    With Acrobat Reader version: 2023.003.20201 64-bit, I still encounter an error attempting to open pdf files with long path: "There was an error while opening the document. The path does not exist. ".

    Other viewers, such as those built in browsers (Chrome, Edge) open the pdf file with a long path without any difficulties.

    The path length limitation of 260 characters was removed from Windows starting W10 version 1607. Refer also to: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/fileio/maximum-file-path-limitation?tabs=registry#enable-long-paths-in-windows-10-version-1607-and-later
