  1. Font tracking in Forms to allow better readability

Allow users to create more readable text forms when using smaller font sizes. Give us the ability to set the tracking (space between the characters).

    Not everyone is young!

    Cheers!

    • Read-only fields selectable in PDF form

When creating a form in Acrobat Pro DC, fields set to be read-only and locked can still receive focus while they should be skipped and their contents be unselectable. This happens even when the PDF is saved as Reader Extended with "enable more tools", regardless of whether the resulting PDF is opened in Acrobat Pro or Adobe Reader (DC)

      • Bug..Mac High Sierra - transparency option no longer available in properties for cells/appearance

I have been preparing forms and creating text boxes, check boxes etc for some time now.
Recently, I am unsure if was a recent update or because I have updated to highSierra on my mac, there is no longer a 'transparent' option available.

        • New Document Preparation automatic tool

I would like to be able to select the Font, Font Size & the type of check box Adobe DC uses when a document is being prepared automatically. Currently I must go in and manually change these attributes each time a new document is prepared. I use font size 12, Font type Helvelica Bold and a square for the check box. Don't understand why a tool was created that only does half the job. I need to be able to change these 3 attributes to the default before I run the prepare form tool.

          • Check Box Tool Suggestion!

When you use the Check Box Tool to manually create the Check Boxes that the program could not detect when you run the Prepare Form Tool and say there is a whole row of them going from left to right or even up and down and they are all in line with each other that there would be something you could click on to when you right click inside the check box that you just created to be able to detect that and have it done automatically for you at that point since it takes way too long to do…

            • Emailing completed webforms - can't do it - why bother?

I created a nice form, loaded it to the web, tested it and when I clicked the "Submit" button - nada! Researched, tried other methods and when I finally called support, I was told that Acrobat DC can't/won't email completed pdf forms from the web! But maybe it would work if I could find someone who could code the javascript for me. So I found the javascript (I can do some coding) and this.maildoc() doesn't work.

Why bother with this? It was a huge waste of time. There are on-line pdf form companies that charge less and claim to offer…

              • Circular Form Fields for Text

As designers, we love to push the envelope. For interactive PDFs, can we have a form field option that is circular. The text is centered within the circle, can handle Auto text sizing, the font can be specified, and the leading/line spacing can be set tighter than the current default.

                  • Font Size in Fillable Form Text Box bigger than 300pt

Font Size in Fillable Forms Text Box should have no limitation for size. Currently the limitation font size is 300pt and I constantly create Signs and Banners that use fonts size bigger that 300pt.

                    • I need to darken the text for a light object, but that is apparently impossible.

Adobe Acrobat used to have a feature to darken text. What happened?

                      • Tab order feature

The field view is entirely too small to manually edit tab order. This should either be a separate pane or perhaps a pop-out window. I easily have over 100 fields on one page and it's impossible to order them as I need to (by column, within a section or rows of fields). Default tab ordering structures (By Row, By Column) are not useful here. Need more flexibility to set tab order manually.

                          • Acrobat XI Pro crashes in some forms after update to 11.0.21

After updating Acrobat XI Pro to 11.0.21, a form that previously worked now crashes when undertaking different actions. The same form works in Acrobat XI Pro 11.0.20, and the latest version of Acrobat DC Pro (as at 08/18/2017. The crashes occur when selecting an item from a drop-down list [the crash occurs at a point in the script where a rawValue is extracted from a checkbox, i.e. Page.SubForm.Checkbox.rawValue; however, even creating a variable referencing the Page, i.e. var page1 = Page; appears to create the error.] It also crashes when closing a page, event.target.closeDoc(true).

Adobe Acrobat XI, while editing PDF form, when you add a button, in properties I want to add trigger, Mouse Enter, after selecting it, when I try to select other options, it turns to Mouse Up.
So, button works in only one mode. I cannot change it to be active by click, only by mouse up (which leads to accidental resets of PDF form)

                                • Per-document Highlight Form Field setting

Highlight Form Field function draws over the form field so instead of a nice button I get an ugly blue/red rectangle that is acting buggily anyway. It makes the document useless and I have to find a different solution than pdf questionnaire. Forcing people to switch it in some advanced menu is out of question. This feature should be on per-document basis with possible override in Acrobat preferences where you specifically state that you want to override document settings.

                                  • Some borders don't show up in Word forms that are converted to pdf

I am using Acrobat XI Pro. When I convert Word forms to pdf, part or all of some of the border lines in tables is covered up by white lines. I have to go into Tools>Content Editing>Edit Text & Images, enlarge the file to about 200%, and delete each white line to get the border line to show up completely or at all. I have hundreds of forms to create and maintain in my job, and whatever is going on needs to be fixed or explained because I don't have time to delete white lines covering the borders each time…
