  1. Although I appreciate that it is an option, the signing process pretty much sucks. Could you maybe try harder to make it even more user unfriendly??
    Examples:
Being able to change the message that accompanies the request as you are specifying where to sign...
    Integration with Outlook address book?

    Hi Jimmy,

You should be able to change the message accompanies the signature request before it’s sent out. There is a Back button in the right hand panel where you are specifying where to sign, which will take you back to the previous screen where you can change the message.

    Thanks,
    Adobe Sign Team

  2. My recipient David Granado cannot open the w9 and direct deposit links i sent him. He says it times out. I tried texting your AI bot, but it's useless. Is this a browser issue from my recipient or are the links bad?

  3. What is being done to make e-sign more user friendly? I have had two customers within the past week who thought they signed a doc I sent, but I never received the signed version. Please work on making this more user-friendly, since it's a big time suck having to walk people through the process

    Hello,

We are sorry you are experiencing trouble with this feature.

Please check the email's spam folder to verify the agreements you are sending are not being forwarded there by mistake.

If you are not able to find them, please double check if the agreement was sent with Sing in Order on. You can visualize this, following the next instructions:

    1. On the Main page click the "Documents" tab on the top left corner
    2. Click "In progress" under Agreements
    3. Find the agreement you want to do a follow up on, and click on it
    4. On the right hand panel that pops up, scroll all the way down
    5. You will find the "Recipients" section
    6. If the recipients are listed with numbers, an email will be sent to the next recipient only when the previous one has signed the document
    7. If they are not listed with numbers, there should be no problem on…
  5. Also related to the new e-sign interface, I don't see an option to cc a non-signatory administrative assistant who helps with tracking the progress and final filing of the signed documents. This has a significant negative impact on our business process and workflow.

  6. The updates made to the "Request E-Signatures" in Adobe Acrobat have made things a lot more difficult to use.

I use a template form to send multiple documents for sign-off by up to 4 people at a time. Each person has their section to complete and sign.

I used to be able to open one document, select "Request E-Signatures" and the "more options" would allow me to add more documents and add the template form I created online.

I am no longer able to do this through the Adobe Acrobat desktop application but have to do a long-winded roundabout way…

    Hi Clara,
Thanks for asking, I'm glad to help, the following steps might help you to use Prefill role:

    • Open a file with Request Signature
    • On Recipient modal: Allow sequential signing by checking the box,
    • On Recipient modal: The very first recipient shouldn't be yourself, or the "account user", please enter a different recipient than yourself.
    • Prepare document as usual.
    • Prefill role should be enabled through Context Menu (Click the desired field on page > Change recipient > Prefill)
    • Review & Send

If this information wasn't helpful, you can switch to earlier version by following the steps below,

    1. Open the agreement draft experiencing the issue.
    2. On the left panel, scroll down and click "View more".
    3. Click the "Switch to legacy version" link.

This will switch you to the earlier version for this specific draft only. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in resolving this issue.

    We are sorry you are…

    Hello Sam,

If you are trying to modify an agreement it will not be possible since it is already signed and approved. You will need to use a copy of the file that wasn't signed or approved.

    Hope this helps!

  13. We should be able to choose the Default action (Toggle) if we want to-be-signed documents to autosave to Adobe account and/or choose on demand for any particular document. Currently, everyone using that Adobe account has access to any files ever sent/received to-be-signed over however many past years. That may include documents with confidential information. Potentially confidential files from past employees/employers, past students/teachers, past friends/family to whoever currently has access to the Adobe account.

    Hello Joel,

Thank you for your suggestion! We appreciate your interest in helping us improve. We are always looking for ways to improve our product and will definitely consider your request.

As a workaround you can always use the "Send in Bulk" tool, which does have a password protection, just follow the next steps, and also check the video attached:

    • Use any entry point named "Send in Bulk" and add the desired file to be sent
    • Add the required recipients
    • Add an access password under "Agreement settings"
    • Modify the document with as many fields as needed
    • Send the agreement

This way, in your account, your document is protected from anyone who does not have the password.

  15. Why is the agreements page so vague and confusing? The only status updates I see is if an agreement has been opened - shouldn't there be a display that indicates that the agreement has been signed (or at least what stage it's in)? And why does the app create a "legacy" version of the document?

Also, I'm seeing agreements from last year that are now mixed in with more recent agreements (so I'll be scrolling and see 2024 2024 2024 2023 2023 2024 2024. Why is that?

    Hello!

Thank you for your feedback. Make sure you are under All agreements in Documents page, here you can see the status of your agreement, the date that was modified which you can click to sort them how you want. As seen in the attached screenshot.

Another point you mention is the existent of legacy agreements, this shows when the agreements was made in the legacy version of Request Signature, if you use templates with unsupported features in the new version it will create them in the old one.

Please let us know if you have any other question and feedback.

  16. It looks like you have removed the ability to send out for signatures in the same project that gets combined and edited. I now have to save the document and then go into the Request E-signatures. This is an awful change that has ruined my morning and frustrated numerous people. Please change it back.

  17. Thanks for changing the way you request e-signatures, now I cannot change the Name of the file, or add the details in the message. I can't change the name of the file, and when you can, it just shows the name as binder. I have 3 binder agreements in my recent files, but I dont know what they relate to and neither will the recipients. Dont fix something that isnt broken. how do i revert back to the old Adobe where I can make the relevant changes before the file sends?
