  5. This adobe document cloud is completely worthless and is slowing my computer down at boot up on the bus (when I don't have an internet connection) Notice how I haven't ever used this cloud service, and I never intend to. Google docs was out in 2005 and doesn't slow down my computer down at boot. Please address your inadequacy or provide the option for me to disable your "service".

  6. Acrobat DC recently started to crash every time I open two PDFs. It just closes all the windows without showing any error messages.
Uninstalling and reinstalling did not help. I assume this is associated with some recent update, since this bug started to appear in the last one month. Would anybody know how to fix this?

  8. 2019.008.20080 / MacOS 10.14.1

Since recent acrobat update, software is near unusable. Constant 30 second pauses (beachball), cannot add text to simple, single page documents.
Using Acrobat since v3, so I know my way around...

Thankfully Illustrator 2019 provides a workaround.

  9. Adobe Acrobat DC frequently closes unexpectedly. Not predictable. Happens with many different files, both single page and multipage documents. Happens at various times in use: first opening file, opening a second file, scrolling through document, highlighting, adding comment, … Program just closes, no freezing, just close and all changes lost. Frequency - multiple times a day. No change from using only one document or having nearly all other programs closed. Occurs when connected to power or just on battery, at all power settings of laptop, at all times of day, and even after computer reboots. Nothing appears to prevent this.…

  10. There should be a keyboard shortcut for the "Fit one full page to window" button. I use this button every time I open a PDF (usually because the document settings are set to one-page continuous, my application settings are already set to one page).

  11. DUPLICATE SUBMISSION WITH ATTACHMENT EXAMPLES
The Acrobat Reader DC basic version has a very helpful "Save as" function where it brings up a user friendly window with 4-5 recently used folders, as well as the option to then browse further for another folder if needed. the Adobe Acrobat DC PRO version has a very different, very limited "save as" usability, where it defaults to a temp internet folder (that i cannot even find), which i will almost certainly never use as well. As far as i can tell there is no way to set a different default save as location…

    Hi,

If you wish to see the Save As dialog in Acrobat as per the “Save as ok” image shared by you, Kindly do as follows.
    1) Open Acrobat → Edit → Preferences → General
    2) Select the Checkbox “Show online storage when Saving files”

Try to Save as any pdf and check that you’ll see this dialog.
Let me know if that solves your concern.

Also please let me know the current version of Acrobat DC that you are using.

  13. Document made in Acrobat Pro DC 2018 and sent for review.
Came back with multiple comments. Those of them that got fixed got marked. Then I could come back later and show only unmarked comments. It works just fine in 2018 version. But with New Acrobat Pro DC 2019.008.20080 it does not work. As soon as i click on the filter button to sort the comments the whole Acrobat gets jammed. I have tried several times, also restarted computer. So there must be something wrong here.

    Hi ,
Thanks for reaching out to us. We regret the inconvenience caused to you.
We have tried at our end to reproduce the issue but we are unable to do so.
Can you provide the review link of the review file or a local copy of the review file with all the comments to investigate further ?

  14. I set up my tool bar the way I like it, the way it works best for me. You want to add buttons that I don`t want. Like Share. I don't need it. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of it to clean up my tool bar.

If you have something new that might be handy for some, just give us one of your annoying start-up suggestions for 'what's new' and then leave us to decide whether we want it or not.

  15. See: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2553080 for full details

/GoToR links that point to named destinations in a different document should respect the destination zoom properties.

ie If we have a named destination on target.pdf /D1 defined as /XYZ destination: page 2, x: 0, y:0, z:0 or null, then when a user clicks a /GoToR link to open /D1 on source.pdf with 250% zoom, the target document should be opened at 250% zoom.

This bug is reproducible both on OSX and Windows 10.

  17. Through the several different iterations of Acrobat Pro DC the Enhance Deskew tool has never generated professionally straight and page-aligned results. So always have to revert to Acrobat X Pro Text Recognition Tool that consistently generates beautifully straight and page-aligned results. If the old program can do the job then why can't the new one? Very Frustrating.

  18. Our organization uses SharePoint Online provided through Office 365 hosting. SharePoint is the primary location to store files.

It's possible to use Acrobat to open documents from SharePoint, edit them and save those changes back to the SharePoint server.

If we open a new PDF with Acrobat, then attempt to save over an existing file on our SharePoint server, we encounter the following error:

Adobe Acrobat could not access the network. Please verify your computer's network connection and try again.

There are workarounds to this problem, but it would be useful to our users if Acrobat would simply save the…

  20. Not an idea! A complaint

Each month I get one report, extract each Account Managers pages and email them to them individually. With the new update I have to save each PDF before I can email it? Who's bright idea was that? Takes twice as long to send reports now. Not to mention I don't need them once I've sent them off. Now I have to delete everything I've saved. UGH!
