1. Form Tabs - Field Skip

   Please allow skipping fields on forms for tabbing. We have "Office Use Only" fields we want to skip when users fill out forms and other redundant or calculated fields. Please add an option to remove fields from tabbing.

2. Allow resizing of side panel (tab order, etc.)

   Please allow resizing/expansion of the side panel used for formatting and tab order, etc. There is a horizontal scroll bar on the bottom, but if you have longer field names, it is inconvenient to have to scroll back and forth. For those with wider monitors, this should be expandable horizontally or a pop-out window that is expandable.

3. STUPID LOGIN

   So, I was flying today on plane without WIFI and could not proof my work because Acrobat was needing to connect. What happened? Acrobat shuts down. This is my first time ever posting here but have been using Acrobat for over 20 years. My thoughts? When in the air, give us 3-4 hours of free time to get our **** done. STUPID ADOBE!

   My succinct thoughts! Thanks for letting 5 hours get away from me today whilst traveling. No, I am not British, just using a big fancy word! Stupid program now but I am stuck jumping through hoops to work.

4. When I open PDF I cannot see text in completed fillable form

   When I open a completed fillable form all I can see are the adobe digital signatures. I cannot see any of the text typed in the fillable fields. When I look at it in print preview or page thumbnails the text is visible so I know the form has been completed. All I can see is an empty blue box where the info should be. I installed a Creative Cloud update today (prompted from Adobe) and this is the first PDF I have opened since the update, not sure if related.

5. Signatures can not be verified (BUG)

   We are currently experiencing a problematic issue concerning validating signatures in PDF files created with Adobe PRO. We are using a third party platform that places the signatures (3 signers) and its audittrail into the PDF with a Hash. All signings are placed succesfully but after i download the file again it will not validate the signatures because the file has been changed according to Adobe. This, however, is not the case and Foxit PDF does succesfully validate the signatures. After some research we have learned that Adobe registers a change between the placing the last signature and the time stamp. This is one single action so this is simply not possible. We have contacted our PDF rendering company and they have discovered that this is most likely a bug in your software or it is expecting different and or more information in the hash file. We however can not find what that is. This issue has emerged since your most rescent Adobe PRO release.This problem does not occur when we print a file (docx. for example) to PDF. This issue ONLY happens when we use Adobe PRO and not when we use Acrobat Reader.

6. Can't Combine PDF's

   I can't combine PDF files into one document. I'm combining several pages that are in the same layout with different information. It changes all of the data in later pages to the same as the first one! Why would I want multiples of the same page? I don't want a portfolio I want to combine the multiple pages.

   This used to be fine, why can it no longer be done??

7. Stamp Tool

   A dynamic date stamp tool that does NOT show the user's name and also does NOT show the time would be very helpful especially now while working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. My physical custom date stamper is in the office. We need a date but do not need my name or the time stamped on documents we receive. I was asked this morning to remove an Acrobat date stamp because management does not want my name on the date stamp.

9. for 2 days Acrobat Reader Pro ask me to login --did not need to previously

   For 2 days in a row i have to provide my login when I restart / start Adobe Reader Pro for which I have a Cloud Subscription.
   After doing so.. I get the message taht it is now LIcensed on my account... (but it was already so.. for the last year ++)

   It there something you have changed? If so -- repair.

   Or tell me how to provide this information in such a way that it will remember it.

10. Digitally Sign - Add preview when drawing rectangle

    When using the Digitally Sign tool the first step is to blindly draw a rectangle to indicate where to place the signature. Unfortunately the user is not given an indication of what the signature will look like until after the document is signed. Signatures solely composed of "Text" will have the text fit into whatever rectangular shape that was drawn (which is usually ok); however, signatures composed of "Images" will shrink the image to maintain it's aspect ratio and then center the image in the rectangle, this results in smaller signatures offset to the right from the insertion point. This often returns unacceptable results.

    I suggest that the tool to should use a workflow similar to the "Sign" tool. The user is presented with the stored Digital Signature "Appearance" options. The user chooses the "Appearance" and then is prompted to place and scale the visible signature with a preview. Afterwards the user progresses through the options of Locking and entering Pin/password.

11. Deleting contracts is too difficult

    There should be an easier way to delete un-wanted contracts. Sometimes you may have made a contract on accident or maybe you no longer want that contract on file. When this happens you shouldn't have to jump thru hoops do simply delete an Adobe sign document. Like every other program in the world, there should be a delete option that pops up with a simple right click.

12. LaTeX + Drawboard PDF = Error 18

    I'm using LaTeX (Beamer) to create my files and Drawboard PDF to draw on them. When I open the files with Acrobat, the slides with annotations with them result in Acrobat saying "There was a problem reading this document (18)". I can't even edit and try to save the document:

       Acrobat throws an error on every slide; slide is displayed incorrectly.

13. Keep Tool Selected - we need it back please

    There used to be a great feature where you could click a box to "keep tool selected" so you keep using the same tool, over and over again without clicking on the Icon again and again and again. It was especially useful when reviewing a large document where you wanted to highlight several passages or for adding text, etc.

14. Save presets for cropping pages

    Hi,
    I often use the same presets to crop pages in Adobe (same area to crop) in multiple documents. While I can apply my cropping dimensions to an entire range of pages (all pages, even and odd, odd only, even only, selected page only), I have to repeat the same operation for all the documents I need to crop. It would be extremely convenient if we could add a function to name, save and load cropping profiles exactly like we are able to create printing profiles (in my case, I am using maybe 10 times a day 3 cropping configurations).

15. Add option to Expand/collapse at the comment level

    Acrobat (years ago) had this ability, I believe.

    Currently, we can expand/collapse all comments.
    We can also expand/collapse comments for an entire page.

    Please add an option at the comment level that would expand/collapse the replies to a specific comment.

    When a page has 30 markups, and each markup has 5 replies (yes, this has happened :-)), there are now 150 comments showing in the comment list for just that single page.

    Being able to collapse a comment thread would be a massive improvement in usability of the commenting feature, I believe.

16. Text menus- not hieroglyphics please.

    Text menus should be an option in preferences. Your non-standard hieroglyphics just aren't working for me and I've been using this version for about a year- if I could go back to version nine I would in a heartbeat. You still have the File, Edit, View, Window, Help text menus (don't you dare!). Why not have the other important functions in another text row underneath?

18. Adobe has ruined the experience of working with PDF documents. I will never join a subscription service. There are 3rd party products.

    There are 3rd party products that can do everything I need with PDF documents. Many people want to buy a residence copy of software and not be tied to some high-priced subscription service when only a small fraction of the functions are needed. I hope your business model fails. Don't contacting me because I'm not interested in the corporate BS.

    When a form is filled out and returned, the text does not appear when opened with Adobe. The text does appear when opened with any other app.

20. I just subscribed and am used to older versions. Aside from being extremely blingy, where are the annotative tools? i.e. circle, square, etc

    Annotations; circle, square, line-where are they?
    Way too much bling here
    How do you disable the sign fill boxes-this is super annoying
