1. Redraw bug when scrolling in Fill & Sign Mode

   (SYSTEM AND SPECS: Macbook Air M1 (2020), Apple M1, macOS Monterey 12.5, Acrobat Reader DC 2021.001.20169)

   When scrolling whilst in Fill & Sign mode the document screen seems to "glitch" or "tear" periodically when scrolling vertically through a document that is being filled.

2. double find function

   I have an idea for the find (ctrl + F) function. I propose there be a double find option to search for multiple phrases from different paragraphs. This feature would be useful for scientists and scholars who need to search a pdf for one phrase as it relates to another. For example, if I need to search for "enzyme replacement therapy" but I want to find where it relates to "Endocytosis" as opposed to "Passive diffusion" I can find it easily. I am sure there are countless other use-cases.

3. When using JAWS, opening an untagged PDF attachment from Thunderbird , the "reading untagged document" dialog is not always focused

   Windows 10 Home 10.0.19044 Build 19044.
   Thunderbird version: 91.11.0 (32-bit)
   JAWS Version 2022.2206.9 ILM

   Preconditions:
   Configure Thunderbird to use Acrobat Reader DC rather than its internal PDF viewer:
   In Tools > Preferences > Files and Attachments, for Portable Document Format (PDF) choose Use Adobe Acrobat DC.
   inbox contains a message with a file attachment of an untagged PDF document.
   JAWS running.
   Steps to reproduce:
   Open the message.
   Open the attached file (Message > Attachments > Open).
   Actual: Acrobat Reader appears, JAWS is focused on the document, the JAWS virtual cursor is active and there is no text to read with the virtual cursor. The Reading Untagged Document dialog is not spoken by JAWS.
   Expected: the Reading Untagged Document dialog is spoken with focus on the Reading Order combo box.

   Note: saving the file and opening it from File Explorer seems to work properly.

   Acrobat Reader opens and JAWS is focused on it with the VC active. Inspection with Script Utility Mode (JAWSKey+Windows+NumpadMinus)shows that the dialog appears at the top level (although it is not).
   From the initial focus ascend the tree with Shift+F2 to the top level.
   Set to speak window class (F3) and tab left encountering:
   AVLAVWindow
   AVLAVWindow
   AcrobatModelessParentWnd Exiting the window tree for the currently active application

4. Bug Report - Adobe Reader For Windows & Mac

   I have noticed recently that the copy text function when copying some text from a PDF document doesn't work or fail to work properly after you send the computer or laptop to sleep and you wake up the computer / laptop from sleep, and the only way to get it working again is by closing down Acrobat Reader and then restarting up Acrobat Reader again.

5. Bug Report - Reader isn't rendering text correctly in Chrome, Edge, or Outlook

   Blocks of text aren't rendering correctly in Chrome or Edge (it works in Mozilla). These are files that have been saved as PDF from Illustrator or Indesign. The text renders correctly in the PDF desktop application, but isn't working properly in browser readers.

   Acrobat Reader only supports signedData/version 1. Would be preferred to support signedData/version 4 (v2)
   so ETSI EN 319 122-1 V1.1.1 (2016-04) support required. (signer-attributes-v2). Support signedData / certificates and Attribute certificate v2.
   The signature dictionary shall contain a value of ETSI.CAdES.detached for the key SubFilter. (TS
   102 778-3 V1.2.1, 4.2.e)
   The ESS signing-certificate attribute or the ESS signing-certificate-v2 attribute as defined in
   clause 5.7.3 of CAdES (TS 101 733 [2]) shall be used as a signed attribute. (TS 102 778-3 V1.2.1,
   4.4.3)
   And display attribute certificate detailed data not only in HEX format in certificate view. If it is an octet string show in string and all detailed data which can be converted to string in an ASN1 seq, to show all the attributes.

10. Make fit width the absolutely default zoom

    I could never get the default zoom to be "fit width", even making the settings in multiple places in Preferences (Accessibility, Documents, Page Display). I'm finally fed up with Adobe Acrobat. It's so frustrating to click on a page on the bookmark, and having to adjust the zoom level EVERY SINGLE TIME. I found that Foxit allows me to make AND KEEP the selection of fit width.

11. Ability to edit how equations are read aloud

    Allowing a person to go through and edit how some text is read aloud, for example equations. Instead of being read literally, letting a person select or highlight the equation and enter in what it means in natural language.

