I produce this pdf file, so that at a later date i can change the date. I've selected the edit tool in adobe pro and when i start to type in the date i want, the text moves from the bottom of the page to half way up the page. (as you will see from the pdf file attached)
I am doing this on a windows 7 machine.
On the other pages i dont have a problem. The pages of pdf are set up the same way, so I'm unclear as to what the problem is with this page.12 votes
It would be great if we could manage the default location of the directory that adobe auto opens to save a file to. And for opening previously saved files as well.12 votes
Remove the big blue Share button in the menu bar. It gets in the way of my tools and shortcuts. Have no need for a button to share a PDF.11 votes
Get it back like the prior version11 votes
Where did the zoom tools go? They used to be visible in the main tool bar... I mean, I get there are other ways to zoom in and out of my pdf, but why remove such a common functionality? Please bring them back.11 votes
Thanks for Reaching out to us for your concerns.
We have not removed the zoom tools from the main toolbar and those are already there.
I assume you might have undocked the Toolbar so you may be getting a black floating window over the document area which would be having the zoom tools.
I would request you to kindly Dock it back to the Main toolbar by clicking the rightmost icon from that floating window.
Also, if this is not the case i would request you to kindly do a right click on your main toolbar and select “Reset Toolbar” from the context menu. (This way your main toolbar will get back to the default state which would anyways be having the Zoom tools.
Let me know if this fixes your concern
When using large files, like the attached one, Acrobat crashes when it reaches a memory usage of more than aprox. 3.500 MB in Windows Task Manager.
I could reproduce the issue, just by opening the page miniatures and a little scolling. It happens on different computers with 8 or 16GB RAM installed and with different Acrobat versions (DC Standard, DC Pro, XI Standard)
The reason for the memory usage are probably the pictures in these files.11 votes
Thanks for reporting the crash. We are able to reproduce it with your files. We will work on a fix soon. Will let you know once available.
We often need to split a document into a single file per page. We almost NEVER split a document by every two pages.
Having to edit this number each time is redundant. I would like the option to either edit the default "split by" setting (and additionally the output settings) or alternatively have the default be 1 page.11 votes
We have logged an issue for this. We will update you once this issue is prioritized and fixed by the Engineering team.
When you export an interactive PDF from InDesign, form fields that define a font and size do not carry over to the actual PDF and have to be redefined in Acrobat Pro.11 votes
In the previous version you can easly click on the checkbox, because it was in the same row (view) as the comment. Now you have to click twice to click the checkbox. Please make it as it was!10 votes

I have CC full suite and from the day I had to install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC I have been unable to print locally from any open PDF. I have tried multiple fixes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I've updated the printer drivers and had my IT support look at it. And now that this program is embedded in everything, I can't event go back to Acrobat XI. If I'm lucky I can export the PDF as an image or word document and print from there, but if I'm looking at document that's large that is just simply not a valid workaround. In this day and age, this shouldn't even be an issue

Please provide the Acrobat / Reader version installed on your system. Also provide a sample PDF document on which you have observed this issue.
When macs left unattended and Acrobat pro running the application increasing consumes CPU time and memory. Coming in the next morning my machine is extremely slow to respond. This is happening on two mac machines I use.. one Sierra 10.12.6 and one High sierra. Both machine regularly use MS office applications and Saffari and Chrome browsers. Both utilize Mcafee. Acrobat will not close unless being forced to do so.10 votes
Setup is clunky and refuses to accept preference changes. I have found the primary use for Acrobat is to edit documents easily. Acrobat professional is a new layer of stupid that makes this acrobat more difficult an frustrating to use. Good job Adobe, good job.10 votes
The field view is entirely too small to manually edit tab order. This should either be a separate pane or perhaps a pop-out window. I easily have over 100 fields on one page and it's impossible to order them as I need to (by column, within a section or rows of fields). Default tab ordering structures (By Row, By Column) are not useful here. Need more flexibility to set tab order manually.10 votes
when adding another file it goes to the end . In older versions of Acrobat Pro you could sort & re-arrange Portfolio files
tried that workaround where you create a new column in view /portfolio details & edit the values to get the files in the proper order sequence .. bit that is a bit of a kludge & really doesn`t affect the printing order of individual Portfolio files or default view when opening
version 2017.011.30065 Win 7 32 bit & win 10 64 bit10 votes
You can sort the files based on name or other fields in the Portfolio but that would be just for viewing and will not be saved.
Currently there is no mechanism to re-arrange portfolio files.
We have taken your feature request.
Adobe Acorbat Pro DC is so slow it is almost unusable. I am ready to find an other .pdf creator. I have tried every fix found in the forums and nothing has substantially helped.10 votes
The option to clear all the fields on a form has been removed. I have a form that I re-use for various jobs, and now I must manually clear all of the fields in the form in order to fill it out afresh. The deletion of this feature irritates me mightily.10 votes
Ctrl Alt T back please (cropping one page or all pages)
I'm not sure why you took it out, or why you hid it, but I would really like it back! I use it monthly if not weekly for work and it is WAY easier than the new version. Maybe you thought we didn't use it, but we do :-)
I have Acrobat 11, the full version. Please bring it back.

Why can I not change the default font in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro from Minion to what I want? The "J" in Minion looks like an "I" and I have a "J" in my company name which is causing problems because it looks like an "I". I know this has been asked before but why is there no answer. Ugh!9 votes
