I completely agree that thiis feature is needed and redacting the information before it is signed MAKES NO SENSE. Why would someone sign a document that is redacted? And many times the signor needs to provide the sensitive data...
For example, we have share purchase agreement where the purchaser needs to provide a tax id number so we can issue the stock. However, once the stock is issued, that tax id is no longer needed (and is very sensitive data) but the document still needs to be stored and accessed for auditing purposes, due diligence, etc. It would be very beneficial to be able to redact that sensitive information before the document is shared.
