The user is currently required to confirm as another setting remains based on the last print job. To have a default to Print as "Actual Size" is used almost all the time in the enterprise.

  2. Can Adobe provide a bulk "Print to Adobe PDF printer" tool with the option to enable "Print as Image" I support a law firm that is currently dealing with 3rd party PDF Producers that do not combine correctly (missing font/text) in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. This is due to the fact that not all PDFs on the internet are created using Adobe. We deal with a massive amount of public internet PDFs and currently Print as Image is a manual process where the end user has to open one PDF at a time then print to Adobe Printer ask to…

  3. Printing Multiple PDF's does not work. On latest Acrobat Version 24.002.20895. Have tested using several different computers/documents.
When in windows file explorer, if you select several PDF's (4 or 5) and then right-click, and select "Print". Only 1 document will print.
Have checked the printer's Job list, and Windows Print Queue. Only 1 document is sent to printer.

  4. When print completed PDF in GRAYSCALE (print option, black and white), some sections of printed form are HIGHLIGHTED (white text on black background) when they shouldn't be, making the printed pages unreadable. If I switch. to COLOR print, the problem disappears. I tried clicking HIGHLIGHT fields options to toggle to see if makes difference, it does not. Also tried selecting other fields and different printers... HP & CANON. Same issue. You can't print PDF in grayscale w Acrobat Reader:

  5. I'm using a Mac OS, when I try to print some pdf with Adobe Acrobat, some Chinese characters become empty.
I have contacted with adobe agent, they cannot fix this well, they want to me to print as an image, but I don't think it's a solution. I can print well before.
I don't know why I cannot upload the screenshot, it shows "could not identify image size"

  6. The new version is really horrible (removing the snapshot tool - the most useful tool in the whole program - great idea guys - and the "Disable New Acrobat Reader line DOESN'T EVEN WORK!), but one especially bad feature is that the new version sets the printer to use the lightest possible ink density. The resulting prints are so light they are almost unreadable. I've compared printed copies of the same document printed from the old and new versions of acrobat and it's definitely the new version at fault. I can't adjust the print density from the print dialog box.…

  8. When trying to print "page 1," something in this document coding was awry. It would print the very first page, but not the second one which was labeled p 1. The printing function seemed to go by the pages marked on the page. If I put page 2, it selects what is essential page 3, but labeled page 2. I had to use "current page" to get the 2nd page labeled p. 1 to print if I wasn't printing the whole document.

Also, when printing and telling it "odd pages" or "even pages", due to the previous, I thought it…

  9. Please allow us to adjust the margins when printing with the booklet feature. I am on Windows 11 printing statement document pages on landscape letter pages. Selecting booklet is great for this, except that it adds margins around the paper edges. This creates a narrow gutter and shifts all the statement pages toward the gutter. Now the margins are uneven. This can't be hard for ya'll to fix. Just stop adding unnecessary margins when booklet printing, or at least give us a way to turn them off. Thanks.

  10. custom scale is not properly centering the scaled document in the latest acrobat reader update. Custom scale is positioning the scaled document into the upper top left and left side; and truncating the upper left top and side. Applies to print to file as well as physical printer.

  11. When printing to Adobe PDF the Microsoft program font's do not match with Adobe and I get a .log file instead of a PDF. The software cannot read the .log file and we cannot view the document. This started when Microsoft made the new default font Aptos. and Adobe doesn't have this font or doesn't recognize it.

In order to print to Adobe PDF on Microsoft products, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. we have to change the print properties to UNCHECK "rely on system fonts only, do not use document fonts" which is a hack I found online from someone's blog.

  12. The "print in grayscale" button does not work on Adobe Acrobat Pro. I didn't have an issue with it printing in grayscale until I upgraded.

When I click the option, the file still prints in color and I have wasted so much ink doing this. You can click properties and select black/grayscale to circumvent this issue, but it's unnecessary when the button works fine for the free version.

My Adobe is up to date, I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the issue persists. I've found comments on previous threads from years ago saying they have the same issue.

    Please, just…

  13. Create ability to Print to a Queue and Save/Combine later, not at the time of printing. User could select Print to PDF which would open a queue that could be added to and edited/rearrange order, before ultimately Merging and saving contents as a single file.)

  14. The recorded video demonstrates this critical error in Adobe Reader. This problem has existed for many years (7-10 years) and despite updates it appears again and again. If the user did not switch to English keyboard layout (En-Ru) before printing and uses the CTRL-P key combination to print and then uses the Alt-H combination to select pages for printing, very often the program just hangs and doesn't respond. Dump File and Recorded Error Video are included.

  15. With printing to Adobe Acrobat the document opens by default after printing. When using Microsoft Print to PDF it just saves it where specified but does not open the document. Is there a way to set it so it automatically opens the document after printing it using Microsoft Print to PDF?

  17. I've been using the following statement in Powershell to control where Adobe PDFs are saved.

    rundll32.exe printui.dll PrintUIEntry /Ss /n "Adobe PDF" /a $datfilepath
    rundll32.exe printui.dll PrintUIEntry /Sr /n "Adobe PDF" /a $datfilepath

However, after a previous update, it stopped working. Status other than the output folder can be changed (for example, paper size), but only the output folder cannot be changed. If there is a problem, I would like to ask you to fix it.

    My adobe version is 2024.001.20643|64bit.

  19. 30 page document. Zoom into a table on a page.
Select Print | More options | Current view .... can't - its greyed out???!

This document is well over 10 years old, and has never caused an issue with all prior versions of reader. Does improving the software mean a reduction in capability and a marked increase in advertising guff in Adobe language?

    Disabled new Adobe.
    Opened document.
Printed view as expected, no issues.

Regression test the rubbish you write and don't release it to your customers until it is at least as stable as what you replace.
