  2. PA-LEASE! Turn off the "Renew Now" and "Activate" notifications. Our IT takes care any upgrade$, so I have no use for these time-burglar Notifications! Every other time I attempt to "Combine Files in Acrobat" (which I perform multiple times each day), one of these notifications pops up and I have to close it and close out of Acrobat Adobe and try again from my Explorer folder.   3. The design of Adobe currently makes you click twice to view a pdf whenever more than one pdf is currently opened in Adobe. This is because Adobe has been designed with windows to recognize each pdf as another window of the program. Windows does this with all programs like chrome, excel, explorer etc. However, adobe is a paper viewer/editor program and all opened pdfs should be coded as tabs under one program because the primary purpose is for viewing. Other programs like excel are for input, explorer for browsing and opening, but adobe is for viewing and the pdfs should…

  4. The e-signature process is not user friendly for two main reasons:

    1) Once you have uploaded all signers and receivers and moved to indicate where to sign I have not found a way to go back to add a signer if I forgot one

    2) If you have partially completed your e-signature form and have to move to another task it is impossible to save your partial work. For a complex form, this is very inconvenient. This is made even more so as after a certain time of inactivity, the system deletes all changes.

  5. I work in Prepress and preflight hundreds of PDFs. We use Pitstop to outline all fonts. The problem is, Acrobat does not auto-activate fonts. In order to outline fonts properly, we have to open the PDF file, see what fonts are used, quit Acrobat, activate the fonts needed, and finally, reboot Acrobat. This is tedious and very time consuming.

    If other Adobe products can auto-activate fonts, why can't Acrobat?

  8. I have a Microsoft Surface Book 3 & Surface pen. Adobe DC used to automatically recognise my pen for markup, and I used my finger to scroll.
    about 3-6 months ago, I lost this ability. (yes, "Auto detect pen hardware to enable markup" is ticked in preferences)

    At the moment, the pen only works like a second mouse.

    So far, I have removed and re-installed Adobe. Auto pen detection did work for 1 PDF but stopped working again.
    I've also re-installed the pen drivers, but this has not helped.

    Auto detect pen for markup works perfectly okay in Microsoft Apps…

  9. Delay delivery of documents would be a big value add for Adobe Sign. Presently, the only solution is to create documents in advance and save them to your Drafts. This is not a great solution and still creates the need to go to Drafts on the day/time you wish to send to push out the agreement instead of having it automatically delivered at a pre-selected day/time.

  10. Would like to have the ability to send agreements which have been curated directly from the Drafts within Manage documents. Currently, if you need to send an agreement from your Drafts you need to go through the "Edit Agreement" functionality, which when you have more than just a few agreements can be time-consuming.

  12. MacBook Pro: Chip Apple M1 Pro, Memory 16 GB, MacOS Ventura 13.0.1 Acrobat has a particular performance drop when using the form boxes. At my work we are provided with a PDF file with fill boxes we need to use to write our weekly plans.   13. On M1 Macs, the latest versions of Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat cause problems from time to time. It is then no longer possible to double-click PDFs in the Finder. The programs still seem to work. Usually only a restart of the programs helps. Some of them work again after 10 minutes. The problem occurs mostly when accessing server shares, rarely when opening local PDFs. macOS is Monterey.

  16. Lets say I have a pdf file called ABC.pdf that has 3 pages. I want to extract this file into 3 separate PDF files with each one page. This can be easily achieved by the split tool as I demonstrated to the sport technician as well. This issue is complicated by output file names.

    The solution I am looking for is that I want the output files to be named in a specific manner, say I want to call them TT001, TT002, TT003. In other words I want to define a naming schema for the files with

Bug report - multiple times when I have more than one PDF open (separate windows) and attempt to close ALL documents by right-mouse-clicking on the Adobe tab in the taskbar, AND if I've made changes to a document and not saved it, the whole program freezes up and I need to force the program to end.

  18. The new changes have messed everything up. It makes editing very frustrating. Specifically adding text to the pdf. It worked very well before, but now it is a mess. I can't add text where I want. It's too easy to accidentally drag existing text around and alter the form. The font size has to be changed for every text box, because it goes back to the tiny default size. The line spacing is no longer easy to adjust, and it doesn't save your preference. It's awful. PLEASE change it back.

  19. When comparing two pdfs, identical text will be marked as changes if footnotes have changed location (by changed I just mean bumped to the bottom of a different page due to increased or decreased length, even though the marker is the same place in the text).

    This is a function of the fact that Adobe sees footnotes as part of the text and so thinks the ordering of the text has changed.

    This is related to the issue where Adobe does not maintain footnote status of smaller text at the bottom of a page (often under a line) when exporting…
