I work in Social Services. I require a signature following each visit with a client; it is not appropriate to save the signature, as only my signature should be saved on my computer. I must have this signature in black ink, and most of my clients do not have computers. My work laptop does not have a "drawing pen." I do not have the option of printing documents when I am in a client's home, and rules state that documents should remain digital.
You should be able to have a client sign off on a document, using their finger or the mouse. It does not matter if it is not a preferred method, when it is the only thing that is available to the end user. This signature cannot not be pink, and extremely thick. However, this is my only option in Acrobat for Google Drive.
