  1. Last update appears to have removed the ability to flatten a copy of the document. Is there an option for this somewhere within the application?

  2. Prior to latest update we were able to use the drawing tools on documents that were saved as "Reader Extended PDF's." After this update we do not have the blue comment icon on the documents when viewed on iPhones. If the document is not saved as reader extended, the icon is there and functioning.

  3. Hi, despite the update for Adobe PDF Expert on iPad that said it was going to fix Google Drive connectivity, it is still extremely slow to open my drive account and I cannot upload PDFs to any folders in GD. Says "pending" for a while then never moves. Disappointing because I rely heavily on this app for my private students to push them their lesson notes to practice at home at the end of our lesson.

    I am on Wifi at home, space in GD not an issue, running lated iOS, updated to latest version of the app. PLEASE FIX!!!

  4. When I share a pdf file in iOS bundled “Files” app by choosing “open in Adobe Acrobat...”, the file name as it appears in the Acrobat app’s Home screen’s Recent section is converted to lowercase.

  6. On the iPhone X/XS, there is a thin line at the top-most part of the screen that is visible when viewing PDFs with photos or any non-white page in continuous mode. I think the display area size needs some fixing.

  8. Hi there, from my computer, I downloaded a PDF from the government’s website, because is important, I uploaded to the cloud, I opened Acrobat App in my phone, I see the file, I click but I cannot see it.
    In the first message you see the same thing I have send in the picture.

    In the second message that opens up just after, is the classic advising window from apple, The message say that I need to install “Adobe Acrobat DC”

    I tried to download other Acrobat apps but, I don’t believe that I have to pay as you propose…

  9. I have two pdf files on my iPad in adobe reader that have no content and cannot be opened, deleted, or renamed. They only have file names.
    I would like to delete them but there does not seem to be any way to do that. I have tried to access them both in the Adobe app and using the Apple file app. Any suggestions?

  11. Whenever i highlight sentences, i soon find (not immediately) that a page of the pdf i am reading has disappeared. Multiple highlights = multiple lost pages. Never happened with previous versions of adobe reader. Closing and reopening the pdf does not change this, pagesremain lost from view. Any ideas why or how to get pages back?

Adobe Acrobat Reader for IOS (running on iPad Pro) is unable to open certain files (in my case it is all the files sent by the South African Revenue Services, the receiver of revenue of the Republic of South Africa), yet Adobe Acrobat Reader for Microsoft Windows on my laptop opens them without a problem, even some email attachment files that the Reader for IOS says are corrupted.   15. Subscribed to PDF pack but there was error downloading. Am now subscribed but the pack is not activated. Have removed app and retried, downloading from cloud so issue not resolvable.

  16. I have a problem with a PDF I’ve imported from Telegram on my iPad Pro 12.9" 2015 (even if I don’t remember whether I copied it or I just opened with Adobe or even if I copied it to Notability and then I sent it to Adobe).
    In Adobe the file has changed name in "Telegram-cloud-document-4-...[many numbers].pdf” and is only 45 bytes.
    Every operation done with this file fails with unknown error so that it is in the main page when I open the app and so it is upsetting to see it every time... I would like to eliminate…

    Hi Michelangelo,

    Is the file locally stored on your iPhone/iPad? If so, please tap “Files” in the bottom tab bar and check the file listing of “On This iPhone/iPad”. Do you see the file?

    Would you please try deleting the file from the Files > Location > One This iPhone/iPad (instead of Home > Recent)?

    1. Tap “…”.
    2. Scroll down the menu that pops up.
    3. Tap “Delete” (which is the last item in the menu).

    It may also help to restart your device and try again.

    Hi,

    The current minimum iOS requirement for Acrobat Reader is iOS 11.2. If you have an older iOS version, you will not be able to install the latest version of Acrobat Reader.

    Here are a couple of options that you can try.

    (a) Update iOS on your iPad/iPhone

    If you have a relatively new iPad/iPhone (e.g. iPhone 5s/SE or later OR iPad Air 1st gen. or later), you should be able to update to iOS 12.1. After updating iOS to the latest version, you can now install the latest version of Acrobat Reader.

    (b) Download the last compatible (not the latest) version of Acrobat Reader

    When you go to the App Store app on your iPad/iPhone and try to install the latest version of Acrobat Reader, do you see the alert with the title “Download an older version of this app?” and the Download option?

    If so, you can choose…

  19. After actualization the new app keeps deleting/not saving the coments, the highlights, etc., all the modifictions I do to the pdfs. Why?! It is extremely frustrating, as I work with Academic texts in my PhD research, and I lose every single note I add. This never happened in the ancient app, which was very fine.

    We’re really sorry for any inconveniences this has caused.

    If you can answer any of these specific questions, that would be really helpful:

    - How long had you been commenting for before you lost data?
    - Did you click the ‘done’ button in the top left?
    - Did you only use a single tool (highlight), or did you alternate?
    - How did you leave the pdf you were commenting before your comments were lost? (Switching to another app, closing the app, etc.)
    - Did you share the file?
    - Did the app crash?
