BugFix cpu usage
since 2020 versions (this bug still persists in all updates until now) of acrobat reader dc for windows it happens that suddenly the application process requires a huge amount of cpu for no apparent reason and it won't stop until the program is closed

there should be a way to set a default paper size for your printer in Acrobat Reader DC
For some reason, Acrobat Reader DC assumes that all .pdf files will need to print on A4 paper. My printer is configured for Letterhead (8.5X11). I can reset the size when printing but should not need to do so. I'm fairly certain that none of the institutions sending me .pdf files are using A4 as they are located in Canada and Canada is still using Imperial sizes to maintain compatibility with the USA.

Bug: Adobe Reader 2020.006.20034 - Incorrect service name for DDE communication
The issue exists in all Adobe Reader versions released in 2020.
To establish DDE communication with Adobe Reader, a client needs to know DDE service name. It can be read from the following entry in Windows registry:
Computer\HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\acrobat\shell\open\ddeexec\application
This entry is created/updated during Adobe Reader installation.
Adobe Reader 2020.006.20034 saves the following value to this entry: "AcroViewR19". Our application reads this value and tries to establish DDE connections with Adobe Reader. Allow selective print of tiles from Poster print / Tiled print
When printing a "Poster" or tiled printout, where the PDF is not scaled but is printed on multiple sheets, one should be able to selectibely only print certain sheets. This is useful, for example, if you have a 15 or 20 sheet print of some architectural plans (or any large file) and you have a printer error with 2 pages to go. (The free version) On macOS you should NOT break normal system behaviors like "Print to PDF".
That is a system behavior and is expected of all apps on macOS. "Print to PDF" is NOT a creative function, but an output function. It would be useful for getting around bugs etc, related to printing.

I am trying to print a single page of my PDF. I ask it to print page 2, and it prints page 12.
When a single page or range of pages is printed, print the correct page(s). I was trying to print page 2 of my PDF, and page 12 printed.
I got around it by going to page 2 and printing current page.

google drive save conflicted copy
Currently, when I use Adobe Acrobat to access a pdf on my Google Drive and comment on the pdf, saving the file to my Google Drive will sometimes create a new file inside my Google Drive instead of overwriting the original. Then I will have two files like "original.pdf" and "original (Conflicted Copy date and time).pdf)" Even when I go out of my way to click "Save As.." and overwrite the file in my Google Drive with the original name, Adobe will still save the pdf as a separate file called "Conflicted Copy." The Cost and Subscription Options
I'm an occasional user that only needs some of the premium features in Reader once in a while. An example would be adding or removing pages. $13.49 per month is absolute robbery. Instead, I use free programs when needed. Why not offer reasonable pricing plans, with annual payment options that non-commercial users can afford. Adobe thinking seems to be they'd rather have 100% of $0, rather than price it reasonably and add millions of new paying subscribers. Adobe is the best product; why not price it cheap and drive the copycats out of the market.

Fix failure to start up
Conditions: Windows 10. My internet was flaky, I think because my Ethernet wired interface has a hardware problem. For instance, Chrome was very slow or would not load a website at all. Edge would load sites usually when in this condition. I do not know how, but it did.
When in this hobbled operational mode, if I clicked a PDF file in explorer, or an attachment in my email reader, Acroread would simply not start up at all. I'm sure the executable began momentarily because I could see a little spinner appear momentarily, but nothing appears on screen. No splash…

flipping effect/ animation while reading
Scrolling or viewing pages should also have an option of viewing with a flipping animation. Many pdfs are huge files to read and an animation effect like this would make the reading experience more natural and smooth.

Dismissing Notifications
Once signed in to adobe creative cloud and viewing notifications through clicking on the bell symbol - you are only able to dismiss certain notifications. For example you are unable to dismiss or delete notifications regarding the deactivation of fonts from font pack resulting in a long backlog of notifications you can't get rid of.

Making removing of an open pdf-file more convenient
Hi, I have a question about Acrobat Reader, wenn I have an open pdf-file and want to remove it form the folder on my computer, I get the message that removing is not possible because the file is opened. Would it be possible to add an option "Close and remove". This happens to me a lot during my working day and this solution would be very convenient for me.

Improve support for read-aloud
I find read-aloud a a very useful feature as it allows use of an additional sense of hearing for absorb the content of a document. I suggest following features
1. Configuration to ignore figures, listing and side bars
2. Support for other languages. As of now my version of Acrobat reader can not read Hindi (Indian language).Thanks

Error when fax with "sharp mx-m266n fax"
When faxing a 2 page pdf.
When "Print" > select printer "sharp mx-m266n fax", it shows correct at abode preview. But at the preview of the fax driver, both page shows the content of page 1. And the receiver of the fax receives 2 copies of page1.Tested normal on Chrome and PDF Architect 7. However, also failed on some other PDF readers.
Please advise.

BUG: Cannot Copy Highlighted Text to normal notes file or word document
Steps to reproduce the issue:
- Open a pdf document.
- Highlight a sentence.
- Copy only the middle text of the highlighted sentence using cmd+c. (Should not include any character outside the highlighted text)
- Try to paste it on the word document.
Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.):
OS : Mac Catalina
Application: Acrobat Reader DC.

Preview Pane speed
Under a Windows 10 environment, when navigating a folder with the Preview Pane enabled, the time for the preview pane to populate is greatly increased. Under Windows 7, the preview pane was immediate and crisp. Windows 10, however, the preview pane takes (literally) over a full second to populate, during which time you also cannot click or down arrow to the next file until it displays. I've duplicated this issue on multiple PC's. The thumbnails show immediately, but the preview pane seems to have to actually load each file--every time. On Microsoft Windows 10, Acrobat Reader DC 2020.006.20034 incorrectly changes ∊ (unicode U+220A) to ε (U+03B5) when copied from a PDF File and pasted into another program.
I get this:
'THIS NOUN' ε 'THAT WORD'But, the expected result is:
'THIS NOUN' ∊ 'THAT WORD'
