Brent, I suggest using MS Word or Notepad to create a document for such canned responses. You can open up the Word/Notepad file, locate the desired response, copy the text, and paste the text where needed in the Acrobat file. If you keep the Word/Notepad file open - but its window is minimized or underlies other windows - its toolbar icon will be easily accessed.
Remember, a Notepad file is plain text. It will not have Word's formatting for special characters that may or may not be replicated in Acrobat.

    Hi,

We are delighted to share with you that Acrobat and Reader Desktop release for DC Continuous (21.007.20091) is Live now and this Takes care of the Feature Request to Change the Display Size of the Acrobat without changing the Scaling/Resolution of the machine. This can be Done from “View” → “Display Size”. For now this is avaialble for windows only.

More Info Here : https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/whats-new.html and go to “Change Acrobat Display Size”

Please update your Acrobat (It should Auto update or you should do Help → Check for updates) and let us know your Feedback.

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

From Carl Alexander to Admin (Mr. Jain?),
I want to comment on this issue also. The Recent list would be more useful if:
    1. It automatically dropped a listing when a file is deleted.
    2. Updated/followed a moved file.
    3. Updated or erased listing (user preference) when Acrobat is shut down or restarted.
    4. Allowed a sort by selection on the name, size, or date viewed.
    5. Updated when switching between list view and thumbnail view.
