  1. Brief title
  2. Description of desired feature
  3. Why the feature is needed

For a new bug:

  1. Brief title
  2. Steps to reproduce the issue
  3. Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.)
  4. Expected result
  5. Observed result

  1. i marked up a PDF of a large publication this morning with drawings (editorial marks) and comments. when i tried to share it, it seems my 48 comments show up, but the content for them is not all there & the drawings are missing. is there history or a way to find my 3 hours of work?! did it not save it automatically and i needed to?

  2. After accidentally clicking through to the Adobe Acrobat home page, I went back and while my comments are present and I can view them in Print Preview, they do not show up inline (on pages after the first). I mean, the text boxes show up inline if I click on the comment in the side frame, and the text in the side frame is correct, but the text itself does not appear on the document itself.

    FWIW, I'm using orange as my text color.

  3. Let the designer accept/complete the comment without it disappearing from the list for everyone to see.

    Create an opportunity for the sender to check off comments that have been corrected so that the comments stay in the list for all to see but the designer can track what has been corrected.

    please i would like 2 things
    1. when i am reading, and highlight any text the right menu of "comments" automatically appears and the size of my width pdf is reduced, for the right menu, and for get again my desire previous size, i need close the right menu all the time.
    Then every time i use highlight after i need to close the right menu, and it is uncomfortable, will be better if the menu don't appears and is keeped hide especially when you use the highlight tool many times.

  7. Is there anyway to make it easier to dictate (speech to text feedback) within Adobe? I am trying to use the windows built in speech to text feature, but it does not work very well. thanks

  9. I will be dropping Adobe Pro as soon as I finish the class I'm taking at UCLA. Your product is entirely user unfriendly. I am trying to do very simple edits on a script. Like strike text and add comments. EVERY SINGLE TIME I had to go up to the search function and type in STRIKE TEXT and ADD COMMENT. These very basic tools needed to edit were not readily available. I spent about 45 minutes just trying to figure it out and decided it wasn't worth the effort so I kept having to type in the search menu. WHY?…

    On Acrobat Web, you can highlight, underline, or strikethrough text by using the Quick Tools options. In the top right corner, you can select the highlight, underline, or strikethrough tool and then choose any text to apply the desired formatting.

    Additionally, whenever you select any text within the document, a context menu will appear. This context menu will provide an option to highlight, underline, or strikethrough the selected text.

    I have included a video with this message to assist you in understanding the workflow better.

  16. I edit files on online by connecting OneDrive. However, when I edit the file first time, it is saved automatically and works properly, but after the first edit(hightlight, etc) the following error message occurs and the document cannot be saved.
    'Cannot read property 'code' of undefined'. I wonder this is a recent error, because I have used Adobe Acrobat in this way without a trouble since now. Thanks for your help!

  18. Why would you change the entire functionality of adding comments to a PDF when that was what separated this software from others? The new tool layout is so clunky and non-user friendly. Please revert it back to how it was.

  19. This is driving me insane. I keep running into this issue with comments (doesn't happen EVERY time, but it happens in every document without warning -- I end up having to reload it to make it work right again). The glitch happens when I highlight a word and begin typing my comment, and then as I type, the tool switches over to the "strikethrough" tool and begins posting EACH separate character/letter as its own separate comment.
