    I can confirm that Acrobat version is 2025-001-2053 does hold on to files for write access. I often have to close acrobat completely to have write access to the file from other tools. Just closing the tab with that file does not work.

    It is kind of ironic - 90% of the time you dont want to _write_ to the file but never the less write access is claimed.

    Very annoying indeed. Should be fixed.
