  1. This issue happens with keyboard-only and screen reader users.

When exporting, saving or publishing a document as a PDF, the interactive features within that document (such as hyperlinks) don't work when the PDF is viewed in a browser (any browser). The only way an interactive PDF works as intended is when it is opened with Acrobat Reader.

There must be an issue between the interactivity within a PDF and how browsers render that PDF document for accessibility. Can this be fixed so it doesn't matter whether a user has Acrobat or uses a browser to view a PDF and interact…

  2. Many times, I am confronted with a text string that needs a search (I generally use Google) and from within Acrobat I must select and copy the text, then go to the browser and search. I know it sounds fundamentally lazy...but these steps if repeated over and over take time. From the Chrome browser, we can select and then right-click text and "Search in Google" is an option. Acrobat is a much richer environment for working with the PDF but then the constant charade (for instance in a legal document with citations) of select, copy, open the browser, open or…

  4. Any chance that Adobe Reader will be integrated with Microsoft Edge Chromium in a similar way Adobe Reader is integrated with Internet Explorer 11 via ActiveX? Users opening pdf in IE are not even aware they see Adobe with plenty of features. ActiveX is legacy technology and not supported by modern browsers but maybe Adobe plans some deeper integration with Microsoft? I'm working in corporate environment with 70 housand users and received feedback that Microsoft Edge built-in pdf reader cannot open many pdf-s created in Adobe products. So in Edge browser there is option to redirect PDF to Adobe reader by…

  6. When using the Pan mouse function, the mouse often selects text/images rather than panning. There is already a Select mouse option, when using Pan, you should not be able to select text as that's not what you're attempting to do.

  8. Have an option or a call switch that can be made so that when a file loads it can simply close the file and not save it if the ADOBE is closed?

We print labels and the user does not want to save the labels - merely print them so they would like to be able to see the labels and print then and then close the Adobe and not have to cancel the save.

  9. By Editing PDF fields in Adobe Acrobat DC user has to be logged in. By on click on edit, it opens the popup for "7 days test period". This pop up you can't close or you can't quit the application.

    Software:
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.007.20099

    Hardware:
    Architecture: x86_64
    Processor: Intel
    Build: 21.7.20099.455081
    AGM: 4.30.111
    CoolType: 6.0.0
    JP2K: 2.0.2.49666

Also, the webpage and the registration process is fully with bugs. I have the feeling, the Adobe lost the quality.

  11. Clicking on internal links in pdfs make you jump to the pointed position: E.g. in scientific papers, if you click on the source number you jump the source which is normally at the end of the pdf.

If you want to continue reading it is (as far as I know) impossible to jump back. It would be nice to include some options inspired by browsers: I would like to have the option to open the same pdf in a new tab/window again at the desired position so that after checking the source you can continue reading in the original tab.…

  13. The automatic OCR feature needs to be dropped and replaced with the option to use freely. It should be an option because we pay for this service. Clicking the box for text recognition does not work, it simply turns my pdf into jpg which then makes it uneditable.

  14. I would like to use my 2-in-1 for reading PDFs, but I want to swipe left and right to change the page. It currently only supports swiping up and down, which is extremely counter intuitive!

  15. Steps to reproduce the issue:
    1) Open any PDF
    2) Choose the hand tool (or select tool) from the toolbar user interface
    3) Close the PDF (progam does not need to close)
    4) Open the PDF again
    5) Note which tool is now chosen (it is not the one you changed to)

    Environment: Windows 7

Expected result: The setting to be remembered after closing the program or PDF and opening the program or PDF again next time.

Observed result: Changing from select to hand or hand to select setting in the toolbar UI (Toolbar Item:->Select and Zoom Tools)

    Working Function:…

  16. After a recent update, all user interface is getting rendered with wrong (very small) text size, on a setup with text scale 150% (4K 40" monitor).

Note that the window caption bar is rendered with correct text size, because it's done by USER.DLL

  20. New Adobe updates (downloaded 9/17/20) always give an "out of suffix" warning before opening a file. The problem occurs when trying to open a file for viewing and when generating a new PDF from another program. The warning is not causing issues within the PDF itself, it's just annoying to have to click "Ok" several times on this warning every time before being able to open a file. It is also unclear what the warning means or what it affects.
