   should have more pages view example 4 or 6 pages per view as some users use big screen and they can easily fit them using this feature instead of trying to use the zoom function.

6. Please add Adobe Scan to Surface Pro (X)

   Dear Adobe team, please add adobe scan to Microsoft Surface Pro (X).

   At the moment, in order to use Adobe scan, you need to use your cell phone and then upload the scan to the cloud.

   On the one hand this is very time consuming, on the other hand it requires an active internet connection, which cannot always be guaranteed, especially when you are not at home.

   With an integration of Adobe Scan on Surface Pro (X), you could make very fast professional scans offline.

   I know that you have added Adobe Scan to the iPad, which could be compared to the Surface.

   [I know the example is not the best as iPhone and iPad both use the App Store but I'm a bit desperate ^^]

   I really hope that you can integrate this feature because I think that many Surface users would appreciate this possibility.

9. Provide Reader with the Same Permission Capabilities Acrobat Has

   When I click to link to a video clip, Acrobat Pro DC asks my permission since it might harm my PC, and it gives me a box to check to say 'No, don't ask me again'. Also, I can go to Edit > Preferences and say 'Always' grant permission for whichever available players are listed. That solves a serious problem for me since my PDFs have over 100 little video clips in them, and readers will hate having to give permission again and again and again. Unfortunately these capabilities exist only in Acrobat, not in Reader. When I click to open a file in Reader, the permission window does not have a 'Do not ask me again' box, so my readers will see this warning 100+ times. Also Reader has the same Edit > Preferences choices as in Acrobat, but THEY DON'T WORK. I can say 'Always', but it still asks me again and again and again. This may seem like a rare problem, but all the code is already written in Acrobat, and it should be fairly easy to move it into Reader, no? The first two video files in the PDF are attached below. They are linked to the icons on page 6 and 7. But they go through an intermediate folder named _Examples in the book itself. So to test it you would have to put them in a folder with that name, or just re-link them.
   (I know MOV files are deprecated for security reasons, but they are extremely important for this application for two reasons: 1. Readers are linguists who will want to study the videos one frame at a time and apparently only Quicktime has this ability; and 2. The videos are all short - just one sentence each in deaf sign language - and other video players that I have investigated all end with a black screen instead of leaving the last frame visible. This effectively wipes from the reader's memory everything he has just seen. The purpose is for the reader to analyze what he has seen and the black screen will leave leave his mind blank mind as soon as he sees it.)
   If there is any way you could let me know if this requested improvement is given some priority, I would very much appreciate it. And I will be happy to work with your team in any way I can. You can also feel free to remote to my computer and see what I'm taking about.

10. Permit me to configure a background color for searched-for-and-found text

    In some documents, there is by coincidence background colors that are very close to the color that Acrobat uses to enhance the visibility of searched-for text.

    In Acrobat preferences there is no way of changing this background color. For me, searched-for-and-found would be shaded a bright yellow. The default value is nice on a white background, but no use on documents that happen to have a similar (slate blue) color background.

11. Acrobat lite add-on to Reader

    It would be nice if you could make a more affordable version of Acrobat, or an add-on to the Reader, with just TWO capabilities: merge pdfs and password protect. Users like me do not need to modify pdfs, convert from MS Office, sign, etc. etc. etc. And once or twice a month need to merge or password protect so a monthly fee to Adobe is rediculous for occasional use. If built into Reader, which I'm sure you won't do, that would be very nice of you so that users like me could do the simpler tasks without having to use a "free" merger or other means of password protecting a pdf document.

12. FIX Unable to print mixed letter and legal size using a Mac

    This appears to be an ongoing issue for the past several years and I am still experiencing what so many others have found. There is a problem printing a LARGE (100+) PDF with mixed legal and letter sized pages using Adobe Reader on a Mac with a Brother laser printer.

    I think that Adobe support has not been able to recreate the issue because their test file has only two pages. If they create a 100+ page test file with mixed letter and legal and they should be able to replicate the issue.

    Here is what I have:

    I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) running Catalina, Brother HL-L6200DWT printer and using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2020.009.20063. I have all of the settings set correctly per the Adobe: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/print-mixed-page-sizes-acrobat.html
    I contacted Brother support as well and followed the details found at : https://help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/102267
    This included downloading and using the latest drivers from Brother. As instructed I tried both their CUPS driver and the BR-Script driver.
    I have printed using both a direct USB cable and over WiFi.

    When I print a large (100+) PDF file with mixed legal and letter it initially works for the first 10 or 20 pages but eventually the pages get cut off with legal pages being printed half way down the page and/or cut off. It is as though the data being sent to the printer eventually becomes "corrupted" so that it is unable to print correctly.

    Brother support provided a workaround that does work: Rotate the view of all of the pages by 180°, so it looks upside down on the screen.
    Then print the document as usual, and all the pages should print completely.

    Attached is a test.pdf file of multiple mixed size pages that I used to replicate the issue.
    Also attached is a result.pdf which is a scanned result from the printing showing the issue with pages being cut-off / misprinted. Note that the A4 pages are scanned as legal size, but you can still size how they actually printed on the actual paper.

13. Inserting Certificate in Right Aligned mode reverts Date & Time strings

    When creating a new certificate there is the option to "right align" the entries. In the preview it seemed to invert the position of Name and Date/Time fields (which is what I was looking for, actually), and the strings looked good. After having inserted the signature and reviewing the stored document the actual date and time strings read backwards (c.f. screenshot attached: top row "auto" alignment, bottom row "right" alignment).
    While the reverted strings may be a bug, the actual feature request would be to have two options:
    - left / right center alignment of the entries, if you consider 50%/50% split of the signature field
    - order reversion Name / Date to Date / Name (at whichever alignment)
    The ordering would have priority for me. Centering usually should work best as default alignment.

14. An error occurs when printing with the command ( Acrobat Reader DC ver.20.012.20041 ).

    Acrobat Reader DC was updated to ver.20.012.20041 the other day.

    Since then, the following error message appears when printing with the command.

    Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has stopped working
    The program did not work properly due to a problem.

    The program will close and Windows will notify you if there is a solution

    Printing is done just by issuing a message.

    The command I am using is:

17. ******** couldn't save could have lost a day's work stupid POS

    someone already said it Ill say it again **, I just wanted to SAVE. To use the SAVE function which has presumably existed and been replicated successfully on every other word processing program and PDF editor. Nice little gadgets and ads ** *** too bad I CANT SAVE ANYTHING.

    I am using an up-to-date Windows 10 computer.

19. Bug: Reader DC v20.012.20041 crashing on open for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2

    Serveral users in different environments having issues with the August 2020 update. Reader DC no longer works to open PDFs. Uninstall and Reinstall, and repair have not fixed the issue. Issue exists on Windows 8.1 systems and Windows Server 2012 R2. Issue occurs when attempting to open PDFs. On some uninstall and reinstall, tests of opening PDFs are successful, and then start failing again.

    Realy sorry to hear about the issue that you are facing with the Latest Reader when trying to open the PDFs.

    We would like you to kindly share the requested Procmon logs(as shared in the previous replies) with us so that the engineering Team can start actively working on the issue that you are facing.

    Also we would want to do a Web-Conference session as soon as possible where we would also debug the issue virtually on your machine for fixing.

20. Can't open second File

    Adobe Acrobat DC cannot open a second file. This bug should be fixed.
