Allow users to deselect the McAfee offering
I was not given an option to unselect the McAfee security offering at install. I only wanted Reader and nothing else but it installed all so I had to go through the uninstall process for the McAfee portion.

Permanently keep comment toolbar open in adobe reader dc
It's very essential more than helpful to stick the comment toolbar always on the menu so that we do not have to open it each time we open a document.

Change behavior of middle mouse wheel button
Currently, click-hold and dragging with the middle mouse button results (hand symbol with four arrows) in the document scrolling at a (rather extreme) rate of speed that is determined how far away your cursor is from where you first clicked the button. The document will scroll continuously until you either move your cursor back closer to its initial location, or release the mouse button.
I would much prefer the behavior to be like what you get when you hold space and then click and drag with the left mouse button. I.e., you "drag" the document around with the mouse, and…6 votes -

Allow the clicking of the mouse wheel to enable scrolling via the mouse.
With all the programs I have tested I can click my mouse wheel and enable scrolling by moving my mouse. With Adobe Reader when I click the mouse wheel a hand icon appears with four arrows. As long as I hold the mouse wheel down I can scroll the document. What I am asking for is that the program have the feature so that I can release the mouse wheel and be able to scroll. With other programs this works until I depress a button, move the mouse wheel, or click the mouse wheel which resets the mouse scroll.

Single Purchase Option for Occasional Users
I would like to turn a certain PDF into a .jpg and I do not anticipate a need to do this again in the near future. Seems a little out of touch to expect anyone to pay $15.00 for a month and “potentially” hundreds of dollars to use a service only once or twice in a year.
On your most economical plan, Adobe receives about half of a dollar per day and allows an unlimited number of document conversions , as well as other services.Adobe should offer an alternative payment schedule of $1.00 per document,
up to, $3.00 for…6 votes -
Bug: Links to a rotated page fail to hit the right page
With pdflatex we've created a document with a single rotated page. We've tried several PDF viewers, which work as expected, but Acrobat Reader (tested version 2024.001.20604 and some others) jumps to the wrong page when any of the hyperlinks are clicked on the TOC, the navigation bookmarks, or in the text.
We've created a MWE that can be generated in overleaf (https://www.overleaf.com/read/yfwhpwjdcfvk#3d8e17). I attach also the PDF document showing the problem.
Other PDF viewers tested, which work fine are: okular, evince, google PDF viewer, Edge PDF viewer, some Android and iPhone viewers, which jump fine to the expected…

New Layout is utterly counterproductive
New layout of Adobe Reader is utterly counterproductive, and makes everyday use of Adobe Reader much slower and confusing.
I, as well as many other users I know, am using Bookmarks and Pages in at least 95% of times when I use Reader. Therefore, they should be placed on the left, where they are expected to be (it is simply a standard for similar "master-detail" situations).
Also, primary tools, like paging, zoom-in and -out, are placed in a bottom-right corner, just like they were hiding?! But these are the basic tools, and they must be placed centrally, either on top…5 votes -
Enabling Latex for Annotations such as Comments and Textboxes
It would be great if comments could display Latex, i.e. rendering and displaying the math properly. Currently commenting with mathematical equations is a pain and just forces us to read the Latex source rather than seeing the rendered math.
This might be easily added using a service like mathjax.

Add preferance setting or option to not show tools or bookmarks by default for all documents
There should be an option to open files/adobe with Tools and Bookmarks NOT enabled. It is very annoying and inefficient to close those 2 windows every time i open Adobe to read a PDF. See pic of how files open by default, not very useful to see the document contents with a smaller window/screen without closing the undesired left/right bars.

Update causes inefficient editing
The new update created inefficiencies for those of us up primarily use Adobe Reader for notating edits. The old tools allowed for highlight-and-type or click-and-type text replacement or insertion and the new version makes you select the tool and then the text/placement EACH time.
The "replace text" tool isn't even in the quick tools when text is initially highlighted. Personally, I'm very unhappy with the commenting updates and think the old functionality was MUCH better.5 votes -

Provide the option of enabling a second row of Toolbars to be shown
Sometimes after 2021, the 2nd row of toolbars were removed and seemingly replaced by QuickTools. However QuickTools, albeit it's name, is less proficient than having the second row of tools available, in sight, and ready to be clicked.
Specifically, all I'm asking for is to bring back what was taken away just so that its inclusion can be set by the user. Personally, I'm on the side of a person who uses Adobe Acrobat Pro to edit documents and find that for the number of tools I use often, they're not as quickly accessible when having to click on a…

Bug: quick print fails to print (non-default permissions)
Failing in 32 & 64 bit versions 2023.001.20093 and 2023.001.10143 on Windows Server 2019 Remote Desktop Session Host (untested on other environments)
Brief: Users with print rights assigned via a group, not direct permissions (see caveat below), quick print will open Reader but does not send a job to the printer (only Acrobat Reader, file types to other apps quick print fine)
Extensive details (I have procmon captures too)
Normal printing works fine. If they open a file with any application and file > print or CTRL+P etc. it prints successfully. Quick print opens Acrobat Reader, but in non-working scenarios…

Ensure interactive features of a PDF document works when being viewed through a browser
This issue happens with keyboard-only and screen reader users.
When exporting, saving or publishing a document as a PDF, the interactive features within that document (such as hyperlinks) don't work when the PDF is viewed in a browser (any browser). The only way an interactive PDF works as intended is when it is opened with Acrobat Reader.
There must be an issue between the interactivity within a PDF and how browsers render that PDF document for accessibility. Can this be fixed so it doesn't matter whether a user has Acrobat or uses a browser to view a PDF and interact…

Use system default cursors!
It is absolutely unacceptable that the Acrobat Reader changes the system cursor, and doesn't allow for some method of disabling this!
It shows that Adobe have ZERO respect for their customers.I have a vision impairment. I have changed my Windows cursor to a very visible, fat, red cursor, because otherwise I lose track of where it is. But Adobe's opinion on that is "********!!!!" apparently.
Why?
Why do you hate your customers, Adobe?

BUG: EUTL corrupted by default
If addressbook.acrodata is generated by updating Adobe Approved Trust List (AATL), EUTL will be corrupted. The default behavior of Adobe Reader when opening a signed document for the first time is to prompt for update of AATL. This causes EUTL to stop working and can only be solved by deleting addressbook.acrodata and update EUTL and AATL in the correct order.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
2. Open a document signed with an EUTL certificate.
3. Accept the prompt for Trust Certificates Update.Environment:
Freshly installed clean VM with Windows 10 20H2(19042.985)

Saving PDF in one click only
I would like to be able to save a PDF in only one click.
Currently, I have to click 3 times. I click on save.
1. The 'Save as' windows open (this window is a fraud btw).
2. Then I have to click on the folder that I want.
3. Then I have to confirm the file name in the right folder.
Other softwares (such as Foxit) allow to simply save in one click my PDF in its original folder. As simple as that.
