Have PDF open in Adobe NOT in Edge browser
Q Following is a question on opening PDFs using the Edge browser. Adobe Acrobat is my default app for opening PDFs in Edge. The document opens in a new browse window. I much prefer the way Chrome and Firefox open PDFs: open using Adobe desktop app i.e. not in a browser window. With Edge, the document opens in an Edge tab, you then have to click “Open in Desktop app” and u then go back to your browser and close the document window in the browser. I sense there MUST be a way to have Edge behave the same way as Chrome and Firefox when opening PDFs. I would really appreciate knowing what settings to change. (Have tried everything I could think of).
1. FYI: 1. In options extensions, I already have pen in Adobe enabled (disabling it made no difference).
2. I am using Win 10 Pro, all updates done (all updates in Edge also done).
