  2. When having multiple tabs open from diferent PDF documents, would be nice to have to option to save current session to close the program and be able to reopen as left in the previous state. Sometimes Windows is requiring a restart for updates and you don´t want to loose all the documents open for the next day.

  3. As explained in this post (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/get-rid-of-7-day-trial-after-rotate-from-context-menu-within-plug-in/m-p/12897117#M90403), we'd like to get rid of the pop up when a user clicks on the rotate buttons in the context menu.
In the base Adobe Reader it is possible to use other menu's, but when another piece of software uses the plug in, these menu's aren't available and users are left with either the rotate buttons which generate the pop up, or the only option Rotate to the right.
Please let the rotate buttons in the context menu act without the advert for the 7-day trial.
    TIA!

  5. Look, I get it. Reader DC is a free product Adobe would love to sell paid products/services. That's absolutely fine. But placing a toolbar button that suggests a basic feature such as rotate view may require the paid version/subscription is disingenuous at best. Seems a bit deceptive when it gets down to it. Not a fan Adobe!

  6. Would be nice to have a check box to say 'this is the way I want my UI setup', a la Microsoft File Explorer (use this view for all folders).
The preferences as they are , are too complex
Let the user set the window the way they want
Then record that in the prefs with a single check box

  7. On Windows 10 Enterprise 1909 build 18363.2094,
    Adobe Acrobat DC version 2021.011.20039,
    opening file Colour Cycle.pdf
    Top menu
    File > Print...
    Print Dialog
Top section (Printer, Properties, Advanced, Copies, Help)
Checkbox "Print in grayscale (black and white)" is unchecked.
    Expected behaviour: prints in colour
Actual behaviour: printed in black & white.

    Why?

    Workaround:

    File > Print...
    Print Dialog
Top section (Printer, Properties, Advanced, Copies, Help)

    Right hand side

  8. Mostly there are many documentations which associates lot of text info referring a specific Image or Diagram. While reading the text, it always required to imagine the diagram if it is in another page and having a window side by side when clicked on this image to use it for referring while reading the following text or comparing other diagrams could be very useful to many industries.

  9. This issue happens with keyboard-only and screen reader users.

When exporting, saving or publishing a document as a PDF, the interactive features within that document (such as hyperlinks) don't work when the PDF is viewed in a browser (any browser). The only way an interactive PDF works as intended is when it is opened with Acrobat Reader.

There must be an issue between the interactivity within a PDF and how browsers render that PDF document for accessibility. Can this be fixed so it doesn't matter whether a user has Acrobat or uses a browser to view a PDF and interact…

  10. Many times, I am confronted with a text string that needs a search (I generally use Google) and from within Acrobat I must select and copy the text, then go to the browser and search. I know it sounds fundamentally lazy...but these steps if repeated over and over take time. From the Chrome browser, we can select and then right-click text and "Search in Google" is an option. Acrobat is a much richer environment for working with the PDF but then the constant charade (for instance in a legal document with citations) of select, copy, open the browser, open or…

  12. Any chance that Adobe Reader will be integrated with Microsoft Edge Chromium in a similar way Adobe Reader is integrated with Internet Explorer 11 via ActiveX? Users opening pdf in IE are not even aware they see Adobe with plenty of features. ActiveX is legacy technology and not supported by modern browsers but maybe Adobe plans some deeper integration with Microsoft? I'm working in corporate environment with 70 housand users and received feedback that Microsoft Edge built-in pdf reader cannot open many pdf-s created in Adobe products. So in Edge browser there is option to redirect PDF to Adobe reader by…

  14. When using the Pan mouse function, the mouse often selects text/images rather than panning. There is already a Select mouse option, when using Pan, you should not be able to select text as that's not what you're attempting to do.

  16. Have an option or a call switch that can be made so that when a file loads it can simply close the file and not save it if the ADOBE is closed?

We print labels and the user does not want to save the labels - merely print them so they would like to be able to see the labels and print then and then close the Adobe and not have to cancel the save.

  17. By Editing PDF fields in Adobe Acrobat DC user has to be logged in. By on click on edit, it opens the popup for "7 days test period". This pop up you can't close or you can't quit the application.

    Software:
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.007.20099

    Hardware:
    Architecture: x86_64
    Processor: Intel
    Build: 21.7.20099.455081
    AGM: 4.30.111
    CoolType: 6.0.0
    JP2K: 2.0.2.49666

Also, the webpage and the registration process is fully with bugs. I have the feeling, the Adobe lost the quality.

  19. Clicking on internal links in pdfs make you jump to the pointed position: E.g. in scientific papers, if you click on the source number you jump the source which is normally at the end of the pdf.

If you want to continue reading it is (as far as I know) impossible to jump back. It would be nice to include some options inspired by browsers: I would like to have the option to open the same pdf in a new tab/window again at the desired position so that after checking the source you can continue reading in the original tab.…
