. While using the Organize pages feature, the icon "Organize Pages" will get stuck in the middle of my screen. I will then have to have task manager kick out Acrobat and restart the application. See attachment:

  7. Hello,

I'd like to report an issue with the Adobe Acrobat Chrome extension.

The following describes the usage of Chrome's search side panel feature: searching for something via the address bar, selecting one of the search results, and then clicking on the Google icon in the address bar with the hover-over text "Open search in side panel". This opens a side panel showing the search results (a bit of an odd design for the feature in my opinion, but whatever) in addition to the main area containing the current web page.

The issue is that as the side panel appears…

  8. Is there no way to properly display the page number labels in the "Go to a specific page number" box (the circled area of the attached screenshot)? For example, I'm on page ix, which is properly labelled ix (as shown in the Pages panel), but the box shows "9" rather than "ix". (I do realize this is because it's the ninth literal page in the file.) Then if I actually go to page 9, that gets displayed as "21". Although, note that I'd have to scroll away from page ix in order to type "9" in that box and actually…

  9. Hundreds of thousands of businesses use flowcharting software (such as draw.io, Visio, LucidChart, etc.) that allows you to create HORIZONTAL flowcharts, project management swim lanes, and more.

Unfortunately, Acrobat currently only allows VERTICAL "Single Page Continuous" scrolling in the Page Layout options.

For multipage horizontal documents, it's hard to track the right side of the previous page with the left side of the current page.

I'm proposing an additional Page Layout option called "Single Page Continuous Horizontal" (and maybe rename the current option to "Single Page Continuous Vertical) that allows us to scroll HORIZONTALLY through ALL pages in a document.

  10. When printing to Adobe PDF printer driver we can use custom page sizes. However, the driver software is not allowing to add pages smaller than one inch (if only one dimension is smaller than one inch - the definition is not possible).

If there is a reason of not supporting a small pages, it should be published and documented. Also, when adding custom pages smaller than one inch there should be a warning or error messages displayed. The existing page definitions should not be automatically deleted.

  11. The "every business day" reminder is too aggressive, and the "every other day" reminder annoys people also during their weekends.

I think we need an "every other business day" reminder to avoid the above-mentioned issues.

  12. Acrobat is not working with BPDX files to update a search index.
I call acrobat.exe with a bpdx file passed as an argument, acrobat launches,
and then the window appears as it did before attempting to update the index.

However, when I manually run the pdx file it updates the index without issue.
How can I resolve this issue?

  13. When editing previously created PDFs, the user should be able to drag a text box full of text over another to combine them. The user should be prompted as to how the text should be joined. Options should include append at the end, insert at the beginning, and insert at the selected point. This should be able to be done across different pages and perhaps between documents.

  14. When opening a workflow the first section you see is the "How this workflow works" section; however this is collapsed by default. Given that the sole purpose of this information is to instruct the user on how they should use the workflow it would be more appropriate for this to be expanded as default and to be more prominent on the page with the ability to collapse if they wish. As it stands at the moment it is very easy to miss.

  17. After signing the document for all, the system shows the message "Document was updated after signing”, But the message "Document was updated after signing" is confuse, there has been no change in document, the annotation is created by AdobeSign itself. But with this message our partners are questioning, how can a document be changed after signature. Is it possible change or alter this message for "Document was uploaded after signing"?

  18. Just fix the totally screwed up s pile you have made of my adobe files which I can no longer open, attach to emails or send to dropbox. I have one file which is large 10 MB but which was fine two years ago. it represents two months of a building design which I now require and which will not open. Same story with numerous other files as well. Thanks for nothing. I will spend a small fortune now paying a tech to sort this spile out. Your unrequested update a year or so ago totally f'd my adobe files…

  19. There needs to be an option to change the default option from "sign in order" to "sign in any order".

In our operational workflows we never use the sign in order function and have to constantly change it before sending out a request for signatures. If this step is missed we have to resend the entire document as it is not allowed to be edited after the fact. This is fine but give us the option to make "complete in any order" by default.

  20. The message which is shown when users are not signed in to Acrobat or do not have a license of the selected feature they are clicking on, is confusing many users. This leads to many calls at our Service Desk Hotline. It would help a lot to change the text to explain that the user does not have access to this feature because it seems that he/she does not have a license or is not signed in with his license. In case that a license is available please Sign in.
