  1. Under a Windows 10 environment, when navigating a folder with the Preview Pane enabled, the time for the preview pane to populate is greatly increased. Under Windows 7, the preview pane was immediate and crisp. Windows 10, however, the preview pane takes (literally) over a full second to populate, during which time you also cannot click or down arrow to the next file until it displays. I've duplicated this issue on multiple PC's. The thumbnails show immediately, but the preview pane seems to have to actually load each file--every time. Even bouncing back and forth between two files takes over…

  2. Verion 20.006.20034.39303

When copying from a PDF document the text gets cut off after the SECOND letter 't' when trying to paste.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1) Open the PDF document attached to this
    2) Go to the first page of PDF
    3) Highlight the sentence "If the input parameter is a timestamp (without time zone) it applies the offset of the time zone you specify and returns a timestamp with the time zone."
    4) Paste into a text editor

    Expected Results

    All the text is copy/pasted

    Observed Results:

    Only the following is pasted:

"If the input parameter is a"

  3. Hi Adobe,

On Microsoft Windows 10, Acrobat Reader DC 2020.006.20034 incorrectly changes ∊ (unicode U+220A) to ε (U+03B5) when copied from a PDF File and pasted into another program.

    I get this:
    'THIS NOUN' ε 'THAT WORD'

    But, the expected result is:

    'THIS NOUN' ∊ 'THAT WORD'

    Thanks

  4. If using a PC with NVidia graphic cards, hardware acceleration is automatically deactivated if protected mode on startup is active. This slows down 3D PDFs significantly.

Deactivating Protected Mode on Startup allows for hardware acceleration again.

  5. The DDEEXEC value is not being updated after the Adobe Reader DC update to version 2020.006.2034.

The value remained at AcroViewR19 and needs to be AcroViewR20

  6. I need for the service you have provided me for many years to be fixed immediately. I need to be able to send multiple pdf files and pictures at the same time in one link. Please email me as soon as this feature is available again. In the meantime I will be looking at other software providers to fill my needs.

    Sincerely,
    Susan Hatfield

  7. The support of the reading function in Acrobat Reader (Mac OS) has been broken for a long time. It works only once (highlight text, request the system to read, works fine. Choose another text paragraph and retry → fails). This is persistent for years now. I'd be very happy if this could be fixed.

  9. I was asked to create a document in such a way that when it gets passed along it opens in Read Mode instead of with the comment, fill &sign and more tools panel open. Apparently that can't be done.

  10. Acrobat Reader is unable to correctly interpret some mountpoint reparse points (junctions). In practical terms: Acrobat Reader is unable to access PDF files from file systems mounted as directories and this is the root cause of the problem.

Junctions are special symbolic links that are used in many scenarios; an important one is when a file system is mounted as a directory rather than a regular drive. Junctions contain 2 paths: a “substitute” path which must be a path in the NTOS namespace (not a Win32 path) and a “print” path, which is to be used for display to…

  11. The DFS bug has shown it's head again. Win 2019 servers offering DFS fileshares to Win10 clients will no longer allow multiple PDFs to be opened from the OS interface, because of Protected Mode.

Any other combination works fine (non-Win2019, non-Win10, non-DFS shares, disable Protected Mode).

Now that the vastly popular Win 2008r2 is out of support, many more organizations are upgrading to Win 2019. Disabling Protected Mode via registry GPO is a poor workaround.

    Please fix!
