  3. Editing structured PDFs in Acrobat is still frustrating, especially for real-world documents like EV battery reports, diagnostics, and technical logs.

Trying to update simple things like values in tables, charging data, or performance metrics often breaks formatting, misaligns content, or requires rebuilding sections manually. For documents that are updated regularly, this becomes a constant pain.

Acrobat should handle these use cases much better.

    Key improvements needed:

Proper table-aware editing (not just text boxes)
Stable formatting when updating numbers or data fields
Easier editing of repeated report structures
Better handling of technical layouts without breaking the document

    As more industries rely…

  4. I'm so disapointed in this roll out of AI features. It completely bogs down Acrobat. Every time I go to edit text, something very simple, it has to generate a whole new menu and even ask me if it wants it to create an image, every. single. time.

I've disabled it multiple times and it keeps coming back. You can tell there are new things running in the background tied to the menu, help, and AI Assistant.

Acrobat used to be one of my favorite platforms, I could just about do anything in it. Now I can barely do anything…

  5. Editing text: pasting text onto pdf ends up with letters very widely spaced and unreadable. Prior version did not have this undesirable feature. Through trial/error, I found this could be avoided by extra step of selecting "0" on the "VA" menu button, even though it says "0" to start with. Ironically it says "0" as default, but if I do not set it to "0" again (even though the default shows "0"), "VA" now will read "14" for my copy-pasted text edit, and individual letters are so far apart as to be unreadable. It would be nice to revert to…

  8. When extracting pages, right now it prompts me to "Browse Folders" where to save. it then extracts the pages one by one into whatever folder I chose. I need to go combine the pages then rename the file... It's very tedious when we have several times of extracting... Would like an option so when clicking Extract page, I can use the address bar on top to navigate the path/folder i want asap, then hopefully be able to rename the pdf and then save as one whole file. Thank you so much.

  9. After the latest update, several problems occur when working in Adobe Acrobat Reader:

It is not possible to select text by clicking and dragging the cursor.
It is not possible to paste copied text into the document.
It is not possible to resize text boxes/fields.
Instead, the text wraps to a new line instead of allowing the text box to be expanded.
It is not possible to drag a tab out of the window to open it in a new window, which prevents working with multiple PDF files side by side.

These issues significantly impact usability and make normal PDF…

  10. Your new design is Horrendous. I can't find anything. Why do you shuffle everything around and hide all the most useful tools so no one can find them. Do you delight in making your users crazy? Not to mention terribly inefficient - it takes me 5 times longer to create and edit a document and even then it's not how I want it to appear. I often have to just save and move the file to my old PC and work off my old Adobe Acrobat (in no time it turns out just how I want it!!). Who on earth…

  11. I would like to provide feedback regarding the Edit panel in the new Adobe Acrobat interface.

When I click “Edit PDF,” the Edit panel on the left side takes up a large portion of the screen. The problem is that there is no option to collapse or resize this panel while remaining in Edit mode.

If I click the “X” button to close the panel, Acrobat exits Edit mode completely. When I click the Edit icon again, the large panel opens again. This creates a frustrating user experience and reduces the available workspace for editing PDF documents.

    In previous versions…

  12. Pressing Shift+` does not type the tilde character in the text field. The only way to add the tilde character is by copy and pasting it from another website or application. Confirmed typing the tilde character in other apps, so it is likely not a hardware issue. macOS 26, Acrobat Pro ver. 2026.001.21745

  14. We need to be able to correct minor items after we have received electronic signatures. We need to change a 8 to 6 in a date. Nothing major...all minor. Sometimes editing works and other times it does not. When clicking on an item, system will highlight entire row. I don't need the entire row highlighted...I need the date highlighted.

  15. In version 2026.001.21691 of Acrobat, a new bug has occurred which prevents Windows 10 machines from sleeping. Once you have chosen, “Edit Using . . . Adobe Photoshop,” the computer will no longer sleep until Acrobat is completely closed. Closing Photoshop has no impact on the bug.

The Windows powercfg utility reports that it is msedgewebview2.exe which is preventing the sleep:

    PS C:\Windows\system32> powercfg /requests
    DISPLAY:
    [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume7\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\EdgeWebView\Application\150.0.4078.83\msedgewebview2.exe

  16. Using the text box (which has it's own inherent errors often). Can see text, yay...and then click out of the box and it disappears. Open the edit screen and it shows it is there to edit. Go to where the text box is and click and the text appears, until you click out. SUCH a fantastic magic trick - however all I want is to see the text I have written in the box!

  17. Adobe Acrobat incorrectly renders newly typed Czech diacritics as square boxes in a multiline AcroForm text field when field highlighting / border hover color for fields is enabled and the field has scrolling disabled via the DoNotScroll flag.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open the attached "DiacriticsnoScroll.pdf" in Adobe Acrobat / Acrobat Reader.
    2. Enable the Forms preference:
"Show border hover color for fields"
/ field highlighting for form fields.
    3. Click into the multiline text field.
    4. Place the cursor at the end of the existing text:
    "Vážený pane Lorem Ipsum,"
    5. Type Czech characters, for example:
    č ř

  20. Error combining file. When I try to combine files I always get a pop-up saying it is trying to connect to a printer and then I freezes. I have to do Alt-Cntl-Delete to exit Adobe.
It used to to it fine until they did a new update in June with a new AI feature. Please let me know how to fix it. Very disruptive.
