  1. When converting, printing, or saving a document to PDF, Adobe Acrobat creates "white margins" on each conversion. To remove the extra margins you have to follow these steps for every document:

    1. Open PDF in Acrobat
    2. Select More Tools
    3. Select Print Production
    4. Select Set Page Boxes
    5. Check Remove White Margins

    This will remove the white margins created by Adobe and use the margins of the original document. I'm told from Adobe Support there isn't a way to permanently set a user preference to prevent adding white margins. Please enable this function as it is currently a pain to have to change…

  2. Please allow html to be created as clickable pdfs on a Mac. The documentation you provide says it can be done on Firefox but that is false. Wasted hours with your support folks before they said it can't be done.

    Thanks for reaching out. We are really sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.
    As much as I understand from your post, you want to convert an HTML document to PDF from browser. It is unclear if the document is a locally saved HTML file or an online URL.

    Unfortunately, local HTML files cannot be converted from browser as Acrobat browser extensions only work for online URLs. So you will have to use Acrobat Create PDF tool to convert the file.
    1. Launch Acrobat.
    2. Go to File→Create→PDF from Web Page.
    3. Click on “Browse” button and select the HTML file to be converted.
    4. Click Create.
    If the converted document is not proper (as mentioned by you), please share a sample HTML file with us so that we can check the issue.

  3. Problem: A PDF-file of 7600 pages. Selecting all even pages in Tools/Manage Pages. Then deleting all even pages except the first or last one. That takes on my iMac with newest DC version over 45 minutes. On a 10 years old PC with Acrobat version 5 it takes less then 3 minutes. That is 15 times faster! This bug needs to be fixed.

    Hi,

    If your Previous session had any PDF’s launched when it was last Closed, then there is a Menu item Under File→ Reopen PDFs from Last Session which will open the pdfs that were launched in your previous session before closing.

    Attaching a snapshot to help you with.

  5. I want to compare signed documents. I don't want to change them - just compare to identify changes. Been beating my head against the wall and I cannot understand the logic that prevents using compare.

    Greetings! I am sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the compare feature.
    It would be great if you could help us with a few queries that will help us in investigating the bug:
    - What is the version of Acrobat Pro and the OS that you are using currently?
    - Could you please share the workflow that you’re using while using the Compare tool?
    - Could you please share some sample files with us so that we could reproduce the issue at our end?

  6. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it doesn't seem to help. PS and LR seem to be fine.
    Creative Cloud via online. New Mac 15 Pro computer. So first time opening Acrobat on here I think.
    Safari Browser 12.11.1
    No updates for MAC or Adobe needed at this time.
    Reliable internet connection.

    Janet,

    Select “Multi-line” and “Scroll Long Text” in “Options” tab of the Properties dialog box for your text field. Also, ensure to widen the width (manually) to allow user to view the content as they type

    And, I have forwarded your request of “Wrap the Text” to engineering. It will be picked up after prioritization.

  9. Text spontaneously disappears after leaving the page and scrolling back to it. The text fields still exists and some letters stay visible, but the other letters have disappeared.

    Can you share with us the acrobat version and the operating system you are using
    Also some sample PDFs with which you are facing this issue.

  10. When attempting to enter a text box in the top RH corner of a document the tool covers the area the document I am editing. Have the tools we want to use permanently displayed

    revert back to version 9 format.

    The workaround for this is to click on the text properties icon bar to hide the properties so that you can easily see the text box.
    Please let us know if this works for you.

    Are you facing this issue only for highlight or for other annots as well ?

    Can you uncheck the commenting preference “Automatically open comment pop-ups for comment other than notes” and try to create another highlight. Please let us know if this resolves the issue for you.

  13. The software is so incredibly buggy - any attempt to share makes the software crash. Cannot share files saved in document cloud or elsewhere, share via e-mail (with outlook Mac) causes crash, share via document cloud causes crash, attempts to access address book to share via native adobe app causes crash. Why can't I just drag files stored in the document cloud into an e-mail or message - this is the easiest way to share. Share/collaboration is literally unusable in acrobat DC - WHY?! Our entire team may have to move away from the entire Adobe platform if this is…

  15. While installing Photoshop and Lightroom today, the installation screen showed that I had an existing install of Acrobat DC. I've never heard of Acrobat DC... so I assumed it must be part of the Acrobat system - and I elected to update the installation by pressing the "update" button. Unbeknownst to me, it uninstalled my Acrobat Pro XI and installed a trial version of Acrobat DC.   17. This was closed, but not actually resolved. Nice Try Adobe! I would like to send a PDF without tracking, received via cloud, etc. Either it can be fixed or not. Putting Resolved on it without the features and benefits of the past is not a fix.

  19. When using the arrows to scroll page by page through a file, the navigation arrows jump back and forth across the top of the page if the length of the page title differs, making it impossible to quickly click through the document without chasing the arrows around. This is a clear oversight and design flaw.

I have a problem, I have PDF pro and I have edited a pdf document, and saved it, then when I copy and try to paste to another pdf document it will not carry over my edited additions to the document. but when i go back and see my edited document my additions are still there, it just wont copy an paste the complete new document

    Are these text? Or are these Form Fields?
