    Same problem here, has been happening for several months. Mac OS 10.14.6 and recent Acrobat Pro DC 2021.005.2005. I have to quit Acrobat to get the revised PDF, otherwise Acrobat serves up the older version that I've just overwritten.It's very annoying.
