This is basically an essential need for teams to manage work at scale. Sharing each individual document with each member of the team 1 by 1, every time is an unscalable nightmare.
Ideally - storage structure would be shared among all team members automatically. But sharing folders and their contents would at least be a start.
it doesn't help that you can do this with synced local files - but not cloud documents. It's all very confusing.
