That does sound frustrating! Software updates sometimes make things feel less intuitive instead of more efficient. Have you checked if there's a setting in Adobe to bring back the old print behavior? Maybe a keyboard shortcut like Ctrl+P (Cmd+P on Mac) could help speed things up. Hopefully, they reconsider and bring back the simpler workflow in a future update!
On the topic of printing, I recently learned about deli paper for Gelli printing https://www.customdelipaper.net/deli-paper-for-gelli-printing/it’s a great way to create unique textures and patterns in art projects. Might be worth exploring if you're into creative printing methods!
