  3. Editing structured PDFs in Acrobat is still frustrating, especially for real-world documents like EV battery reports, diagnostics, and technical logs.

Trying to update simple things like values in tables, charging data, or performance metrics often breaks formatting, misaligns content, or requires rebuilding sections manually. For documents that are updated regularly, this becomes a constant pain.

Acrobat should handle these use cases much better.

    Key improvements needed:

Proper table-aware editing (not just text boxes)
Stable formatting when updating numbers or data fields
Easier editing of repeated report structures
Better handling of technical layouts without breaking the document

    As more industries rely…

  4. I'm so disapointed in this roll out of AI features. It completely bogs down Acrobat. Every time I go to edit text, something very simple, it has to generate a whole new menu and even ask me if it wants it to create an image, every. single. time.

I've disabled it multiple times and it keeps coming back. You can tell there are new things running in the background tied to the menu, help, and AI Assistant.

Acrobat used to be one of my favorite platforms, I could just about do anything in it. Now I can barely do anything…

  5. Editing text: pasting text onto pdf ends up with letters very widely spaced and unreadable. Prior version did not have this undesirable feature. Through trial/error, I found this could be avoided by extra step of selecting "0" on the "VA" menu button, even though it says "0" to start with. Ironically it says "0" as default, but if I do not set it to "0" again (even though the default shows "0"), "VA" now will read "14" for my copy-pasted text edit, and individual letters are so far apart as to be unreadable. It would be nice to revert to…

  8. When extracting pages, right now it prompts me to "Browse Folders" where to save. it then extracts the pages one by one into whatever folder I chose. I need to go combine the pages then rename the file... It's very tedious when we have several times of extracting... Would like an option so when clicking Extract page, I can use the address bar on top to navigate the path/folder i want asap, then hopefully be able to rename the pdf and then save as one whole file. Thank you so much.

  9. After the latest update, several problems occur when working in Adobe Acrobat Reader:

It is not possible to select text by clicking and dragging the cursor.
It is not possible to paste copied text into the document.
It is not possible to resize text boxes/fields.
Instead, the text wraps to a new line instead of allowing the text box to be expanded.
It is not possible to drag a tab out of the window to open it in a new window, which prevents working with multiple PDF files side by side.

These issues significantly impact usability and make normal PDF…

  10. [Windows / v26.1] Floating IME input box at top left when typing Japanese

    Environment:

    OS: Windows

    App: Adobe Acrobat (Version 26.1)

    Description:
When I am typing in Japanese using IME on Windows, a small input box pops up at the top left corner of the screen instead of displaying the text at the cursor position.

This in-line IME display bug makes Japanese text editing very difficult. Please fix this issue.

  11. Installed fonts should appear in the Acrobat font list and be available for use when adding text.

Microsoft fonts such as Arial, Calibri, and Times New Roman appear, but installed third-party fonts such as Star Strella and Dancing Script do not appear anywhere in the font list.

    Troubleshooting performed:

    Repaired Acrobat installation.
    Restarted Windows.
    Reinstalled fonts.
    Installed fonts for all users.
Verified fonts are present in Windows Fonts and available in Microsoft Word.
    Tested multiple third-party fonts.
Tested in a newly created blank PDF.

This appears to be an Acrobat font detection/enumeration issue because the fonts are properly installed and…

  13. I've been using Adobe Acrobat Pro to review and mark up engineering drawings, and I wanted to share my experience with the latest release.

Today I needed to perform a very simple task: add a double-ended dimension arrow and a text label to a PDF drawing. What should have taken around two minutes instead took well over half an hour.

The main issue was not a lack of functionality, but that the functionality was extremely difficult to discover.

The ⋯ button on the toolbar opens Customize Toolbar, which naturally led me to believe that this was where I needed to…

  14. Your new design is Horrendous. I can't find anything. Why do you shuffle everything around and hide all the most useful tools so no one can find them. Do you delight in making your users crazy? Not to mention terribly inefficient - it takes me 5 times longer to create and edit a document and even then it's not how I want it to appear. I often have to just save and move the file to my old PC and work off my old Adobe Acrobat (in no time it turns out just how I want it!!). Who on earth…

  18. I would like to provide feedback regarding the Edit panel in the new Adobe Acrobat interface.

When I click “Edit PDF,” the Edit panel on the left side takes up a large portion of the screen. The problem is that there is no option to collapse or resize this panel while remaining in Edit mode.

If I click the “X” button to close the panel, Acrobat exits Edit mode completely. When I click the Edit icon again, the large panel opens again. This creates a frustrating user experience and reduces the available workspace for editing PDF documents.

    In previous versions…

  19. Pressing Shift+` does not type the tilde character in the text field. The only way to add the tilde character is by copy and pasting it from another website or application. Confirmed typing the tilde character in other apps, so it is likely not a hardware issue. macOS 26, Acrobat Pro ver. 2026.001.21745
