    This is a critical and overlooked component that Adobe needs to address. Microsoft has nearly dropped all support for basic auth as it is an insecure method of authentication. I'm honestly surprised Microsoft allows for re-enablement for third-party apps. It is only a matter of time until they remove this option.

    All that said, re-enabling basic auth in the Sharepoint admin center is a workaround and is not ideal from an infosec perspective.