    Example: A{p(t), q(t)} is currently read as "A p t q t" when, in the context of the book, it should be "Some function, A, of the momenta and spatial phase space coordinates".

    I don't see a way something very context-dependent could be programmed in, so having a way for the reader to manually change how the equation is interpreted and read might work better.

    it is for digital editions, but you dont even offer the option.

    i need this to borrow books from the library and it is hideous, you cant see 2 pages and magazines are imposible to read

13. session saver

    When having multiple tabs open from diferent PDF documents, would be nice to have to option to save current session to close the program and be able to reopen as left in the previous state. Sometimes Windows is requiring a restart for updates and you don´t want to loose all the documents open for the next day.

14. Get rid of 7-days trial pop up when using context menu

    As explained in this post (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/get-rid-of-7-day-trial-after-rotate-from-context-menu-within-plug-in/m-p/12897117#M90403), we'd like to get rid of the pop up when a user clicks on the rotate buttons in the context menu.
    In the base Adobe Reader it is possible to use other menu's, but when another piece of software uses the plug in, these menu's aren't available and users are left with either the rotate buttons which generate the pop up, or the only option Rotate to the right.
    Please let the rotate buttons in the context menu act without the advert for the 7-day trial.

16. Toolbar button for Rotate (Quick Tools) suggests paid feature, really?!?

    Look, I get it. Reader DC is a free product Adobe would love to sell paid products/services. That's absolutely fine. But placing a toolbar button that suggests a basic feature such as rotate view may require the paid version/subscription is disingenuous at best. Seems a bit deceptive when it gets down to it. Not a fan Adobe!

17. Make it easy to set UI preferences

    Would be nice to have a check box to say 'this is the way I want my UI setup', a la Microsoft File Explorer (use this view for all folders).
    The preferences as they are , are too complex
    Let the user set the window the way they want
    Then record that in the prefs with a single check box

18. Suggest to sync color printer setting with Windows

    On Windows 10 Enterprise 1909 build 18363.2094,
    Adobe Acrobat DC version 2021.011.20039,
    opening file Colour Cycle.pdf
    Top menu
    File > Print...
    Print Dialog
    Top section (Printer, Properties, Advanced, Copies, Help)
    Checkbox "Print in grayscale (black and white)" is unchecked.
    Expected behaviour: prints in colour
    Actual behaviour: printed in black & white.

    Why?

    Workaround:

    File > Print...
    Print Dialog
    Top section (Printer, Properties, Advanced, Copies, Help)
    Properties
    Tab 1 (Paper/Output)
    Right hand side
    Output Color: Black and White
    Dropdown list
    Select "Color"
    Click OK
    Click Print
    Prints in colour.

    Print All Slides, Full Page Slides, Collated, Color
    Select Color

    Let's check if its consistent.

    Both Adobe Reader DC and Microsoft PowerPoint are inconsistent with hidden system settings that decide whether a document prints in colour or black & white.

    This problem took 3 embedded software engineers about 20 minutes, and 3 attempts, to solve. This was done during working hours, at a cost to the company. Please can we have a user interface where the Colour/Black & White setting is consistent with how we would expect it? (that the Print... dialogs show the same selection as the printer properties).

    Thank you for making Adobe Reader for helping us read our Controlled Docs, attach files to our documentation, and communicate effectively across teams!

19. Hovering Reference Window of Images or Text Section upon click for temp reference while reading associated Text or Comparing Text/Images

    Mostly there are many documentations which associates lot of text info referring a specific Image or Diagram. While reading the text, it always required to imagine the diagram if it is in another page and having a window side by side when clicked on this image to use it for referring while reading the following text or comparing other diagrams could be very useful to many industries.

20. Ensure interactive features of a PDF document works when being viewed through a browser

    This issue happens with keyboard-only and screen reader users.

    When exporting, saving or publishing a document as a PDF, the interactive features within that document (such as hyperlinks) don't work when the PDF is viewed in a browser (any browser). The only way an interactive PDF works as intended is when it is opened with Acrobat Reader.

    There must be an issue between the interactivity within a PDF and how browsers render that PDF document for accessibility. Can this be fixed so it doesn't matter whether a user has Acrobat or uses a browser to view a PDF and interact with it?
