E-signature not working properly
When using a fillable form and requesting an e-signature with the new update, it removes some of my fillable boxes and when it gets sent out it is sent out in a different format then what I had it in.

features are missing
I use features from the classic version such as file attachment, that are not currently available on this version. On the new version we cannot cc a person until the end of the process, but on the classic version we can cc someone at the beginning. We lose the ability to cc someone immediately upon switching from the new to classic. Can the cc option be available to us at the beginning of the process on the new version?
I'm also having issues with the signature lines getting moved to a different location on the form after it is signed…

Everything regressed
This version of Adobe E-Sign sucks. How do I go back to the old version where things just worked?
Adobe now balloons up files and then limits the amount for Adobe E-sign. It used to just work. I would question anyone's sanity if they recommended this iteration of Adobe.

Product is Frustrating
I use this tool to create and edit PDFs and collect e-signatures using "Create Web Form" and "Request E-Signatures." Adobe seems to get more complicated and more difficult to use. A few specific complaints:
(1) stop with all the interruptions about your new features. I don't want to take tours and learn about new features. I don’t need to learn how to edit a PDF. I don’t want to watch videos about Adobe. I have work to do and you're getting in my way.
(2) I pay for this, it's buggy, it crashes. I just had to uninstall and re-install…1 voteHi Tim,

E-signature update is garbage
I am writing to express my deep frustration with the recent overhaul of your e-signature tool. As a user of this product, I am shocked at the decline in efficiency and usability following the update. What used to be a straightforward task of entering and sending a lease, taking no more than five to six minutes, now inexplicably consumes over 20 minutes of valuable time. This significant increase in time, with no discernible improvements in functionality, is unacceptable and counterproductive.
The update, which seems to be merely a cosmetic facelift, has drastically reduced the tool's efficiency. For a company with…

Recipeints sign in order
Under E-sign option, it would be good to have a popup to confirm if the a document needs to be signed by recipients in order. Recently we missed checking the option of recipients will sign in order and we had to cancel the agreement and send it again

Can't backspace or delete message body
Hi - I've noticed that the "Backspace" key nor the "Delete" key are affective when attempting to edit the message box prior to sending a document for signature. Makes this theing a type-writer, effectively... Please look into this!

Completed documents appearing in Waiting for you section
There are signed documents that are appearing in the "Waiting for you section". They are completed and not in fact waiting for a signature. Please fix asap.

Signatures Not on Lines since Update
Since the update, signatures and dates are not appearing in the spots they're supposed to be, or where the blanks appear to be before the form is sent for e-signature. Usually the signature/date is higher than the blank line, appearing in the form writing.

Updates are making the software almost unusable
The updates made to the "Request E-Signatures" in Adobe Acrobat have made things a lot more difficult to use.
I use a template form to send multiple documents for sign-off by up to 4 people at a time. Each person has their section to complete and sign.
I used to be able to open one document, select "Request E-Signatures" and the "more options" would allow me to add more documents and add the template form I created online.
I am no longer able to do this through the Adobe Acrobat desktop application but have to do a long-winded roundabout way…
2 votesHi Clara,
Thanks for asking, I'm glad to help, the following steps might help you to use Prefill role:- Open a file with Request Signature
- On Recipient modal: Allow sequential signing by checking the box,
- On Recipient modal: The very first recipient shouldn't be yourself, or the "account user", please enter a different recipient than yourself.
- Prepare document as usual.
- Prefill role should be enabled through Context Menu (Click the desired field on page > Change recipient > Prefill)
- Review & Send
If this information wasn't helpful, you can switch to earlier version by following the steps below,
- Open the agreement draft experiencing the issue.
- On the left panel, scroll down and click "View more".
- Click the "Switch to legacy version" link.

Change signature date default
I need a way to set the default of the date of signature to be the US version of (MM/DD/YYYY) and not the day, month year.
1 voteHi,
We understand you're experiencing issues with this version of Acrobat Web. However, it's worth mentioning that it's possible to change the default date format by adding a date field when using the Request e-signatures workflow, then double clicking the field and scrolling in the field properties panel and in the Date format drop down, selecting the desired format. This change will persist for future agreements.
Please, feel free to contact us if you have any further question.

Please retain prefill stage for e-sign templates
The only reason I use Adobe Acrobat is for it's ability to prefill template forms that I've previously set up. The new edit option does not allow me to work in "prefill" mode anymore, for example I can not tab from one space to the next. PLEASE bring back the prefill option for the new format. I will not use your product anymore if you don't and the only reason I'm still using it is that I can switch back to the legacy version. There needs to be a stage where you are not only editing the types of data…
1 voteHi Erin,
We understand you're experiencing issues with this version of Acrobat Web. However, it's worth mentioning that it's possible to fill in fields before sending the agreement for signature using the Prefill Role. Below are the steps to do so:
- Start Request E-Signatures with any valid document.
- In the window to add recipients, do not add yourself; this will allow you to use the prefill role.
- Click continue.
- In the Authoring view, add the fields you need to fill in before sending the agreement and assign them the Prefill role.
This way, when you click "Review and Send" and send the agreement for signing, you'll be able to pre-fill the designated fields.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any further question
