  1. PDF text disappears in Acrobat Application but opens fine in Acrobat for web

    Does anyone else have this issue of opening a PDF in the Acrobat application, and the text disappears, but when you open it in the Acrobat for web or in the preview app, its totally fine. Like what am I paying $25 a month for if the Web version is more reliable.

    Have tried to do all the suggested check for updates/ embed text/ remove security settings etc etc but still haven't been able to get it to work

  2. Could you please just STOP CHANGING THINGS?

    I had to spend A FULL HOUR OF MY WORK DAY today just trying to figure out how to add text to a PDF. Why? Because the "Add Text" and "Edit Text" features have now changed such that, instead of adding text where you click, they open up a bunch of raster layers which totally destroy the entire document if you try to type in them.

    Every time I used the "Add Text" or "Edit Text" it would rearrange all of the text of the form I was trying to fill out in ways that turned the entire document into…

  4. Help that actually works

    I'm looking for help for a particular feature. I don't want a ******* tutorial. The help panel is ******* useless. I want to type in the feature i need, and have options from there. Instead, you present me with this panel full of mostly irrelevant options. In particular, the crop tool should actually CROP SOMETHING. Instead, i've got a keyline with handles of some kind around the part of the page I want to crop.

  5. stop repeatedly OCRing my file

    You pieces of *, when I hit cancel converting to editable text, that means I don't want it. Not **** keep doing it every time I rotate the page.

  6. RUINED! the program i liked to use. Currently cannot wait to replace adobe with another product because the "IMPROVEMENTS" are killing me.

  7. Go back to the previous version

    Do the people who created this new software ever use Adobe Pro? It is terrible. The user interface was better with the previous version, editing a document has become extremely difficult. I am going to have to see if my company will switch to a competitor. Only reason we use Adobe is because we are a very large Microsoft customer and I guess Adobe is often teamed with Microsoft.

  8. Font Suddenly Not Showing

    Font is not showing in certain areas of PDF while other images are. Issue is occurring with 20 users on Adobe Acrobat for Mac. All are up to date, Replace Document Colors is not On. Security is off. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no change.

  9. Text recognition

    Please stop auto text recognition when I click on edit PDF by default. This function causes the file to freeze especially if I am working with large documents that contain layouts or drawings. It wastes a huge amount of time to wait until the application restarts again after a long freeze.

  12. Tibetan font not available for editing or typing text

    If I try to type new text in Tibetan font, nothing will type.

    I am trying to add text to a pdf when I want to make translation notes, but when I type using the Windows Tibetan keyboard nothing happens. No letters or even spaces come out when I type. This is frustrating.

  13. Bug: Acrobat Pro Edits Timeout in Photoshop

    When editing a page containing a bitmap in Acrobat Professional using the "Edit in Photoshop" button, changes are lost if the file isn't saved in some period of time (maybe 20 minutes). After this time, saving changes in Photoshop and closing the page causes all edits to be lost. Before the time, any edits in Photoshop are reflected back in the page in Acrobat.

    This bug is particularly painful after spending 30 minutes cleaning up a scanned music image and having all the work lost. I've taken to doing a Select All and Copy just before closing each edited page.…

  14. Open SharePoint URL in full Adobe Acrobat

    We recently switched from a file server environment into SharePoint. A problem our team members have is that they are unable to share a link to a PDF, and have that PDF open directly into Adobe Acrobat. We have the browser extension, and can open directly to Adobe Acrobat if they select "Open -Open with App" but that only works they open the file directly from SharePoint. In our case, they are using shared links. Having the option to open those files directly into full Adobe Acrobat would save our teams a lot of time.

  15. Remove watermark or same object on every page

    E-001599982—We had an expert session, but they could not find a solution for us. As a law firm, we often receive PDFs with watermarks, and we have to remove them. Most of the watermarks appear as objects. We need the capability to find and remove the object from all pages. We deal with PDFs that have 50-4000 pages. It's very time-consuming to remove the watermark on every page.

  16. Choosing a default font for "Prepare Form"

    Editing auto generated form text fields for a long document is a NIGHTMARE.

    why on earth would i have to MANNUALY change EACH and every field?

    what's the use of the preferences being set to a font i prefer for it just to be reverted back to Helvetica?

    Either you unify the font preferences or just make a section for form preparation font to allow us to choose for it as well

    it's insane that i have to waste so much time editing tons of fields on just switching fonts when a simple solution of a "one button click" is…

  18. link to an attached file, in a .pdf

    Currently in Acrobat on Windows 11, I can create a link to
    - another view within my document, or
    - an URL, or
    - a file on my computer.

    There is no way to create a link to a file that is attached to my document. This has been verified by Customer Support.
    I want to create a link to a file that is attached to my document.
    (NOT to a file on my computer, or on the internet!)

  19. Bounding Boxes

    What absolute hot garbage the bounding box system is.
    Each time I open my document up to do further edits Adobe has decided to link unrelated text together into new bounding boxes, ignoring the ones I had put the text into.
    I don't want, nor need, Adobe to do this for me. It's frustrating and makes getting my work done significantly more difficult.

  20. format copier/paint brush

    It would be nice to have an easy way to make the font, color and text style match that on the document being edited. This feature would be similar to the format painter option used in Microsoft Excel. The user keys the text edits and select a word or two from the documents existing text. Once highlighted, right click the text selection, and select copy format, and then they would select the text they added, right click on it and have an option to "copy format here" or something like that.
