  3. The "Save" function for saving a pdf is extremely annoying, it behaves like "Save as". And from googling I see this is "as designed"??? Why would you design the "Save" function to behave like "Save as". It's like 4-5 clicks to save one pdf! I see others complaining about this also. Why would such a big company design it this way one wonders..when every other program uses "Save" as they're supposed to.

  4. When I open different PDF files, the file names does not appear in the Adobe Reader tabs (as tooltip)! A simple example: if I have two copies of a tax form, one for me and one for my wife (with different file names), when I opened them in Adobe, the name appears the same and it shows the type of form only (form name only and not the file name) for both of them. When working with some files (e.g. I am opening some different standards to read at the same time), it is hard to find the one you…

  5. After using "Fill & Sign" I get this error message. (See the attached picture.) This error is caused by only one PDF document which is not possible to upload there due to copyright restrictions. (It is a drawing for production.)

  7. So I have noticed that the arrow key scrolling when using the hand tool has somewhat inconsistent increment sizes. If I press the up or down arrow key once the distance scrolled is about half a line. If I hold down an arrow key to begin the fast scrolling, then let go and continue pressing the arrow keys rapidly, the increment is more like a line and a half.

I find this inconsistency extremely annoying, especially since the fast scrolling is redundant because of the page jumping that is achievable with the left and right arrow keys, and that the…

  8. In Adobe Reader DC version 2021.001.20145 on Windows 10 a message box pops up about percentage of Toner saved. "Upto 15% of Toner has been saved while printing this PDF". The word "Upto" is missing a space.

  10. Recently it appears that a "feature" was added to Reader DC such that whenever you open a PDF, the editing toolbar with a button to click for a free 7 day trial of Acrobat, which looks ugly and unprofessional. The client would have to click an arrow to the right to move it out of the way, or go into View-Read Mode to see the uncluttered document. Or use full screen which is unwieldy.

  11. Most people are moving to Microsoft Edge Chromium and within our company we plan to move to this browser as a default.
These new chromium browsers don't support Active x and OBH's.

Currently the Adobe Extension from the Chrome Web Store seems to be the only Extension Solution to open PDF's from Edge Browsers but all this does is open the document in the installed Application and not within the existing Frame, as the Extension previously would.

  12. Hello,

It would be nice to have the hand tool navigation on touchscreens include options for continuous pinch zoom (at the time of writing, the app zooms in steps) and momentum scrolling.

These features already work using a MacBook touchpad (for example).

    Kind regards.

  13. If a company uses MIP to protect a PDF file and sends that file to an external consumer's (a user at an @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, etc) email address, that user experiences an error when attempting to open the protected document as the Adobe MIP Plugin tries to log the user into the Adobe Inc Azure Active Directory and fails.

While the user can then dismiss the error message and still consume the content, this should be transparent and align with the experience of opening an MIP-protected Office document in the same scenario.

  14. I work with many files in Acrobat Reader, like 5 files, the same files for days together. I would love to have an option where I can make Acrobat remember the files that I opened in the last session and restore the same with a single click (like that we get "Restore" when the program crashes and we open in just after that. This is simple but saves a lot of time from user end.

  15. When the above option is selected the hightlighting of the current bookmark should follow the reading, i.e. the hightlighted bookmark should be synchronous to the currently read text. This was the case in former Readers but does not work any more.

  16. Using Reader DC 2021.001.20145 on Windows 10 (20H2) in Desktop mode (tablet mode off).

When accessing system menu (restore, move, size, minimize, maximize, close) by clicking icon in upper left of window, the menu items work fine. But when accessing the same menu from the taskbar (hover, wait for popup, right-click on pop-up), the functions are ignored (minimize, move, size), act differently (close), or act strangely (maximize).

  17. Hello,

I have usually opened few pdf files on my 3rd monitor (datasheets, manuals, etc - documentation for somethig that I work on right now), I also send inquires and initialize orders for things I need to... When I open pdf with invoices/inquires those files tends to move the Adobe Reader window to my center (primary) monitor and resize it (and change zoom) - it drives me mad.
I did a bit research and this must happens because those files have defined so called "InitialView", so here is my petition:

Add option that prevent window Adobe Reader DC from moving and…

  18. Please add to the app settings the option to add and remove quick actions from the context menu in File Explorer in Windows 10 for PDFs. Since doing it manually through the Registry Editor is very inconvenient.

  19. large file with 2D graphics with areas of transparency is displayed with long delays compared to competing for software. I have Intel UHD 630 graphics and NVidia MX150 which is great for games with full HD resolution. There are also no problems with UHD. On the other hand, displaying in Adobe a 2D file when scrolling, zooming in or out has delays of up to a second!
No options in the graphics acceleration panel. Was not found.
This software uses only one GPU not even in full. Furthermore, 3D graphics work excellent but not 2D.

Try to find any thing by typing in Find input box
then click/Select any letter in Find Input box and try to type
Previous data is getting cleared (very irritating as we have to type again whole thing)
