latest update appears to have broken features
In your recent update these features no longer seem to properly work:
PDF Thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer : this use to show the first page in a PDF as a JPG image. It no longer does.
Text in dialog boxes becomes small when document is open. Can no longer change the size of the fonts in these dialog boxes. They change to very small font sizes when a document is opened, difficult to read

Bug in rendering all caps in a simple document
I attach a simple PDF file allcaps.pdf . The file prints fine. But when rendered on screen, the text in all capitals is not properly rendered. At 400%, it is fine. See 100percent.jpg for the screenshot showing the funky rendering and 400percent.jpg showing that it is fine when zoomed in. The Chrome and Firefox PDF renderers have no issues with this file. This seems to relate to the resolution used in the setting Page Display -> Resolution. If I use system setting (96 pixels/inch) and then set the zoom to 96%, it is fine. If I use a custom setting…

Windows Surface with Pen
I like the annotation experience on the ipad using the apple pencil. However when I try the same experience on the Surface using the Microsoft pen it is harder to use. For one, trying to navigate with your finger to scroll through the pages results in lines being drawn. I think it would be helpful to turn drawing off unless it is being used with the pen. Another thing. there is a button for the ipad to turn annotating on on the bottom right hand corner. On the surface there is not. It is easier to remove the lines on…

Allow selection of multiple comment elements by dragging with the mouse
Similar to Explorer, allow dragging an area as a selection box for comment elements. Selecting multiple elements is only possible by holding CTRL and left clicking, which can get time consuming if you have a bigger number of comments on your documents.

[FEEDBACK] "send report" floater doesn't recognize W10 default Mail app
when clicking "help" > "generate system report" > "send report", the dialog that opens is completely outdated and not usable.
it doesn't recognize the default Mail app on Windows 10, it just prompts me to use a web service like yahoo or gmail.
besides that, the WHOLE adobe reader program is outdated. i'm 1000% sure it has code that is more than 10 years old and it definitely needs to be rewritten from scratch.

Adobe Reader in Preview Pane appears cut off when DPI scaling changes or when moved between monitors with different DPI scaling
When viewing a file with Adobe Reader in the File Explorer preview pane, the file gets cut off if the DPI scaling level changes or if the File Explorer window is dragged between monitors with different DPI scaling levels. This is very annoying as it can make documents chopped off and/or hard to read. It seems to be an issue with Adobe Reader previewer not correctly/responding to scaling changes. As you can see in the image, the previewer is so cut off that you can't even see the controls or the scroll bar.

Screen Filter
I guess this falls under UI? I'm ADHD and it would be SUPER helpful to have a feature where I can dim the screen except for an area I'm currently reading. I read a lot of professional articles and when I go to write a note I completely lose my place. It could be just a static section and as I scroll the section stays the same so I'm effectively moving my page through it. I can cope if I print out the pages, but articles are frequently 12+ pages each and I'd rather save the paper and be able…

Gray outlines around edges of transparent areas in embedded raster images
This issue is best illustrated with an example.
I generated a 5x5 png test image (test1.png) with transparent background and a 1 pixel wide green strip through the middle, embedded it into an svg (test1.svg), converted it to a pdf using inkscape (test1.pdf) and then viewed it in Acrobat Reader DC on windows 10, downloaded and installed today (2020-01-27). The result is shown in the attached image test1_acrobat_windows.png.
Notice how the green band fades first to gray, then to white, instead of fading directly to white. The same pdf file rendered with PDF.js looks like one would expect, as seen…

Fix Issue: Adobe Reader DLL Crash
We have a web based application running on our Citrix environment. We are running Windows Server 2016 (1607) and Citrix VAD 1912 LTSR CU1. The users login to the web based application and eventually it will trigger the opening of a PDF within Internet Explorer. This process will work most the time but we find after the user does anywhere from 7-10 instances of the process Internet Explorer will crash.
We first monitored performance on our server but identified there are no CPU/RAM bottlenecks. We even isolated users to one server to test and they still have the issue. We…

Adobe Reader for Windows IE plugin not allowing ability to send Outlook email from open inbrowser PDF when using share button
This is not an idea, it's a bug report. So when you try to use the "Share" button and "Send As attachment" via an open Adobe plugin PDF file in Internet Explorer, since the latest Office/Outlook update, Adobe is unable to open Outlook as the default mail client. It throws an error trying to open a new email. The next time I look at it I'll grab a screenshot of the error and attach it. It seems that the Adobe plugin for IE in particular does not work well with IE and the latest Outlook version right now.

Drag and drop files
It's incredibly frustrating that a) the Adobe Document Cloud is so slow, and b) one cannot drag and drop files to folders. Organizing my PDFs has literally taken the whole day.

regarding meaning search
If we don't know meaning of the word while reading in a document then there must be search by web option along with the copy tab or you can simply add Dictionary into Adobe so that it will become more user friendly and more helpful to the person who is in need to search that meaning.

Colour-coding in the comments panel
Acrobat Reader allows to highlight text and then enter comments to the highlighted text into the separate panel on the right of the text. I use this feature a lot, when reviewing papers. It would be very handy for me if the comments in the right panel were somehow marked with the same colour as the highlighting in the text. Such feature would allow me easily navigate between the comments later, when making a summary: e.g. first selecting green comments, then red comments etc.

My name is Manu Tarí and I am getting in touch with you because we have a serious problem with Acrobat Reader
We are a designer studio from Alicante, Spain and we have created interactive catalogs in InDesign with videos, sound clips and buttons that have to play movies and in InDesign they work correctly but when exporting the catalog as interactive PDF and opening it in Acrobat Reader they do not work . A month ago the catalogs worked correctly in Acrobat Reader, you could click on a button and it played the video or sound, now not, and…

Show commenting tools in full screen mode or at least allow to move all menus and panes to sides.
I need to see 2 full pages (A4) up on full screen and still be able to do commenting. Standard 16:9 screen has enough space for that. Just allow to move all menus and panes to either left or right side of the screen.
