  1. With the latest update, not all PDF files are displayed correctly.
    Problem occurs with me and our end customers under Windows.
    The fonts are no longer displayed correctly in terms of character spacing and font size.
    The same PDF files worked before the update and continue to work in other programs for displaying a PDF.
    The EDocPrintPro PDF printer is used in my case, but I cannot rule out that other PDF printers are affected.

  2. When inserting form fields, Acrobat classic had a pushpin icon in the toolbar called "keep tool selected." With that enabled, after choosing and inserting one form field, the tool stayed active so you could insert more fields. But you had the option to disable it and just insert one field at a time.

    In the new experience, it seems the tool staying active to insert multiple fields is the default. That is fine in itself, but there isn't a way to turn it off so you can insert fields individually.

  4. Allow option to choose font, font size, etc. when fields are created so I don't have to go back and change all of the fields to the format I use. This can be several hundred times per document and it would sure save me some time and effort.

  5. It is critical to have the opportunity to install Reader and Acrobat on the same computer. What moron decided to limit installing one or the other???

    Imagine you're a forms designer for the US Government IRS department where hundreds of PDF forms are hosted on the .gov web site. Each and every form needs to be tested to work properly in Adobe Reader before deploying the forms.

    Or imagine the poor forms designer who creates forms for clients. You can't expect people to purchase two computers and running a virtual mode is just a pain when one has to go…

  7. this.getField("FormField").setFocus();
    This JavaScript is now broken as there is some api that loads in the background that steals the form focus one or two seconds after the form loads.
    It could be the uservoice feedback button as this loads at the same time that the form focus is stolen from the form.

  8. When I prepare a form (Mac), I want to be able to choose the font size for all the text fields instead of having it default to Auto. I also want to be able to batch change font size in multiple text fields instead of having to do it one by one. Thanks for listening!

  9. Current version of Acrobat Reader is trash. It freezes for several seconds EVERY time I open it. It's to the point where I'm now making the effort to only close individual PDFs, rather than closing Acrobat altogether, so I don't have to wait through the "start-up freeze" several times a day.

    Additionally, forms have been acting strange in some cases. We have some forms where you can type stuff into a field, and as soon as you click out, the field goes blank. Then if you click in, the text is back. But that's pretty stupid, you should be able…

  10. HDFC Securities Ltd generates reports in PDF form. Those PDF files dont open at my end where I have Acrobat Reader ver 2023.008.20421. When I checked with their technical team, they confirm that those files open seamlessly on Reader XI. Can you please confirm whether it's an issue of backward compatibility with latest Acrobat reader or some issues that need to be fixed at HDFC Securities Ltd end.

  11. In improvement like AI focus you forgot the basics of PDF users, i made changes into my documents and wanted to save with other name but there is no option SAVE AS only save copy. Suggest me another PDF app to use for basic day to day us which will not waste my time and efforts

During a support call this evening with one of your Senior Technical Representatives, I asked if a Fillable Form could be printed without the Fill Color appearing when users print their completed text-entry forms. She indicated that this option does not currently exist, but she thought it could be a great feature request to inquire about. She strongly suggested that I send this request along for consideration.   13. Have been creating a fillable PDF. Go to test the flow and fill in the fields. Instead of being able to tab to the next field, when tabbing it brings up a comment and inserting into the base artwork for comment! How do I stop this from happening?

  15. I'm unable to type in any text box because all fields are being recognized as signature fields. Sometimes the program will briefly recognize it as a text field right at startup for a second, the then program flickers as if it's finished loading and all fields are recognized as form fields. The fields are titled appropriately (highlighted text in screenshot), none of the fields are titled 'signature'. This started mid-morning after using the forms correctly a few times. I since restarted the app and my computer, and checked for updates, with no help.

As a senior, I am inundated with all sorts of documents now , from pensions, investments, government forms etc, etc, etc. I have poor writing skills and I need help with understanding some of this stuff- so it's important that I have some help Please consider us pensioners in this fast changing world we live in.

  18. Allow the toolbar to expand and minimize (hide the toolbar) to maximize the working area. As of right now there is no way to make the toolbar section smaller or to hide it. When trying to make the toolbar smaller it exits out of the tool being used for the PDF and it will only work if the toolbar stays open. It would be beneficial to have more workspace than to have 1/4 of the screen taken up by the tool bar.

  20. When using the Prepare Form tool, the program crashes. I first tried the autoo detect, then turned that off and the first text field I placed made the program crash. I am on the latest up to date version, windows 11
