My preferences are set to Override page display - Single Page Continuous. When I scan a new document, it does not use the override. I even double checked after it did not scroll and that's how it is set. I just now hit the symbol at the bottom of the page that is fit screen wide and enable scrolling and then I change the zoom to the setting i use. I agree if the preference is single page continuous, it should apply to new docs. We pay for this every month.
