  2. AI Insanity!

Provide a verifiable way to completely remove AI Assistant in Adobe Reader. I do not want an AI anything capturing any financial or other privacy related documents and processing them in the cloud, especially in Beta form. Most users will not read to the point of understanding the cloud aspect of this. This is a ridiculous and even dangerous function to offer, promote and even present to the general user.

  3. Actually make disabling the AI assistant, disable the AI assistant. I have the AI assistant disable in the settings, but I still get pop-ups asking to summarize the documents I am trying to read. These pop-ups both block the material I am trying to read and reduces the usability of the basic program, like scrolling. Also that little chat bar at the bottom should not exist when the assistant is disabled. Please for the love of God fix this. Not everything needs AI help. If I want AI help, I'll use Chat GPT

  4. Hi. Can the pelicans that manage the programming department at Adobe, please let the programmers stop concentrating on useless rubbish like the 'AI assistant' (I don't need assistance reading PDFs in your mediocre program and I definitely don't need help from 'AI') and instead do some work on things like making the 'convert to XLS' feature actually work, rather than crashing the program every time I try to use it.

  5. I am annoyed and distracted by the constant prompts to use Adobe's Generative AI feature. I do not want this feature. I have disabled the feature. But I still see a brightly colored button advertising it every time I open Adobe. What is worse, when I try to do a simple search, I get another prompt encouraging me to use Generative AI. I already pay $20/month for Acrobat. I should not have view ads on software I am paying for. But Adobe repeatedly forces me to view what is essentially an ad for an feature I do not want. It's…

  6. To manually convert an OST file to a PST file, first, open Microsoft Outlook and go to "File" > "Open & Export"> "Import/Export." Select "Export to a file," choose "Outlook Data File (.pst)," and then select your OST file to export.

Alternatively, you can use Sysinfo OST to PST Converter which is the finest and most efficient utility for converting an OST file into an Outlook PST file with 100% accuracy and no data loss is a versatile software that not only converts OST to PST but also supports other formats such as MBOX, PDF, JSON, and more. This multi-functional…

  7. Running Acrobat Reader, 2025.001.20432. Existing (eMSN) pdf files have no actual content and show only header & footer like content. Those eMSN pdf files display just fine when using Mac's Preview. HW: iMac 27" late 2015 running macOS 12.7.6

  8. Get that damned AI Assistant button OFF the top of my screen! It keeps popping up right over top of the scroll bar, making it impossible to quickly advance through the first page of a document -- right when all the introductory material I want to skim past is there. Why can't this thing be removed or disabled? The last thing I need is a summary made by a bot with the intelligence of your average high-schooler. This is the most annoying software add-on since "Clippy".

  9. If I change the Simulation Preview profile in the Output Preview panel, it used to be that I would see my color simulated as if it printed/displayed in the other environment. Now, however, it's actually changing the color values to keep the same appearance. This is a bad idea. We need a way to turn this off or at least toggle it.

I'm currently seeing this behavior in the 2024 version. I'm not sure with which version this changed.

  10. Don't open bookmarks by default!

When opening a document that has bookmarks embedded in it, the bookmarks panel opens automatically (and slowly) and takes up a third of the screen. It's infuriating, takes several seconds before it can be closed, and is completely pointless. Ditch it, or make it take up a tiny fraction of the screen space. I hate the way Acrobat prioritizes bookmarks over every other aspect of the interface.

  11. Strange behavior on Windows 11 taskbar when uncombined. As you can see in the attached video, the Adobe Acrobat icon is duplicated when shifting the windows to another monitor and stays like that until I close the app and open it again.
It becomes very annoying when opening many files such as 5 or more. The taskbar will be full of Acrobat.

  12. Please give an option to EASILY get rid of the AI Assistant (beta) feature. Ever since installing the latest update, my Acrobat Pro runs SUPER slowly. I don't actually need AI to read documents. I do need Acrobat to be able to scroll without freezing constantly. Otherwise, what's the point of paying for Acrobat when there are tools that scroll perfectly fine for free?

The new UI is fine otherwise, but I had to disable it (View > Disable new Acrobat) just so I could scroll through documents without Acrobat freezing constantly since you added that AI Assistant feature.

  14. When using documents larger than 1000 pages the counter does not correctly display the current sheet position, e.g. "105 / 1050", it should display "1050 / 1050".

  15. Your AI is not allowing me to do my job as efficiently as possible. The constant pop-ups are frustrating and interrupt my work. I do not need everything I am looking at to be summarized. I do not need everything I am looking at to be rewritten. I do not need your AI assistance to interrupt me when I am working. Allow people to disable this. It is so frustrating and so many other people are also frustrated by it. Please start listening to your customers.

  18. With the latest update, not all PDF files are displayed correctly.
Problem occurs with me and our end customers under Windows.
The fonts are no longer displayed correctly in terms of character spacing and font size.
The same PDF files worked before the update and continue to work in other programs for displaying a PDF.
The EDocPrintPro PDF printer is used in my case, but I cannot rule out that other PDF printers are affected.
In my example in the appendix I have inserted test data and assigned a different available font to each text. The problem occurs with most…

  19. My website is up and running, but something isn’t feeling right. Users are visiting, yet engagement is staying low. Is it the navigation? Share your thoughts. Do you know what are some of the best places to find UX design ideas that are truly enhancing user interaction? How should I face this situation?
