  1. Please add the Pinning of Bookmarks/Pages on the left hand pannel to Adobe Professional DC (Classic).
We have end users who scan thousands of pages a day and find this to be an unacceptable waste of time.

  3. One of our clients is experiencing issues with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. We have an Internet Explorer/ActiveX application in which a user can view PDF files through Internet Explorer's 'Adobe PDF Reader' ActiveX control.

When the user closes the control, Acrobat DC's AcroRd32.exe will close a moment later. If the user opens another PDF document too quickly after closing the first one, this new instance of AcroRd32.exe will not shut down properly even after closing the control.

Adobe Reader DC does not have this issue, but there it appears related to the 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' checkbox under 'Security…

    Hi

You can try the following –
Go to Organize Pages App to move the pages you want to see next to each other.
Then go to View→Display Options and select Two pages.

Please let us know if this works for you.

    Thanks
    Vivek

Sorry for the inconvenience, can you please share your machine details, Acrobat version, and also the pdf with which you are facing the issue.

  6. in the new versions of Adobe, the browse for folder function - to open or save a file - is useless. Contrast it to every other conventional windows application, looking more like Windows Explorer where you can easily navigate to a folder, subfolder, file - but in Adobe, it immediately requires scrolling down, then selecting, scrolling down more, selecting a subfolder, etc.

  10. It would be good to have some sort of solution/ patch/ workaround/ update to prevent Google DocHub from being able to edit locked forms. I've noticed that by dropping an adobe pdf into DocHub does a few things:
    1. Even if document password protected to prevent editing it is easily editable and doesnt seem to honor those security settings
    2. When document is locked after signing DocHub allows all the previously fillable fields to be edited while still retaining the original signature
    3. even if a fillable form is converted to flattened copy, once dropped into DocHub all the fillable…

  11. I just installed CS6 Design & Web Premium but Acrobat Pro fails to install - period. I've tried 4 times now with the same failure (see attached screenshot). The website says I have 90 days of "Chat and Phone support" - but the support website is in an infinite loop - you never get a button to "chat" and no phone number is ever offered. How do I get help getting this installed?

  13. These two icons do 2 completely different functions from one another. They have appeared the same for ages now. I think it is finally time to create a new Icon look for one or the other. Having both on my quick tools is rather daunting because they look exactly the same.

Open a file in a Mac OS application.
Click the PDF button and choose Save As Adobe PDF.
Choose the Adobe PDF Settings and click Continue.
Type a name for your file, and click Save.

  15. Often I'll have 5-10 documents open at once - they are constantly in use. When I close Acrobat they are all closed. and when I re open Acrobat I need to reopen all the documents. It would be nice if it would veryt simply open all of the files open when it was last closed.

  16. This is a bug report.

    In macOS,
'language' of application and OCR language have to be the same.
    Otherwise it won't work.

    In Windows,
    this bug doesn't exist.

    Details are discussed as following.

  17. Please stop sending out emails that say it is quick and easy to edit a PDF without qualifying what is possible and what the consequences are. I have several clients who now think it is possible to edit PDFs, but the reality is that it is NOT possible to do so professionally.

The end result of clients editing PDFs is that version control is lost from the original files that generated the PDF, artwork needs to be recreated to match the edited PDF and because there appears to be no way of tracking what the client has changed, the clients…

We apologise for the issue you are facing. We are however not able to reproduce it.

Can you please try the following steps and let us know your results:
    1. On Desktop, sign out from Reader/Acrobat
    2. On Mobile, sign in with your Adobe id, create a signature/initials and wait for sometime (for signature to sync). Try to sign a simple PDF document
    3. On Desktop, launch Reader/Acrobat, sign in now, open a PDF and go to Fill &Sign app. Open a simple PDF and try to add signature/initials now. Do you still not see the signature created on mobile? Please let us know

    Thanks

  19. The user interface is quite challenging, because it takes a bit to load each time I want to do something. I may want to edit, create a form, and do drawing markups on a single file.

Please provide an option for me to display all the tools I want to use in a single screen.

    1. Bug When Converting Font to Outlines
    2. Open PDF and run Convert Fonts to Outlines under Print Production then Preflight
    3. macOS 10.12.5
    4. Fonts should be converted to outlines
    5. Fonts are not converted when opening PDF in Illustrator

PDF files from InDesign do not seem to be affected. It looks like only PDFs created from Illustrator do not convert fonts to outlines.
