Good news: the issue has finally been fixed in the latest update, Acrobat 26.0002.21869 (August 31, 2026).
The issue was that even when the paper size was set to A4, it would somehow revert to Letter without any apparent reason. This was particularly frustrating because the issue was not listed on Adobe’s Help site as a known issue.
I’m glad to see that the problem has now been resolved, even though it took some time. If Adobe is going to keep increasing subscription fees and make more money from its users, I think users have every right to expect obvious bugs like this to be fixed promptly.
In any case, I appreciate that this issue has finally been addressed. I hope Adobe will continue to fix other issues just as promptly.

If you're going to charge higher fees and make a fortune from your users, the least you can do is fix these obvious bugs promptly.

ANOTER A4/Letter ISSUE
after the latest update
I previously reported an issue where Acrobat would unexpectedly change the paper size from A4 to Letter. That issue appears to have been fixed in the latest update, Acrobat 26.0002.21869 (August 31, 2026).
However, I have now found another, apparently related issue.
When I create a new document using File > Create > Blank Page, the blank page appears to be created as Letter size, rather than A4.
When I try to print this document, the Print dialog shows a strange mismatch in the paper sizes. As shown in the attached screenshot:
Document: 215.9 × 279.4 mm → Letter size
209.97 × 296.93 mm → approximately A4 size
In other words, the document itself is Letter size, while the printer appears to be using A4 paper.
This also causes the red border shown in the print preview to not match the outer edges of the document.
I would appreciate it if others could take a close look at the paper sizes displayed in the screenshot. The discrepancy between 215.9 × 279.4 mm (Letter) and 209.97 × 296.93 mm (A4) seems to be an important clue to what is happening.
Could Adobe please confirm whether this is expected behavior, or whether there is another A4/Letter issue in the current version of Acrobat?
At this point, I’m starting to wonder whether Acrobat has its own preference for Letter over A4.
Perhaps Acrobat simply has a stronger attachment to Letter than I do. :-)
