I use Reader to test the fillable forms I create in Acrobat Pro. It is critical to be able to run the two programs together, otherwise there is no real ability to check the user experience.
If the application is free, and there is no way to 'emulate' Reader in Pro then what's the point of having a conflict between the two. What should it matter to Adobe if if means we are using your products?
